You might have more luck with this in chat, I know this is technically the right topic but I didn't know this one existed before now!
I'm struggling to think of a children's film without any sadness, what about some old ones like Paddington Bear or The Clangers?

just wondered if anyone had any ideas for non-scary films/dvds for my nephew (aged 5) and neice (aged 3) - their father passed away 3 months ago, and all the usual cartoons seems to be filled with sadness that is just too much for them at the moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
