My lovely goddaughter who has a spinal injury and normally uses a stick for mobility, has had a fall and broken her hip sad. For the time being she is using a wheelchair, but is finding it difficult to hold her wriggly ds - 9 months - and move the chair.
Do any of you have any idea if there is such a thing as a harness to attach to her wheelchair so she can have ds on her lap?
Thanks!

Would a sling be any good?

Yes, Harriet. Thank you! Of course a sling is the answer.
My dgd told me she had seen another mum in a wheel chair with her baby strapped in and I think I imagined there might be a special wheelchair harness.
But a sling would do the job.

Hi

I'm a mum who has to use a wheelchair all of the time. You don't need a special harness. I bought one of those long jersey wraps this time, can't remember the name it's by as Aussie company and it's brilliant. I've used it since my daughter was 1 month and now she's 11 months and it last until they're 15 kgs.
