divorce solicitor, London

Can anyone recommend a solicitor they have used for divorce? I am based in South London but can travel to Central London for someone good. I am sure my ex will play v nasty so I need someone who can handle that. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am using Sally Parsloe of Hodge Jones Allen. She was recommended to me via a very expensive/senior Partner at Charles Russell (who I simply could not afford).

She seems good so far; very solid.

Thanks toddlerbed - from the website she seems to be strong on the mediation side, but what if he refuses mediation? Have you seen her in court?

Will PM you my lawyer's details - I'm going through a divorce with a nightmare ex and so far very impressed with my representation.

If/When it comes to court you'll most likely be encouraged to use a barrister if it's anything other than a first directions hearing. The main qualities to look for in a solicitor in my opinion are experience, responsiveness, and somebody firm who will tell you the realistic prognosis.

Grayfords are really good - they only do family law so are specialists and are also very reasonably priced (did some work for my SIL - sadly now exSIL!)
