Cots and beds

Wanted:old fashioned folding travel cot

The sort that folds in half; rather than packs away into a bag/box

New/second hand I really don't mind & no there aren't any on eBay (at least there weren't any at about 12 today - I looked through nearly 1,200)

katy i knew this would be you"!!! you posted on it before didn't you?

i was up in my mum's attic the other day and found hers and i was all like "wow, someone on mumsnet wanted one of these"

now, i am sure you are welcome to it but it is
1.) VERY heavy
2.) quite dirty as has been in the attic for about 15 years

My mum might possibly have one. And a friend I think has an old platpen and hates it, I know she was wanting to get a replacement, but not sure if either of these are the folding flat kind. If you are anywhere near Warwickshire I can ask for you?

Cambridge is closest but it's still over an hour away (or is it nearly 2?)

The Devon one is quite expensive when you factor in a courier

Katymac - I'm in Cambridge if I can be of any help (collect until you can collect etc!)

You just need to put travel cot on ebay watch - then you get emailed with them every day and eventually one will come up nearby and you can pounce.

Really - I have to go to St Neot's soon (halfterm) - so that might work

I think the cot is in Ely that's quite a way from Cambridge isn't it?

listen, if you still need one come august i'll drag it down and see if it's cleanable. if it is, i'll see if i can fit it in for you

it IS ancient though, so no guarantees (was mine when i was a baby and i'm nearly 30! )
