Due to get a rabbit in june shall we get one rabbit or two?

Don't know what to do?!
Is it best to have one rabbit?
Or have two together?!

Rabbits are very social so best to get two (make sure they're neutered or you will get lots more than you thought!). Even if same sex it's better to neuter or they might fight. Having said all this we had one lop-eared one for 8 years, she seemed happy enough but how would one tell, lol. Miss our rabbit loads but wont get any more as son is off to uni and he (bless him) did eight years of cleaning out her hutch.
