... admit that there's anything wrong with the jacket I won when there are numerous holes in the jacket lining and the 3 (badly sewn) on buttons do not match.

I emailed saying that it wasn't in "perfect condition" as stated in her description, and that I thought a part refund would be appropriate.

She responds saying "jacket is or was in perfect condition" and that I'd only paid 10% of what I would in a shop and the "item is and was as described, therefore no part refund is available"

Where the heck do I go from here?

She says I can leave feedback as I wish and she will do the same for me.

I am incredibly peed off and in need of some advice, please?

Much thanks for any responses.

You need to contact ebay and fill in a dispute formy thingy. Have you asked her for a refund if you return the item?

The thing is, I really like the jacket.

I can, if anything, repair the lining and try fix the buttons, if, of course I could get a few ££s back for it.

I'm so miffed at her attitude.

I paid with paypal.

What do I do??

the policies link at the foot of ebay pages might help you? it's really crap when that happens as if you leave negative feedback she will reciprocate in kind, i'm sure.

this might help

All I can think to do is, message her again and tell her that if she is unwilling to to offer a partial refund then you will simply return it to her and then paypal will refund in full. Point out to her that you do not take kindly to her threat regarding feedback but that she should consider the effect your feedback on this item will affect her should she try to re sell it.

If you get nowhere with her and you simply repair it, I'd be tempted to wait until May before leaving a neg, as she will be unable to leave a neg for you then.
