I will be on my own and can please myselfI like art, culture and history, so a top day out for me is stuff like the Tate Modern, Imperial War Museum etc (which I have done before...)Is there anything a bit different and unusual which I really must experience?Cheers

The Bank of England museum is good.There's a Manet exhibition at the RA.Hadn't heard of the Wallace collection either.
Am such an ignoramus - I wasn't aware of the Bank of England museum either!
Perhaps the guildhall art gallery and nearby museum of london? Note the guildhall gallery is closed in the afternoon on 6 feb
I've been to the museum of London (feel less ignorant now) but hadn't thought about the guildhall gallery before - thanks
