Shiply nightmare!

Anyone else had bad experiences with shiply? Used them in the past but this time they've been awful. Accepted a quote but the courier never made contact. Phone number provided by shiply for courier was disconnected -!: courier didn't respond to emails. The ebay seller was now saying pickup needed to be sorted or he'd have to sell to next bidder as they are moving house imminently.
Called shiply customer services - telephone help 'unavailable' at present! Send an email which promises a swift response, asking to cancel (system doesn't allow you to accept alternative quotes after accepting one). 4 DAYS LATER and still nothing from shiply. I have already paid my first deposit to them by now. I had no choice but to relist the job as urgent, and accepted another quote so I have to pay another deposit! Thankfully this one looks like it's going to work out but I'm out of pocket having paid deposit twice.
So others beware of shiply! And any clue how I can get my money back???

you need to contact customer service to get them to refund the deposit apparently.

I would shame them on Twitter tbh - more likely to get quick result that way

Thankyou, the problem is that customer services are not responding to my emails. There's no way I can see to speak to someone (phone number says customer services unavailable).
I'm trying Twitter and facebook but nothing yet.
Interestingly quite a few others in same position on their facebook page.
I'm definitely going to steer clear in future and would suggest others do the same.

When I say nothing yet - my tweet was picked up on Twitter and I have sent a specific email as requested, nearly 3 hours ago and still waiting. I will keep at it!

picked up on twitter? They haven't responded yet?

Because if your Twitter name begins with Nel - they have replied to you.

Unless I'm missing something (possible as don't really understand Twitter!) they did respond by asking me to email them referencing Twitter which I did, but then nothing.

oh I see - yep, I would tweet them again now asking when they are going to reply then.
