yes, under user ID history it states all previous usernames. There will no doubt be a way of reversing this search. Depends how clever and determined he is.

are you worried about him auction wrecking or just knowing what you buy and/or sell?

both! he hasnt done anything other than ask a question, but thats his sly little way of letting me know he knows. so at some point in the future he could bid on an item and cause problems, and the thought of him looking at what i am buying makes me feel sick. i just dont want him in my life and wish he would leave me alone. its pathetic really

you could add him to your blocked bidders list - that will stop him messing about.
But the only way to prevent him seeing what you are buying/selling is to set up a new account

I'd suggest keeping your current id AND getting a new one. Sell using the new one for a while - long enough so he thinks it's dead and you don't use it anymore or have changed id. The feedback thing sucks but you can still sell your things under the new id without worrying about him causing trouble.

think i will do what you suggest bibi, i was just hoping i could change my name and be anon like on here. never mind, thanks sixlm, you have saved me several hours trawling thrugh their 'help' pages

spose i can always put on any sales that i am not new and email me for my other id so people can check feedback. i cant be the only one this has happened to
