I've had a mattress delivered today for my little one who is almost 10 weeks old. The mattress is a standard cot spring interior mattress.
I know this is going to sound stupid but it' like a small mattress and I thought little ones mattress didn't look like a normally one?

From what I remember, the good ones are like normal- particularly for cot beds. I only had cheap ones and they were just foam and i remember feeling they were a bit rubbish in comparison to a real mattress iyswim. It sounds like you got a better quality mattress for your little one. :)
