Best Offer

As a seller, do you usually respond to a Best Offer (if you use BIN) with a counter offer?

I always do unless the offer is way too low (got offered £9 for something I have listed as BIN £42 recently...).

But as a buyer I offered £6.50 for a skirt on BIN as £8 and the seller just declined without a counter offer. Stupid really as it annoyed me and I'm now not going to offer more. This was day 8 of a 10 day listing by the way.

When I lost something with a best offer I set it so offers lower than £x are automatically rejected and offers over £x are automatically accepted. Saves all that messing about!
