Divorce/separation

wont sign.......

OK...served papers for divorce.....April 2012...I know he has received....(unreasonable behaviour).....he wont sign....just being awkward.....last bit of control....do I send a baliff to find him and sign ??.What happens if he still wont sign...want to just be rid of legal attachment....doing Divorce myself through courts.... thanks.....

Get the court baliffs to serve him. Apply for nisi after 28 days then.

What if baliffs get him but he still refuses to sign...what happens than???

I emailed my ex to ask him to sign and he replied saying he wouldn't. I signed an affidavit and presented the email to court. I got divorced (although he doesn't believe that we are).

A phone recording should also be proof so play around with your mobile and a friend and try calling him to ask why he won't sign. As soon as you have confirmation that he is in receipt of the papers your solicitor should be able to help you proceed.

I'm not an expert but this was my solicitors advice.
