Bed for very very small room

Please help. I need a single bed for a tiny room but dont want to block the window with a mid or high sleeper.

Was thinking about cabin beds with shelves above and saw one in Tesco Direct but reviews are not good and say storage is poor.

Any ideas anybody.

Thankyou in advance.

we had a small room and we built our own shelving system with a space for the head board to fit in at one side (so the bed was against the wall). we made a timber frame attached to the walls, ceiling and floor and made the frame into the shape/outline of a seven. we then filled the "7" with shelves and painted it all to match the colour scheme. we bought a bed with space underneath (think it was metal)and put storage boxes underneath so ds could keep his toys in them.

Sounds a good idea county but not sure our DIY skills would be up to it.

Could get a carpenter to quote though.

Hi we were looking for a small bed for our Son's room with storage this may be storage in reverse for what you were looking for but he loves it as he can reach all his toys and books as they're built in below the bed - bunk style.

Get one built in. DH made some for our DC. As cabin bed for DD's tiny room and a set of right-angle bunks for he boys. Getting them built bespoke will mean you can fit it in around existing windows and doors. Try local carpenters.

Thanks everybody. We already have a mid sleeper very similar to the one nowadays has linked to, but it does block the window and makes room seem even smaller than it is!

I think the only option is to get one made by a decent carpenter, then we can have what we want. Will cost a fortune mind you!
