Hi, I'm planning on commencing divorce proceedings next month as the 2 years separation will be up (he left in Feb-11). I'm planning on doing as much of it myself as possible. DP (who I met 8 months after the separation) and I, along with DD, are looking to move in the next few months as we need a larger place to accommodate his 2 children from his first marriage when they visit (STBXH knows about this). This will mean her changing school as well.

When I was going through the divorce petition and statement of arrangements for children forms I noticed a bit asking about both her school and home address, it also ask if these may change as a result of the divorce, as above they will change soon but not directly as a result of the divorce, so wondering what to put here, or whether it would be easier to wait until we've moved and she is at her new school before submitting the papers.

Any advice from those who have done a DIY divorce greatly appreciated as well.

You can only declare the information relevant at the time you complete the form.

From what you have outlined the change is not as a result of the divorce, but it may be useful to simply say that you expect to move to a new address in due course, which will require a change of school.
