about 3 days after the auction ended. The item was sent 2nd class recorded delivery. The dispute was opened after 3 days!, so obviously opened before parcel arrived
I have been on to the dispute page on my paypal account and entered the tracking number. I have looked on the royal mail website and it says the item left their delivery office on the 11th April. However it won't let me see the elcetronic proof of delivery (which shows signatures).
The buyer still hasn't ended the dispute though.
Can he still get refunded? I am just worried that paypal will still refund him his money, as I know they seem to do that.

He emailed me, but I was away for the weekend. Then I read his email, and he was a bit stroppy in it TBH. I then posted the item off, after 3, 4 at most days (although it does say on the listings that I post at weekends, becasue of work). I haven't heard any more until i got the response today saying it still hadn't arrived, even though it was sent recorded

Have finally managed to get the electronic proof of delivery up on the RM website. it clearly shows someone signed for the parcel, on the 11th April.
So they have the parcel. Will paypal still refund them if they don't end the dispute?

Have sent the electronic proof of delivery to paypal, with an email explaining it all. I also got an email from them saying that buyer has escalated to a claim and that i cannot withdraw that money as it may need to be refunded.
Why has the buyer escalated to a claim - I have the proof of delivery

because they are stupid and think they get away with it or becuase they are not happy with the item??????

Sound a bit barking, or someone else has signed for it?

I would email paypal and ask the seller why they are doing this when you clearly have a sig for a recorded item. Check your buyers feedback - he sounds like a nutter.

The signature on the item is ( I am assuming) the wifes.
He never contacted me once before opening the dispute. He has never mentioned not being happy with the item. He has a feedback of 10, all of which are fine, no negatives or neutrals.

I'd ring paypal. They are fairly human when you speak to them and can often explain things better that way - I find their dispute process a bit like reading a map of nowhere, upside down and backwards. And I'm used to it!

Their number is somewhere on their website, sorry can't find it here, wrong phone.
