Cots and beds

Please recommend a reliable cot!

Looking for some advice please! We bought a cot from Mamas and Papas for our first child 3 years ago. It served us well and we stored it away when he moved into his bed. We have recently reassembled it for our new baby and it is literally falling to pieces!!! The screws just turn round and round and the sides are not at all secure. I'm very annoyed but looks like we're going to have to buy a new cot. Been browsing but there's no way to tell which ones will last. I'd have thought we'd be fine with one from MAP but I was wrong! We're hoping to have a third child so looking for one we can take to pieces and reassemble easily. Thanks for your help!

We have a cosatto cotbed and it did my son til he was 5 and now my DD is in it, no problems. The sides where taken off and stored then put back on 3 yrs later for DD and its as solid as its ever been.

Thanks Flojo - it's great to have a recommendation from a real mum!

Have you thought about drilling holes and using bolts to reassemble your current cot? It might not look quite a nice, but would be a lot cheaper than a new one.
