Washing machine repair

this hoover machine has been throwing up errors e03 which mean its not draing properly intermittently, checked the machine hoses, seemed fine, and also the drain plug at bottom. But now happens at the end of the cycle even after seeming to drain an earlier detergent cycle.

Now a new error er16 which mean a problem with the heating element, which supposadly can throw up random errors in the machine until you fix it (espares advice)

Just wondering if anyone has changed the element?
