I emailed a seller asking about combined postage on a few of her items. The postage is £5.65 per item and i wanted quite a few of them.
This is the response is got
Dear xxxx
Hi

Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner I've been poorly and off work today.

I wouldn't combine postage I'm afraid because I can post for free at work and just have to pay for the packaging etc

Sorry because what I'm selling cost me a lot more than what I'm selling them for I'm relying on the postage to bump up the profit by a couple of pounds per item.

Happy bidding

I thought this was against eBay rules. I went to report but I couldn't copy the email for them so am i wrong. Is this allowed now?

Yes, AFAIK this is not allowed, tell Ebay anyway. Ebay has postage cost guidelines based on the seller paying for 100% postage - for a reason.

She is also committing theft from her employer unless she has written consent to put her private correspondence into the work mail system. I doubt she has. Lovely individual.

Put bluntly, it sounds like she is trying to have her cake, eat it and make you wash the dishes afterwards. Report her.

I would definitely report them and refuse the items on that basis.

No its not allowed. Report to eBay, copy and paste her words into your email to show them what she said.

Bloody cheeky! £5.45 for items she can send for free is taking the piss.

I've tried to report it but it wont let me attach her email or add any notes. Cannot find an ebay email address to send it to. Grr ebay gives me the rage some times!

Ebay do not get involved in postage disputes.
They won't do a thing.
You're probably on their blocked bidder list now, anyway.

I did an on-line chat with ebay about a seller making profit on postage
They will not do anything
It has saved me a fortune as I have quit ebay, I was sick of all the crap people were selling anyway, if it has a label they will sell anything no matter what condition
Its time ebay sorted this out
Try online chat as this one is blatant
