Taking the liberty of starting a new thread, as I went to post spends on the old one and it's full.
We had a lovely day out at the seaside and visited an old lighthouse as part of it. As we rely on public transport, that's always a big part of our days out spend.
£9.60 bus fares.
£9.60 train fares (with the family railcard).
£6 lunch from Sainsburys ( £3 meal deal each).
£4.50 entrance to the lighthouse.
£7.10 coffee, hot chocolate and cookies in a café afterwards.
Oh and DS needed a haircut, which I think was £6.50.

DH and I managed to save significantly more than usual last month, so I'm pleased about that. We've got to fund lots of work on our house though, so it's very much earmarked for when we ever get round to doing anything.

Well done Collie, I am so pleased for you. Good plan, overpaying while rates are so low is good value for money.
Wreck, not all rescues bar under 5s, kitten season starts soon though. People breed moggies for money, easy tax free cash, the local vets will know whose got a litter coming up that they can't keep. Or they might have an adult who needs a new mommy. We all call ourselves mommy to pets, yes?.
£46 food shop
£4 lettuce and cat litter in morrisons
£6 on beer in Tesco but am claiming it back off clicksnap and snap and save.
£10 fuel.
£26 shorts from boden. They fit like they were made for me so I got another pair & customer services are giving me first dibs on any customer returns in my size.
Em You get them everywhere. I'm in healthcare and the attitude some people have is astounding. He'll be like those patients who are passed around each GP surgery on a 6 week rotation because their too batshit to be permenant anywhere. I'm sure the next person will be sick of him soon.

Em Your client sounds like a PITA. I had clients like that in my last job. And grumpy bosses 
. Hope tomorrow is better.
NSD for me today. Parents have lent me £40 so I can buy some food which, as a grown woman with a child, I find completely embarrassing 
, but I literally have no money at all. So thankfully I'm going food shopping in the morning but going to keep it as frugal as possible so I've still got a bit of money left for some food at the end of next week. I've applied for JSA but received a text this morning saying they'll let me have a decision in about a week, so looks like it'll be a while before I start receiving it - and that's only if I'm accepted. So it'll be a week of worry until I know for sure.

money however embarrassing it is your parents were glad to help you out no doubt
One skirt definitely going back it's too short, other one I will try again in the morning with tights.
Spent some vouchers from surveys today in Boots got myself some lovely tinted moisturiser from no 7 & balance of voucher went against some plasters for family first aid kit.
Other spends were food treating myself, kids & my cousin to lunch €36.10 €100 on halotherapy (he had lost my booking & had double booked so gave me today's session for free & I found out I can take both children at no extra charge) €100 or so on clothes for children sale on in name it shop & some spends in Penneys. Children are very low on clothes & I only do this about twice a year! Will go again tomorrow for some more clothes & perhaps buy some for Christmas presents 🤔

wolf have you looked online at vouchercloud? They might have some money offs for Boden which could make the dress cheaper. although shouldn't be encouraging you to spend

Should be an nsd today. Dh is supposed to be treating me to dinner tonight as an apology for working late recently. But has caveated it with - but he might have to work late today. 
. But the plumber is coming tomorrow morning. So
I'm not even annoyed about client going to someone else. He was an absolute pain. He kept duplicate records then complained when mine didn't match his (because he'd included things we didn't know about). He couldn't be bothered to read emails properly or open and scroll down attachments (this weeks example was that he asked for 5 invoices. I sent 4 attachments because two had been scanned together. File had been labelled as such. He didn't scroll to page 2. This was one of his complaints). Douche.
Anyway. Person he's going to isn't as qualified as me, has less experience and is in my opinion a lazy ass. So he'll be moved on fairly swiftly.
But it gives me opportunity to take on more of leaving colleagues work. So that's all good. I've already spoken to a couple of her clients who have nicely expected some hiccups in the beginning of my dealing with them as I get used to it.

Visiting my cousin today, we had planned a picnic with dc, that'll be an indoor one instead now otherwise known as just plain lunch

Em some people are just pains, I think some people are just never happy unless they can find something to complain about!!
Ipsos are they removing wax from your ds's ears? Am guessing they aren't putting grommets in that quickly!!
We are having a quiet day today, was lovely to have day out ystd but dd tired today and I need to catch up on some house work. I want to order my friend who helped me out massively when dd was in hospital some flowers, any recommendations for good florists?
It is always surprising which people stand out when when there is a crisis I find, my parents and this one friend were really the only people that really supported me during what was the worst week of my life. Have been disappointed in my brother who lives locally but has not even popped over to see how we are
