Dirty stained items received - described as fab condition

Received a small bundle today which was described as in fab condition and I paid £10 plus £3odd postage for 3 items of sports wear.

The first item I looked at (trousers) has stains on the front that you couldn't miss when packing up. It looks like they may wash out but I'm not sure. The second item (a sports top) is horrible. Stains on the front and clearly not been washed with horrible white stains around the arms on both the inside and out on both armholes. It looks like someone has wore it with loads of deoderant that stains and then stored it away. The final item is ok.

There was one photo of all the items together and the clothes look fine - you can see a tiny bit of white on the top but certainly does not show how awful it is.

I just want a full refund and to send the items back but is it best to contact seller first or just open a case? I don't want to pay for return postage as if I do that tracked that will be half the cost of the item. The seller has only sold 4 things so probably don't realise that you have to mention stains!

I'd contact the seller first.

Take photos and contact the seller first, they may offer a refund straight away.

When you next contact the seller, make clear you expect them to provide you with a full refund of the £10 plus £3odd postage and also for them to send you a pre-paid postage label to return the items.

If the response it anything less than immediate and willing acceptance open a Not As Described case with ebay which, if you follow the procedure, you'll win without a problem.

Messaged seller with pics but no response yet and will open a case if I don't hear from them. Thanks

Definitely open a case if no reply within 48 hours of sending a message.
