newbie paypal accounter needs help to pay please!

Hi, I have opened a paypal account. at the time it didn't ask me for any account details. The tutorail said it will when I come to pay, but it hasn't! I'm stuck! I want to pay with my visa. Please can anyone give me a step by step instruction where to get/put that info! many thanks
