mid or high sleeper for 6yo?

We'll be buying in the next 6 months or so and not sure whether the mid sleeper would be a bit too babyish for DD? The high sleeper seems quite high but says suitable for 6years +.

The reason we're wanting a bed up off the floor is due to limited space/small bedroom so obviously high sleeper would give more height underneath but not more floor space iyswim.

Any opinions or has anyone had both?

Had both dd went into a very high sleeper just before she was 6.

Sounds like we may get more life out of a high sleeper then - it's a shame you can't seem to get the tent things to go under a high sleeper like you can the mid.

I made one (on a previous high sleeper for my eldest) net curtain wire attached to the bed and then converted a sheet into the tent bit.

Get a high sleeper and make a tent to fit it!

Would she be co-operative in putting a fitted sheet on her bed herself?
I ask as its a royal pain in the a88e trying to climb up and fit a sheet whilst hunched over on all fours(although i suspect easier if youve got high ceilings)
we tried, it didnt work so we ended up with a bunkbed.

Another point worth adding

Not all high sleepers are HIGH - ds's is no higher than a standard bunkbed.

Thanks for the further replies - ceilings are quite high at our house (terraced prop) but could possibly be moving to somewhere with more standard ceilings soon so may be an issue.

I can imagine the sheet changing to be a bit of a nightmare yes, but I am such a lazy slattern that they don't get done as often as they should anyway
