Arms Reach Co-Sleeper BEDDING - HELP

Hi, Im trying to find bedding for the Arms Reach Co-Sleeper and wondering where a) does the best bedding anyway - softest, washes the best etc b) can I buy bedding for a 65cm x 100cm mattress?? V few places sell this Im finding, so any top tips hugely welcomed!

If the mattress is fairly hard and wipe clean, should I be using a a mattress protector as well as a cot sheet?

Have many people used a seperate mattress altogether given its so hard?

mine came with a sheet
I bought a seperate mattress from baby mattress online - they made to measure - as the mattress was bit hard
I used sleeping bags most of the time - and just a baby blanket with DS was very little
