Any guidance would be very much appreciated thank you!

lots of photos, end in the evening, measurements if needed, send with proof of delivery, keep p&p reasonable - My Hermes or Collect + are cheaper than RM if under 1kg.

I'm not having a go at you but when you sign up for ebay and paypal they clearly offer you tutorials. You must have clicked past them.

I'll go and get you the relevant links.

Make sure you use clear photos. Put the brand, size and colour in the description to get more hits.

Back in a minute.

I signed up for ebay about 7 years ago and never really used it, but I'm able to go back and re-view the tutorials?

Ignore me, I get a bit crabby sometimes!

Sorry if I was rude.

Make sure you offer a realistic posting time. Don't say you will post in three working days and then find you can't post until a week later.

Make sure items are listed as free of pet hair and smoke and state so.

Be careful with postage costs. It's better to over estimate the postage and refund them later than to be out of pocket by not charging enough.

When packaging small items, try to get them flat so you can send via the smaller slot in the post office so you can pay only the large letter price.

If you are selling phones or jewellery, they are not covered by recorded delivery, you will need to post special delivery.

If you are selling expensive items then send by trackable means.

Do not accept payment other than paypal unless it is a collection only item, then you must never accept paypal as you are not protected and you must only accept cash on collection.

You werent, youve been very helpful thank you. I probably should have used it when I opened the account!

I'll get some photos taken and weigh each dress to estimate postage cost

Thanks for all tghed links Smile

You are in competition with lots of sellers, so take time to get a nice photo.

Chances are, another seller has the same or similar dress for sale, so take the time to look at other auctions that are similar.

Look at the layouts, see what attracts you to different auctions and be guided by others.

My pet hate is when people have photos sideways on, it only takes a moment to rotate a photo!

Careful with your background, no one wants to see the rest of the room, and no one wants to see crumpled clothing so take pride in your pictures.
