Would you give a buyer attitude if as soon as they received the item they wanted to return it? And then give them even more attitude about why it's taken them 7 days to return it? Especially when the item doesn't match the photos you posted.

Your post is all a bit reverse / cryptic OP!

I'm guessing you're the buyer who wants to return a (faulty / misdescribed?) item?

Can you give a bit more info?

Nope, however, tempting it is or irrational the reason for the refund. We politely refund, rant in private and move swiftly on. Lucily most of our buyers are honest. We do not refund though until item is returned if the reqest is dubious,

Buyer has a "no quibble" 14 day return policy. The item was really poor, like something you'd buy from the 99p shop! I took photos and told them I was going to return it. And all yesterday I got rude messages for daring to return the item. I ended up reporting them to eBay who agreed the seller had violated their email policy and will now take action.
Sorry, mum I just got really upset by their OTT horrible messages. Am glad I didn't respond and get drawn into it. Never experienced anything like it on eBay before.

Hi OP - in that case YANBU..... And did the right thing reporting them to eBay. Make sure you leave appropriate feedback, but only after you have your refund and keep it factual. Something along the lines of "item poor quality. Buyer was aggressive when I requested return."

Shouldn't get so upset a stranger but it was uncalled for nastiness and put me right off eBay.
