I bought an item last week and it arrived on Wed, my cheque has cleared and I've left feedback but haven't received feedback from the seller yet. Should I send a message and prompt her or am I being a bit sad!! How long is reasonable to wait? I've only sold once and this was my first purchase so I'm still a bit excitable with the whole thing!

I would email to say that as its your first transaction would she mind leaving feedback as you need to build up your profile.
I've done lots of transactions 100% positive so I don't chase people for feedback, but if it was my first go then I definitely would.

Thanks! I might give her another day or two then do that.

Has she sold a lot recently? If so, I'd leave it for a while.

Soupy yes she had about 20 items on at the same time! Good point. I'll let it go a week then email her. tbh, I won't be buying anything else yet but I'm just impatient!

I sold 9 recently and it was tricky enough spotting which had left feedback for me or not. However, I left it straight away for those who emailed me to say they'd got their item and were happy with it.

I'd wait a while as many sellers leave feedback in batches.
I wouldn't make a habit of asking for feedback tho - it's a pet of of many sellers.

it's definitely a pet hate of mine - I see i have a message so I stop what I'm doing to see if it's a genuine question that may lead to a sale only to discover it's a request for feedback

if i'm asked for feedback now I either make them wait even longer or don't leave it at all
...and when you get multiple requests from the same buyer i swear next time I'll give 'em feedback alright
