I'm looking for one to use as a permenant bed for my two year old. She is in a cot at the moment and we would like her to share with her 5 year old sister who has a nice sized room. This is my 5 year old girls bed:

I'm looking for a nice white good quality trundle bed on simple little wheels to live under this bed so I can leave all the bedding on it and pull it out at bedtime into the middle of the room. Where could i get one from that holds a single size matress?
Is it OK to use a trundle bed as a permenant bed with a good quality matress on it?
We're not interested in bunkbeds b/c my 5 year old doesn't like the idea of them and we don't want to get rid of her bed b/c it weas pretty expensive.

Thanks for any help and advice on this,
♥

here you go
you will need to measue the space under the current bed really carefully

personally I think it'd be nicer for her to have her own real bed

MrsBadger, I'm not sure what other option we have, my older girl and I don't like bunk beds and because of the design of her room (one of the walls has got two inbuilt wardrobes going into the wall) there is nowhere in the room that we can put another permenant single bed frame but there is plenty of room in the middle of the room to pull out a trundle bed frame each night. My two year old has got her own room at the moment but they really want to share so I'm not sure what to do. if you have any other ideas that would be great. we thought a trundle bed would offer lots of options, it could be used occasionally by my younger girl if they don't get on sharing or if they love it she can use it all the time. we wouldn't rule out in the future my two year old having own bed in own room but still having trundle bed in her sisters room for when she wants to use it....we thought we might get a trundle bed for now instead of a little cot bed b/c it could be used either all the time or occasionally. what do you think?
