I have a skirt ending tomorrow night, listed as BNWOT because I bought it a few years ago hoping to lose weight and fit into it but never did so never been worn. It is a designer brand but at the moment has one bid of only a few pounds and about 10 watchers, this is fine as I just want to declutter and don't really care what it goes for. Tonight I took it off the hanger and somehow one clip got caught on the waistband and has pulled a thread and caused a little damage (a good lesson for using the skirt loops to hang which I never do). Anyhow I am not sure what to do now, should I withdraw the item totally, or try to revise with an explanation and additional photo of the damage, or wait until the item has ended and contact whoever wins (or contact the winning bidder now)?
Fergoose, you helped me before over changing my postage options so I know you are very knowledgable about ebay rules. I don't want to damage my feedback for the sake of making a few pounds but then again someone may be happy to win a designer skirt for a few pounds even with this flaw, because it's on the waistband it may not show depending on how they wear the skirt? Grateful for any advice.
