Lovely things that make you happy and cost a fiver or less

(108 Posts)

Bought an enormous bunch of daffs in M&S yesterday for £3 and am smiling every time I see them.

Twinings Earl grey costs less than a fiver for a big box.

A cup of coffee and a muffin in Starbucks.

3 books for a pound in our local charity shop.

What else? Inspire me please! smile

Yes to clothes from Ebay. I got a stunning jacket that has had loads of compliments, and a gorgeous silk top - both under a fiver.

Red wine.

Just remembered Aveeno body lotion (when on offer!) and Flexitol handcream (which might be £6 but is brilliant, so worth the extra pound!).

Also -

green jelly

making a tray of fairy cakes

a fried egg sandwich with HP sauce

Too many of mine are food-related.

Yes! The chips have to be by the seaside and it has to be too cold to take your coat off.
Walk in winter sun with kids and mad Labradoodle.
Coming home to tea/hot chocloc and thawing out.
