Hi every one.
Ok so I may blog to help other parents but I am in need of help here.
Tell me about easy car seats and why they are easy. I have a maxi cosi pebble and its ok, I went to the Baby show and it really seemed the best I could find at the time. It has a big red button to release straps and I can manage my grip enough to be able to do straps up. However it is still difficult to manipulate him out of the seat and out of the car, my husband also disabled struggles with getting him actually out of the car as he is able to carry heavy weights and manipulate around car doors. Is there any particular easy brand for getting child out of car. My son is only 8 months old. What are travel systems like? Do they make anything about the car seat saga easier and if so what?
I really would appreciate hearing anyone's thoughts. I am going to look at an "axis" as soon as he is big enough, what does any one think about axis? Can't fault the car seats keep your child secure in the car but errrrm would like the seat to give up my child easily when I ask it too!
Cheers guys in advance.

I have the axis, it's brilliant. I'd really struggle getting DD in and out of the car if I had to try and reach round a normal car seat but with the axis I just turn it to face me and lift her out really easily. It's one of my biggest successes in all the different gagets I've tried to help me cope with DD.
Can't offer much advice on the earlier stage car seat I'm afraid, we had the other maxi cosi (cabriofix maybe?) with the i-candy cherry pushchair frame because they were the lightest things we could find. Once she got too heavy for me to lift out in the car seat I'd undo the seatbelt and turn it to face me so I could get her out more easily. I recommend the maclaren volo as the lightest lightweight pushchair to transfer to aswel.
Oh the Axiss is fab you do not know how much difference your comment made, gave me the confidence to go into Halfords and play with one for thirty mins. Got one and wow! New lease of life!
Thank you for your advice x
