sorry its a bit long, on the 20th sept i bought a bebe confort hood for my sister whos pram hood on her windoo carrycot is broken, winning bid £28.
Paypal would only let me pay by stupid echeque as i have recently moved home(change of address) and i got maried last year but because i had changed address on my paypal account its counted as "unusual patterns of behaviour" therfor my account would only let me pay this way, seller was fine as it said payment would be clear by 1st Oct, it did clear and i heard nothing from seller for 5days so i emailed asking if she had sent it, i got an email saying she hadn't been in touch as her computer was broken but that she had sent it (fair enough).
As the strikes were just past i expected it a bit late but as i have been receiving mail and parcels for the last week some from ebay i thought i would email back saying still not recieved, i got no reply then 2 days ago i emailed again saying if she supplied the receipt number i could get my dad to trace it as he worked in the sorting office still no reply, so i have emailed her personally to say if she could acknowledge the emails still nothing,
this morning i tried to open a dispute as item not received but i have been stupid because after the payment went through i tried to change my paypal account to my new married name but it was a bit of a hassle to change needing my marriage cert etc so i thought it would be easier to close the acount and open a new one, and now i can't open a dispute as that paypal account no longer exists and to top it off the new paypal account will still only let me pay by echeque 9-10days to clear, i should of just kept the blinking paypal account i had as well as my maiden name on the damn thing, anyone any suggestions please?
