child maintance to my partners child

Hello, please could someone help me on this,

Me and my partner are now moving intogether, and im interested to find out if i have to pay towards my partners child maintenance. Do the csa take into account my wage and saving.

No, your income is not taken into account, but if you have dc (even if not his) they will.

when you say dc, what does this mean? im guess somewhere along the lines child. i have no children myself.

Darling children.

CSA will take 15% of your partner's wages for one child, 20% for two, and 25% for three or more, but your money isn't taken into account.

A few years ago I got a letter and a huge form to fill in from the CSA regarding my partners child (we were living together at the time but not married).
It wanted to know all about my mortgage, savings, pensions, insurance policies etc.

I ripped it into small pieces and sent it to partners ex.
I didn't hear anything else from the CSA,
