I have just mailed a seller who I received a lovely pair of loafers from last week at a bargain price of 99p,problem is they smell really really badly of damp.I have tried airing them this last week and febreezing them in the hope the smell might vanish but unfortunately it has not.Shehas just told me now they have been in the wardrobe for a couple of years and she cleaned them up before posting (she must have smelt it) and the spiel said worn a couple of times, slight signs of discolouration inside but nothing noticeable when on.

The seller has just mailed me back saying she really does not know what to suggest, she will refund me the 99p but not the postage, they are useless to me.If she had said she would refund the postage too then I would not have been riled.Problem is now that she won't refund postage what do I do,give her a negative feedback (she currently has 100%) or not give her any and just chalk it up to bad experience, just what if we all did this and she has done it before.

Any ideas from someone more experienced than me in matters such as this.

open not as described with eBay from resolution centre

tick box marked other and type next to it refund

escalate in 10 days and eBay should give you a no fault refund without the need or expense of returning them

then you can leave neg feedback
