Ikea Kura - reversible bed. Thoughts please

After a very long day in Ikea today, the Ikea Kura is clearly the favourite for DS, and I like it too.

Does anybody have one? Is it a pain in the arse to change? I like that it's nice and low, and then when he's older we can flip it and have storage or a den underneath.

the only thing i'd be aware of is that ikea beds are quite tall, so when it's used as a highsleeper you need to make sure he actually has room to sit up in bed! my friend wanted a high bed from them and she wouldn;t have been able to get into ti

fine if you have nice high ceilings though

we used it for two of ours, but the only pita was the wooden support going along the front, making it difficult to have wider furniture underneath.

That one doesn't look too tall though - 116cm so that would definitely fit in a standard room with room to sit up in it. Looks more like cabin bed height than a high sleeper.

I saw this in Ikea a few weeks ago. It was brilliant, especially with the night hood thingy on it.

Thanks all - will check the height. DS is already quite tall at 2.5, so wouldn't want him banging his head on the (not very high) ceiling
