The snow is very impressive even from the viewing gallery. There's a travel tavern at the very nearby trafford center. Also cinema's & an aquarium.

Aww don't be put off, there are often deals on Groupon and there is a knack to avoiding the queues, get there early or go on an inset/ teachers strike day.

It is fairly expensive but nowhere near the cost of a ski holiday so I look at it as a saving.

Why not make a weekend of it, stay over in a Premier Inn or something and go to the National Cycling centre or the Trafford Centre the next day.

Thankyou for the reply.
It would be a very long drive for us so I might find somewhere, nearer, cheaper and better

Its very expensive and the lessons are too, also very very busy, allow plenty of time if you are hiring clothes and skis, queues take an age. The staff are not the most helpfull I have ever encoutered either.
