Mattress protector for cot?

I've bought a mattress from John Lewis with a zip off cover, do I need a mattress protector too?

DS isn't very sicky, but has the odd leaky nappy.

The waterproof one on our bed (for while he's in it) makes us all sweat, so I'd rather avoid that for him in the cot if poss.

If I do need one, can anyone recommend one please?

Thanks!

I got a good one from M&S. Didn't think I really needed it until DD learnt to remove her nappy at nap time!

Eek, I never even thought of that possibility! Fingers crossed DS isn't such a fast learner!

Thanks :)

I now understand why they make babygros for up to 2 years! It was either that or gaffer tape!
