Hi
Sold my phil and teds on eBay. Described as having usual wear and tear of a second hand buggy would have.
The buyer came to collect, he had paid via pay pal beforehand.
He has emailed a week later saying there is a large rip in the baby section. On asking for pictures it's a small tear of about an inch. I honestly do not remember it being there at all.
I have offered him 10% refund as a good will gesture.
He has got back to me saying that it will cost £40 to repair but his nearest repair place is 50 miles away. He said he is thinking of asking for a full refund but would expect me to drive halfway to meet him as they live 70 miles away.
Surely it was his choice to purchase something in an area far from where they live in the first place?
He is saying he couldn't inspect the buggy properly as I was too busy with by 2 children! However, I didn't stop him from inspecting it himself and also he turned up 2 hours earlier than we agreed so DH wasn't there to keep an eye on the DC's.
What do you suggest I do now?
TIA
