How does this work on ebay. Do I end the listing or does the buyer do something?

I'm new to ebay only started selling last week. They want to collect tonight and pay cash. It's an amount I'm happy with, ( well happy-ish, but this is the 3rd time of listing the item and I want the Pram out of my dining room), but not sure how it works from now on.

I simply invoice the buyer with the postage removed - just put 0.00 where it says postage on the invoice. (You wont have to do this if it was a for collection only listing)

The buyer picks up the item, pays cash and once this has been done I mark the item as paid.

I have done this several times now and it's always worked ok for me with no problems. I've only ever done it though with things I've sold that have a postage price

you just mark it as paid - and thank goodness your buyer didn't pay paypal - you must only ever take cash if they collect.

You don't need to send any invoice at all.

Thanks.

I think I've made a bit of mistake and agreed a lower price for cash on collection and I'm still going to be charged commission by ebay on the buy it now price.... I'm so dim sometimes.

why agree a lower price? They bid an amount and that is how much it costs. You pay 10% fee to ebay. How much did it sell for and how much discount have you agreed to?

You need to message back and say no the price is the amount they bid.

I know. It was a weak moment with two kids going on about snacks and so on... I just wasn't thinking.

I'm going to email now.

Thanks for advice.
