Best place to sell old stuff?

I want to have a huge clearout, and ideally sell some of it to make a bit of money. It is all pretty low value stuff - womens and kids clothes, books, household stuff, toys, a cotbed, craft supplies, old mobiles and gadgets, etc. I also have some clearance stuff from my Avon business that I could do with shifting.

I'm thinking the old mobiles and gadgets could go to one of those websites that are always advertising, but is the rest best to be sold on facebook selling pages?

Just done/doing a big clearout too!
I have put things on-line (fb carboot pages are good) and e-bay, just because it is minimal effort.
I have also earmarked a weekend, with a friend,to do a car-boot. We looked for the biggest one that wasn't too far away, so hopefully will be clutter free in a couple of weeks!
Good luck!

Old mobile phones generally make more money on eBay than what you are offered on those phone websites.
Goodluck

whoneedstosleep - thanks for the tip Smile I sold my last two mobiles with Mazumo, will try eBay next time.

OP, are your clothes brand names? They'll sell better on eBay if they are.

I have a selling page on fb and has sold loads. Other free sites are friday ads, preloved and netmums

Have you tried your local Gumtree? You could always put bundles of clothes/books. It is free to list & you can put up to 9 photos. Also, because it is local, people are more likely to collect, saving the hassle of posting items Smile

Also, try clothesforcash.com to get rid of old (but usable) clothes, they pay by the kilo.
