I always knew Michael Flatley was a dodgy geezer

And now he’s confirmed it by agreeing to jig about at Trump’s inauguration ball. Michael must have been way down the list to only have got the call this week. I’d say below Rod, Jane, and Freddy but ahead of Bosco.

The only way I could be persuaded to jig about for that man if I’d just trampled in dog shit and I was able to jig about on his fluffy hair.

Well, may the campy power of his humble Eurovision origins smite Michael down. May his shoes blister and the arse of his pants rip when he's doing a particularly high kick to a fiddle-de-di moment.

I bet Jean Butler always thought he was a complete arsehole.

😂 That is all.

Well I hope it all stays fine for him.

Mitzy are you Mario Rosenstock ?
😂😂😂

I just heard there might be a fight between them ( DT and MF ) over the bronzer.

I could imagine it getting very heated if either Flatley or Trump thought the other looked fluffier of hair or more alluringly orange than the other. Two obese egos right there!

Ah MrsDusty you are a much more magnanimous soul than I am. Because I hope Flatley puts his back out and that Trump gets a severe dose of the squirts after eating a dodgy oyster.

Jean Butler apparently couldn't stand Michael Flatley. Hated him. Not surprised he agreed though he is such a twat.

TheSpottedZebra · 19/01/2017 23:57

There is a story about him in today's popbitch mailout:

"A very glamorous friend of mine was in the Met Bar a few years back and Michael Flatley sent one of his henchmen over to ask if she would like a drink. She politely declined. The henchmen returned minutes later to try and re-persuade her but, again, she declined.
After a few minutes, the exasperated henchmen turned to her and said in tones of outrage 'But he is the Lord of the Dance!'"

Trump - Flatley emails Grin

Must say, the Donald does seem very taken with bare-chested men. First Putin, now Flatley....

Circa 62 million people voted for Donald Trump, at least one of them must be a better dancer than Flatley.
But I guess that this thread is really about ignoring, or ridiculing the votes of those 62 million people.

jasonapple · 20/01/2017 00:16

He's the Irish Gary Barlow. Does he pay his taxes?

MitzyLeFrouf · 20/01/2017 00:20

'But I guess that this thread is really about ignoring, or ridiculing the votes of those 62 million people.'

No that will be a separate thread. 62 million threads in fact, one each so no one feels left out. This thread is purely for ridiculing the King of the Prance.

I thought he was retired, I wonder if he is still in shape?, he must be pushing 60 too.

The whole inauguration is going to be so awful and cringeworthy that I think he is a perfect fit.

MitzyLeFrouf · 20/01/2017 00:23

'After a few minutes, the exasperated henchmen turned to her and said in tones of outrage 'But he is the Lord of the Dance!'"

😂

He fancied himself as quite the lothario at one stage, was mad for the buxom blonde beauties. I'd say his poor brain was a bit befuddled if a woman ever spurned his advances.

Stavros Flatley would have been far more entertaining.

TheMysteriousJackelope · 20/01/2017 00:26

Redactio Why would anyone want to pay any more attention to the votes of the 62 million people who voted for Trump than Trump wants to pay to the votes of the 65 million people who voted for Clinton?

This thread seems to be more about having a go at Michael Flatley than anything else. I don't think the 62 million were voting to have him perform at the inauguration. It didn't appear as part of the Trump campaign promises anyway.

I thought Fatley was too ill to dance any more. Hope he doesn't stand too close to Flump - their hair would stick together like Velcro .

'Apparently the line up is going to be 'traditionally and typically American'

Depressingly enough that phrase doesn't even surprise me.

Oh of course they can't have any African American performers. The alt right neo Nazis that Trump toadies up to wouldn't approve.
