Item received after eBay refunded

Item listed as fixed price. I made an offer, seller counter offered, I agreed and paid straightaway.

Seller emailed to say item had been collected by the courier.

Two days later I asked for courier tracking number and was told the courier hadn't turned up yet.

Seller emailed tracking info but on the courier's website it didn't show anything other than it had been booked.

Emailed seller a couple more times but no response.

Emailed the courier who told me they tried to collect but item wasn't suitably packed so they refused to take it.

Forwarded that email to the seller and they replied saying it was due to be picked up the next day but didn't reply to my next two emails asking if it had been collected the following day. Tracking info still not showing anything.

Emailed courier again and they said they were waiting for the seller to rebook.

Opened a dispute after a few more days. Seller didn't respond at all during that week so eBay refunded the full amount.

The following day, the seller emailed to say they were hoping it would be collected that day. I ignored it because I didn't believe it would actually be sent and I had already received the refund. I then received another email to say they'd now seen I'd had a refund and did I still want the item. Again, I ignored it because it sounded like the item hadn't been sent yet (and I was away celebrating my sister's birthday so not high on my list of priorities!!).

Three days later the item turned up at my address!!

It's a great item and I had a real bargain (when I'd paid the amount I did originally). I know, morally, I need to pay for it but do I just go back to eBay and pay for it again? Is that even possible? It arrived on Monday and I haven't heard a word from the seller...it's all so bizarre!!

Yes - repay the money. You can log into paypal and send the money from there once you have the sellers email address.
