Apologies if this is in the wrong place, I wasn't sure where I post.

Am I right in thinking that Aspergers is where someone has problems socially, in communicating and general social skills?

Pretty much, often there are lots of other things as well, sensory and processing issues and so on. What's on your mind?

Thank you LG. I haven't seen you around for ages but IIRC you have helped me a lot in the past.

I have just had a very difficult morning and I feel I might have a problem in this area when I have been putting my difficulties down to my chaotic and difficult childhood, as opposed to how I was going to be even if I had had mum and dad and a roses round the door cottage.

Well, I wasn't best thrilled with my aspects of my upbringing and the more I read about DS1 (ASC) the more I recognise myself. I find it interesting, we're all different.

Sorry I don't know what ASC is.

I feel like hiding myself away tbh.

Autism Spectrum Condition. Be kind to yourself. What's prompted this?
