I sold some shoes on Sunday, use the I phone app, and rather than comming up with a paid stamp it says payment pending.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why?

Thanks

Lastvtimevthisvhappened to me the buyer had an incorrect email address linked to PayPal or their debit card had expired and it had been paid by e cheque. Don't post the item yet.

Should I just wait? Or contact them, what's an e cheque?

I am having real problems with this at the moment on my payments (2 in the last 3 months). I have credit in my account so there is no problem with funds on my side. Paypal are indicating that the seller's email address is not registered. Can I get the seller to deal with this - not a chance. I am quite ticked because paypal seem to be incapable of dealing with this. I need to know as buyer that if I make the payment via alternatives on paypal that I am covered.

I have had this. Either eBay or PayPal had changed my email address without me even noticing. The payment was lost in cyberspace until I managed to locate the long defunct email address, remember the password, change it in PayPal to actually receive the payment and then delete it again. Pain in the arse and every time I sell something now I make damn sure my email address is right.

And the onus was on me as a seller to sort it out because it was my email address that had changed. Apparently I should have checked it. Well as it hadn't changed in the previous 100 or so sales it didn't really cross my mind. Bloody PayPal. Hmm

It's simple. Unless its marked as paid and you can see cleared funds in Paypal do not send the item.

I've had buyers giving me hell because I wouldn't send when the payment was still pending but bollocks to them. If you want it, pay for it.

the email address is incorrect - payment needs to be cancelled and then the payment needs to be made to the correct email address

I checked my PayPal email address and its the same as always been. So don't think it could be that. Any other ideas

so you can click on the payment itself in paypal when you log in. what does it say about the payment there?

wrong email address on the listing then - when you click on the listing itself, click on sell similar, scroll down and look at the paypal email address which is filled in - that will be the email the payment has been sent to

I did that and your right it says .con instead of .com....... But here's where I get confused I looked at all the past listings and they also say .con so they shouldn't have gone through either.

So if I get the buyer to cancel transfer , how do I then get her to pay me without delisting the item.

I sure you can tell I pretty new to eBay.

she can just send a new payment from paypal itself to the right address. and they can cancel the wrong payment there too
