Hi, Im having my first pregnancy which I was blessed to be having twins. Does anyone have any tips on what style of cot to look at?

It depends in the space you have and your budget really. We had one given to us, just a basic for from Toys r us. The second was from Mothercare, again, just a basic one.

Congratulations.

I'm planning on having them share a cot bed at first. We've got a second cot bed in what will be their room for future use and if they don't take to sharing, we'll separate them and have both in their room, with DH and I taking it in turns to sleep with them. Two cots won't fit in our room.

Mine shared a cot for 3 months. Then they started to annoy each other (have never been that interested in cuddling each other!) so we're in a cot each. Didn't bother with cot beds as didn't have the space in their room (moved them from our room at 7 mo). Then into toddler beds at 2y4m - again, due to space constraints. Will move them to bunks in 18 mo or so

Thank you for your comments. We were definitely thinking of them both sharing, 1 for space but 2 we heard it was a good thing for them as they are in my tummy together for so long. This has helped me a lot. Thank you

I'm a first time mum to be with twins. I wanted to know if there are any brands that you would recommended?
