How to make items 'private' on your e-bay feedback page?

Just realised that there is an option to make items private when people view your feedback on e-aby. This could be what I need to hide what I buy and sell from nosey IL's - not that I have anything to hide, but I want to see whether they are nosey enough to ask me what I am hiding . As I know they look at my account all the time!

Any ideas how I can do ti??

i have done it before and it was pretty easy but i cant remember exactly what it was, try looking n the feedback forum and see if that gives you any clues if not click on help and type "how do i keep my feedback private" and that should take you straight there, im sure e bay have placed restrictions on people with private feedback selling though. i can totally understand why you would want to do it, i have a couple of friends who always look at what i am bying and selling and as there kids are slightly younger than mine i always get asked why i did not offer clothes/toys to them or if it does not sell can they have it
do you not just feel tempted to list some VERY adult toys and see what they say

I dont mind them seeing the feedback - but it's what I have actually bought or sold that annoys me. I bought nappy liners once and was asked "what are 'peachy cheeks'?" If I had know how annoying they were going to become about it I could have given a rude answer too .

then again why should I make my buyers suspicious - the whole thing cheeses me off.

If I change my name they can track me. I cant open a new account using my current e-mail, basically I am trapped!

Although DH has promised to stand up for me if they ever actually question me over a transaction with a view to why I have sold something. But so far they have only asked my SIL why I was already seling DS's clothes as he's only a couple of months old.
