Court Approved Parenting Course

I was ordered by the court to attend the parenting course.

I live abroad so I am looking for something I can do quickly, ideally on one full day, cheaply, and of course get the certificate to tick the right box. Day or weekend, ideally in a group to save on finances. Location London, or even online if possible.

Many thanks for all your advice.

In essence, yes I am simply looking for the most convenient way to complete the court requirement, in my view ordered by the judge in what seemed to be "cover my ass decision", and ordered on both me and my ex, as to be fair, neither of us needs it and we both know it and none of us asked the other party to take it.

Naturally I do not discount that I will learn a thing or two, but quality of the course is not my primary concert whereas ability to do it quickly and cheaply is, especially as I do not live in UK so will need to fly back especially for that purpose, hence one hour per week class is simply out of option.

Such are the English courts nowadays, but I will raise this in a different thread.

I suggest you ask the Cafcass officer who should be able to point you in the right direction. Otherwise, if you call the court (ask for the Family section) they may have a list of approved courses.

Thanks for advice, but contacting cafcass is not an option, especially as I want the course to be simple and easy, as in my view it was ordered as part of deliberate red tape to save the cafcass from my appeal process.

In essence even the judge had to accept that cafcass report breached my kids human rights, what is making a situation very difficult now, as court could not do what cafcass recommended (basically stop the contact siting ONLY children's wishes for this, what bearing in mind that they are 5 and 7 and under diabolic brainwashing of their financially independent mother makes things very difficult).

Complex case which I am not keen to overcomplicate for the sake of my kids (need to pretend that mummy is great and so on). For now I just need a certificate now and move the case forward. Thanks.

If the court has ordered the parenting course it probably has a course it prefers (SPIPS). Which is offered as a one day or two evening course in most UK cities. It is free to attend.

here is an example www.mediationherefordshire.org.uk/separated-parents-information-programmes-spips
