Cycle month 4 #1 - CD5 xx

DrewsWife Wed 26-Mar-14 23:43:23

Am at work shhhhhhh. But computers are in meltdown. Complete so I can't do anything. Eeeeek.

What are you doing to beat the odds.

I am going to dtd every other day for a fortnight. Poor hubby will be worn out. Hahaha. We are using conceive plus tablets and hubby bought some spray for my hoo ha to make t more ph neutral.

We are willing to try blooming anything.

I have cut my back shifts down to 4 a week from 5 or 6. I work until 2am. I also do a Sunday school

NewlymrsB Thu 27-Mar-14 09:11:57

I am going to try everything this cycle! Hubby has a high sex drive so will be in his element! Lol

RPopz Thu 27-Mar-14 15:49:00

No Af yet but can feel her coming.... next month I'm getting opks and preseed! Determined!!

NewlymrsB Thu 27-Mar-14 15:51:17

Rpopz I'm with u on that!!

DrewsWife Thu 27-Mar-14 16:53:23

We use clear blue digital monitor and I'm still not being lucky. I have another few days before I'm fertile again and I swear I am going to get upduffed if it kills him!! grin

NewlymrsB Thu 27-Mar-14 17:54:51

Haha love it Drew! Enjoy ;) ;)

RPopz Thu 27-Mar-14 18:32:03

That's the thing I'm worried about I think, I'm using a period tracker phone app at the mo, so I'm not necessarily ovulating when it says, so the opks would help to take the mystery out of it.... but if that still doesn't work I will start worrying something is seriously wrong!! Plus I guess you still need regular dtding just to be sure...

Hope you all have a lovely evening! x

indigo55 Thu 27-Mar-14 22:04:25

Feel determined this cycle too.
First time with BBT, drinking grapefruit juice to produce more cm and on top got some conceive plus lubricants AND even got opks- I have a very irregular cycle so I think Il need tons of that.

Anything new, different people are trying this cycle?

indigo55 Thu 27-Mar-14 22:06:08

I hope AF stays away Rpopz and you have some good news soon! fx

Love the determination Drew!

victoria401 Fri 28-Mar-14 10:39:19

Need to buck up my ideas this month! What can I do!

RPopz Fri 28-Mar-14 11:25:19

I'm bidding on cbfms and preseed on ebay.... :-O

DrewsWife Fri 28-Mar-14 11:52:30

Hahahaha. Hope you win them.

Well I'm having the work week from hell. Was in work until 330 last night. Have to drop stuff in church. I'm exhausted and run down and Gubbed.

Month 5 TTC # 3
Have DS who's 12 & DD who's 10
BFP due 9th April

DrewsWife Sat 29-Mar-14 02:23:39

Hi Pickles smile

Pickles79 Sat 29-Mar-14 10:28:58

Hello smile

Does anyone know what sore boobs means in relation to ovulation? Predicted ovulation was Thursday but yesterday I was in agony all day with painful boobs. Does that usually happen after ovulation or does it indicate I actually ovulated a day later than I thought?

DrewsWife Sat 29-Mar-14 17:25:23

No idea?? Sorry pickles.

Hubby is working this weekend. Argghhhh. My fertile week!!!

victoria401 Sat 29-Mar-14 19:13:10

Right, deffo in here now. Cycle 17 sad ttc#1 cd1 bfp April 26th or thereabouts....

RPopz Sat 29-Mar-14 19:35:39

17 Vic? Didn't realise that :-( Have you got any referrals or anything yet for testing? Tell me to bugger off if you want! Xxx

victoria401 Sat 29-Mar-14 19:56:06

No worries Rpopz. I'm on another thread to discuss our difficulties, trying to keep it out of the regular buses :-) but yeah we are both having tests. Until its proven otherwise we are still hopeful it will happen naturally :-)

DrewsWife Sat 29-Mar-14 20:20:53

Sorry you are here xx.

RPopz Sat 29-Mar-14 20:24:14

Ah I see. Well sorry to hear about AF and fx for you for April x

Chloerose75 Sun 30-Mar-14 03:05:11

Trying since September though a few months we have missed the window. I am now in the 2ww, fingers crossed. Good luck all.

NewlymrsB Sun 30-Mar-14 09:28:34

I'm out sad going to have a bit if a break then be back for my 2ww!! Good luck all xx

victoria401 Sun 30-Mar-14 13:58:22

Right I've bought some ov sticks! Told DH we are doing the SMEP and that's final! If this doesn't work I'll be VERY ANGRY! I Mean business this month!

toothachereturns Sun 30-Mar-14 14:11:02

Im in!
cd11, 2nd month ttc no.3.
Af due 16th April-ish. Debatable positive opk last night.... I'll do another tonight to see if I get a stronger result. Either way, the theme of this weekend and next week will be lots of DTD. grin

RPopz Sun 30-Mar-14 14:14:27

Haha Victoria, love the determination! Ive just bought a clearblue fertility monitor on ebay... AF not even arrived yet lol. Talk about pessimism!

toothachereturns Sun 30-Mar-14 14:19:27

What's SMEP?

victoria401 Sun 30-Mar-14 15:49:49

Sperm meets egg plan toothache I think it consists of dtd every other day from cd8 in conjunction with ov prediction sticks. Was going to do it last month but had many setbacks at the start (pet died then I got sciatica and could not walk let alone night acrobatics!) Plus didn't buy opks. Didn't start dtd til day 11 or 12 so think missed the boat. Must have ovd early as short cycle, only 26 days.

That's another thing. I started bleeding day 27 so coz that's now day 1 did I have 26 day cycle or 27? There is much debate on my facebook ttc group!

victoria401 Sun 30-Mar-14 15:52:54

Oh yeah was reading the leaflet in my opk packet. Says if you do not get preg after 3 or 4 months using this product consult your doctor. They'd just tell you to Bugger off and come back after a year or 2. Silly leaflet....

DrewsWife Sun 30-Mar-14 16:19:08

Ovulation detected today by my monitor. Have only managed to dtd once due to shifts clashing. Arghhhh. Feeling like it's never going to happen. Hubby is in tonight and tomorrow until 4. So really going to have to get him that berocca to keep his energy up!! Lol.

toothachereturns Sun 30-Mar-14 16:28:21

Thanks Victoria! Ive been doing that technique without even realising it had its own acronym. smile
We dtd cd7, 9, 10 and will pounce again tonight on cd11.
I think I normally ovulate around day 13/14, but not sure of cycles since my mirena was removed so here goes!

DrewsWife Sun 30-Mar-14 16:39:25

I'm ovulating early. Today is day 11. Not sure if it's a good or bad thing. I have noticed a lot of creamy discharge. Is that good or bad?? I don't normally get a lot of that.

RPopz Sun 30-Mar-14 17:55:16

I've read that in a book too Vic, if you're using opks and temping and all the rest of it and don't conceive in 3-6 months you should go to gp.... can't imagine how they'dreact to it though!

Is smep from a book or something? Only ever heard of it on here.

If af day is day one then you had a 26 day cycle surely!

victoria401 Sun 30-Mar-14 18:12:55

In that case I've written down all my other cycles wrong! Bummer!

RPopz Sun 30-Mar-14 18:17:57

Well I'm no expert! That's just how I'd interpret it x

victoria401 Sun 30-Mar-14 18:57:22

It only occured to me today! I'm a scientist, I should know this stuff! Did they teach this in BMS school?

RPopz Sun 30-Mar-14 20:09:04

Haha, not sure I learned anything remotely relevant to anything in bms school ;-) x

NewlymrsB Mon 31-Mar-14 09:17:17

Cycles normally 30-34 days. Today is day 35 tested today BFN. Had slight pink tinge on sat eve when I wiped after dtd (sorry tmi) since then nothing!!

Driving me crazy, is there hope for a BFP soon??!

DrewsWife Mon 31-Mar-14 11:57:39

I hope you get a bfp xx.

Hubby is now really unwell. Today is my last day of ovulation. We managed 2x this month grrrr. Thursday and Sunday. Am I still fertile afterwards? I reckon this month is a no go for me. Arghhhhh. He is working tonight into tomorrow. Then off until Wednesday afternoon.

I hate our shifts.

NewlymrsB Mon 31-Mar-14 12:03:27

Sorry to hear that Drew! Fingers crossed some if his guys have stuck around!

I'm starting to think maybe I didn't ovulate this cycle...only cycle I haven't used Opks, typical hey!

MelMc73 Mon 31-Mar-14 13:07:57

Hello, just marking my place here TTC #1 with husband (we've one DS each separately, mine wasn't planned so this is all quite new!), CD6 of 2nd cycle TTC after coming off pill. Waiting for clearblue digital OPKs to arrive to assist! Fx to everyone this month!!

DrewsWife Mon 31-Mar-14 13:13:55

Hi Mel. Welcome! X

RPopz Mon 31-Mar-14 15:53:51

Well AF arrived so def on this April bus now!

myothernameiswashingherhair Mon 31-Mar-14 17:01:12

cycle 5 started yesterday here too! good luck everyone!

toothachereturns Mon 31-Mar-14 19:48:04

Positive opk today on cd12. grin

cowbiscuits Mon 31-Mar-14 21:12:54

Hello ladies can I join you?

In my two week wait here. month 3 ttc #2, my little boy is 18 months.
On cd 24 today. Not sure when AF is due because my periods are not back to normal yet (stopped pill in November) have had a 33 day then a 24 day cycle. So if it's a short cycle AF could turn up any day now.

I'm very impatient. Wish I could just not think about it, setting myself up for disappointment. Determined not to POS before cd30 (sunday).

Good luck everyone.

wiltingfast Mon 31-Mar-14 22:57:00

Hi, can I join? Just got af sad so am just starting cycle 4 of TTC #3.

Had a lot of mid cycle pain, was afraid I'd produce twins (eeek!) But now worried I didn't ovulate at all not over analysing at all

DrewsWife Tue 01-Apr-14 01:37:39

Welcome along. grin

Am just hitting count day 13. Had ovulation marker for two days so only managed to dtd 2 times due to shifts and hubby being unwell. No hope for us this month. hmm Ah well. Always may lol

Zermatt Tue 01-Apr-14 05:58:33

Hello smile

I'm ttc #1, cycle 4 and on cd14, have had positive opk for 3 days in a row, initially started out this month doing smep, but the 3 positives have thrown me off! Good luck all.

MelMc73 Tue 01-Apr-14 06:16:33

Morning all...cowbiscuits I'm in same boat regarding the pill (December)...strange cycles too. My clear blue opk arrived yesterday and it says to start testing today which is cd7 so I'm off to poas!

victoria401 Tue 01-Apr-14 10:25:25

Cd4 and stopped bleeding already, bonus! Few more days of peace for DH before the dtd begins! Told him the plan and he was just like "do whatever you like" and he'll go along but... "its your obsession not mine". Not sure what to make of that.

RPopz Tue 01-Apr-14 10:38:36

Wow Vic. Not sure what I'd make of that either! They can be so bloody insensitive can't they. Me and Mr Rpopz had pretty serious words a couple if weeks ago about the fact it was me doing everything and him just "going along with it" He's kind of making the right noises at the moment but... not sure how long it'll last!

MelMc73 Tue 01-Apr-14 11:09:56

That's an odd thing to say Vic....I would be having a word with him! OPK didn't have a smiley face this morning.....try again tomorrow!

DrewsWife Tue 01-Apr-14 12:09:33

Negative words from Dps hurt. Is he maybe shielding himself from hurt. I know mine has been hurt at our not conceiving xx

DrewsWife Tue 01-Apr-14 12:13:58

Had an appointment with nurse for my smear yesterday. I'm still on yearly smears thanks to cancer cells in 2012. Glad I never miss those awful smears! Had major amounts of laser treatment. Thankfully didn't need more than three lots of that!

Nurse was faaaab. She is old school and told me to fling my fee against the wall if that's what I want to do. Ignore the young docs. Oh and here is a basal temp chart lol.

Tips on making sure that hubby comes inside me grin. Make sure not to pressure him too much. have sex as often as you want and can.

And other stuff. She was brilliant. She also suggested reflexology too. Haven't broached that one yet as I'm not keen on my feet being touched grin

victoria401 Tue 01-Apr-14 13:00:13

Drew! Do it! Reflexology is amazing! I'm a convert to having my feet touched! I come out feeling relaxed with a spring in my step :-)

DrewsWife Tue 01-Apr-14 13:09:36

A realllllly stupid question. I ovulated last night. Am I still fertile?? Do I still have a chance??

Zermatt Tue 01-Apr-14 13:48:57

I think the egg lasts for 12-24 hours, so yes, still a chance (although I always wonder how long it takes those spermies to swim to the egg)

DrewsWife Tue 01-Apr-14 15:31:45

Well missed the boat. Hubby still unwell. No point starting my 2 week wait now is there.

Just about ready for work. Am only on til midnight. Thankfully and then off tomorrow night.

RPopz Tue 01-Apr-14 21:28:05

Its funny you're all talking about reflexology today! I was researching it last night, debating having some done. The scientist in me doesn't want to believe it'll have any effect at all but I've read so many good things about it on here!! Can't hurt eh?

Drew did you dtd before you ovulated because I think the couple of days before hand are better than the actual day! X

Zermatt Wed 02-Apr-14 02:18:11

I had reflexology for the first time at the weekend and can highly recommend it. The lady explained to me at waht point on my feet/ankle the ovaries and fallopian tube are, the massage was really relaxing and she said at the end that she hadnt felt anything unusual in my reproductive areas, and had done a hormone balancing bit for me at the end. I will go again next month, more for the relaxing part than for anything else.

JacktheLab Wed 02-Apr-14 06:57:29

HI there, I might just join you guys if that's okay? I'm waiting for af to show up, anytime before Friday so I still have a stupid hope that it might just not turn up and I'd be getting an early xmas present!

I jumped my husband the day before ov was supposed to have happened, but no really had any signs to indicate that we were successful this month sad

How do you guys feel about an xmas baby if you are successful in April? My son was about a week early in 2011 and given my dates that would mean almost certainly a very early January due date, not sure whether to sit this round out and start trying again in May. Mind in a years time I don't think I will be so fussed about timings if we still don't have a baby on the way!

DrewsWife Wed 02-Apr-14 07:35:13

Rpopz. Friday and Sunday. blush That's all. Eeeeeeek

RPopz Wed 02-Apr-14 08:09:41

It only takes one Drew ;-) x

MelMc73 Wed 02-Apr-14 09:21:30

Morning folks.....and welcome to JacktheLab!

Having a bit of a stressful week so far. My DS's father has decided to needlessly raise a court action for contact.....a massive inconvenience and stress when we are TTC! I got intimation that he's applied for legal aid so had to go to see a solicitor yesterday to go through the history of it all. It's very convoluted but the upshot is that I have never refused contact, he's just been extremely inconsistent which isn't really in the best interests of DS who is only 7. The other problem is that he lives 250 miles away! Effing idiot. It's going to cost us a fortune in solicitors fees as well. Effing twat. Sorry.....angryranting!

We're going away with the caravan on Sunday for a week's holiday to Northumberland so I am desperately waiting for a smiley face on the digital opk before we go lol.....dtd in the caravan is not really an option/practical lol!

drewswife you might still be okay if you dtd on Sunday and Ov'd on Monday as the swimmers can last 3-5 days......fx!!

DrewsWife Wed 02-Apr-14 09:54:59

Mel I don't envy you that. My years of exP raising needless court orders and thankfully behind me.

As long as you can prove he hasn't been denied access then I can't see why he should get legal aid. But the idiots always get their way eh. hmm

RPopz Wed 02-Apr-14 18:13:35

Afternoon ladies, hope we're all well. My fertility monitor got delivered this morning but I was at work so now its gone to the sorting office aargh!

toothachereturns Wed 02-Apr-14 18:30:16

We too are suffering from needless court cases.... Dhs ex doesn't want his to dds anywhere near me (oh the cliché). We've had 3 yrs and thousands of pounds worth of court time.... next court date in June. We have decided we can't put our life on hold anymore so ttc despite it all!

Anyhoo.... Awful IBS pains today. This happened last month around ovulation too. very sore. sad Hardly making me want to dtd.
Anyone else get this?

toothachereturns Wed 02-Apr-14 18:30:58

Rpopz - how annoying!

RPopz Wed 02-Apr-14 18:39:46

I know right. Only got til tomorrow to start using it before its too late for this cycle as well! angry

victoria401 Wed 02-Apr-14 18:51:01

tooth I get about 3 days of pains around ov. Feels like a huge bubble stuck in my lower left side. Makes doing a wee hurt never mind doing the deed! Why are our bodies so weird like this?

rpopz what does a fertility monitor do? Do I need one?! (don't say monitor fertility!) [Wink]

RPopz Wed 02-Apr-14 19:01:34

Ha Victoria that is the perfect way to describe it!

Its a clearblue one, just a fancy opk I think, but it monitors another hormone as well as LH so it tells you 5 fertile days rather than one... Some how! Another thing to pee on/ in!

DrewsWife Wed 02-Apr-14 19:31:27

I have been using the clearblue monitor too. It's really helped me identify my days. The first month you will use it every single day so it gets to know you. Months after that will use about 10. I have used it 3 months now and I love it.

I start just after my period. And hubby and I love to put the stick in the monitor and watch. Lol.

Using the opk they only give
Me a couple of days info and even at that I'm confused by them.

RPopz Wed 02-Apr-14 19:38:58

I'm hoping it does the trick for us otherwise I'll seriously start worrying!

DrewsWife Wed 02-Apr-14 19:40:00

I'm hoping so. But will likely be next month. I still like using it. Gives me a feeling of having some control over this grin

RPopz Wed 02-Apr-14 19:48:00

Yeah I think that's what I need too, some control!

JacktheLab Thu 03-Apr-14 07:14:31

Thanks for the welcome everyone grin

My period is due sat no signs of pregnancy and test this morning was negative so losing hope sad

On the plus side I am planning to eat a bucket of pate and drink some decent coffee when the fat lady sings!

Hope everyone has a good day today and those with ex issues get them sorted quickly

MelMc73 Thu 03-Apr-14 08:35:05

Victoria I have just got a fertility monitor as well and started using it on Tuesday....so far no smiley faces...but I do feel more in control especially since my cycle hasn't settled down after coming off the pill. I'm using it everyday until we go away on holiday on Sunday and hoping something happens in that time to indicate I'll OV before we go! Otherwise we might just need to skip this month and try again next month.

victoria401 Thu 03-Apr-14 10:23:20

So these monitors, how long do they last? And how much do they cost?

victoria401 Thu 03-Apr-14 10:25:02

Omg

victoria401 Thu 03-Apr-14 10:26:40

Just looked them up on amazon! They cost a small fortune and all sorts of stuff comes up. Digital ov, 20 pack - so are they single use?!

DrewsWife Thu 03-Apr-14 11:11:29

Saw the monitor for £50. Yes they are single use. But they are worth it. To know exactly when you ovulate is worth it in my opinion

DrewsWife Thu 03-Apr-14 11:11:48

Sticks are single use not the monitor

RPopz Thu 03-Apr-14 12:12:42

I got the monitor off ebay for 57 quid (in boots they are 167!!!). It lasts as long as you want to use it I think! The sticks you pee on are single use, they're about 20 quid for 20... you use less as time goes on and it "learns" your cycle. Are you contemplating one Victoria? X

RPopz Thu 03-Apr-14 12:14:47

Search "clearblue fertility monitor" - you do get a lot of nonsense coming up... the actual monitor looks like a little smartphone/ computer tho. The sticks are just like opks I think. X

wiltingfast Thu 03-Apr-14 13:46:38

Ah, interesting, have been thinking about an opk this month but got very confused in the shop. They seemed to say they were no good for someone with pcos?

I got a pcos diagnosis years and years ago and before ttc took dianette for it, but never had cysts and no trouble conceiving the first two darlings so not sure I really have pcos iyswim... main symptoms are hairy chin/neck and male pattern thinning hair.

Not sure whether to buy or not.... anyone else got pcos?

wiltingfast Thu 03-Apr-14 13:48:16

Hmm, googling it seems like since I do have regular periods it is worth a try....

victoria401 Thu 03-Apr-14 15:27:36

I think with pcos you sometimes get elevated LH levels (which is the hormone detected by opks --in case you didn't know already--) so maybe that's why they're not suitable. But I have been diagnosed with elevated LH so prob no point in my buying a monitor. I've not got pcos though as ive had a scan. Mystery. I've bought opks this month just to have a go and see what it shows. DH was moaning about the £9 I paid for them never mind £60+!

MelMc73 Thu 03-Apr-14 15:36:54

This is the one I have Victoria....http://www.amazon.co.uk/Clearblue-Advanced-Digital-Ovulation-Test--Pack/dp/B00BSNL77I/ref=sr_1_1?s=drugstore&ie=UTF8&qid=1396535481&sr=1-1&keywords=clearblue+ovulation+test

wiltingfast Thu 03-Apr-14 17:22:15

Ah I see, thank you victoria!

Fwiw, I have no cysts, they diagnosed it on the basis of hormonal tests. Must be 15y ago now though. Think I might give them a go and see. I'm cd6 now so better get a move on... has to be better than peering at my pants every morning!

wiltingfast Thu 03-Apr-14 17:26:13

oh and if you take your basal body temp, is that just orally with an ordinary thermometre bit dim here?

RPopz Thu 03-Apr-14 19:29:06

Regarding your much earlier question Victoria... the clearblue fertility monitor says I am on cycle day 3 as period started on Monday... my period tracker app says I am on cycle day 4... So who knows how you're supposed to count!!

MelMc73 Fri 04-Apr-14 10:39:15

wiltingfast its a basal temperature thermometer you need....they are more accurate. I've seen them on amazon....

DrewsWife Fri 04-Apr-14 10:55:51

Rpopz you go by first day of period.

I use apps too but I don't find them accurate.

First day of period is day one.

RPopz Fri 04-Apr-14 11:19:48

Well this is what confuses me... the app is right, its the clear blue that seems to be counting wrong! However, I looked in instructions last night and it does say it may do that! :-s

toothachereturns Fri 04-Apr-14 18:45:01

tis all very confusing! !! According to my app I'm 3 dpo and officially on the 2ww! I'll poas next Friday morning though.... I have no willpower!
Plus DH is getting his dcs for 6 days over Easter hols from next Saturday And since there's a court order to keep them away from their wicked stepmum angry he has to move back to his flat for that week!! Would be good to get a BFP before he goes. smile

victoria401 Sat 05-Apr-14 14:00:47

This is a very quiet thread... Guess its coz most of us haven't even ovd yet! The 'fun' part is the symptom spotting 2ww I guess!

Cd8 today and just sitting back sipping grapefruit juice sure its giving me ulcers on my tongue waiting to start smep tonight! Feeling much chirpier as spotting has finally stopped and this month is a new month and a new start :-)

DrewsWife Sat 05-Apr-14 14:06:53

I'm on my 2ww. I'm the only one so far. wink

Tranquilitybaby Sat 05-Apr-14 14:18:43

I am as well, due to test around 13 April x

victoria401 Sat 05-Apr-14 14:50:42

Oh I'm left behind!

RPopz Sat 05-Apr-14 14:52:39

I'm on day 5/6 so a while to go yet! Yoyoing between happy positive new month vibes and dread of my next AF already... Start using my clearblue tomorrow which I'm quite excited about... how sad is that!! X

Pickles79 Sat 05-Apr-14 14:58:53

I'm also on the 2ww
Due a BFP on 10th

JacktheLab Sat 05-Apr-14 15:44:33

Sorry ladies I'm out, onto the May bus when it starts up...best of luck to the rest of you all though smile

Hey ladies...been taking a back seat until hitting the prime time. Sorry to hear some are out already. Lets hope you have your bfp next month x

Im on cd15 and having irregular cycles dont help. I had a positive opk on tuesday but next day was negative, dont really know what to make out of it. I got a dip in temp this morning so lets see if tomorrow it goes up. Yikess! This is defo hard work!

So those already in 2ww any news? Symtoms? Or bpf Yet!! smile

victoria401 Sat 05-Apr-14 19:11:50

It'll be you and me at the bitter end rpopz :-)

RPopz Sat 05-Apr-14 19:18:30

Woop!

Is anyone using preseed? Do you use it as the packaging says? Mine arrived this morning.... the instruction leaflet is deeply unsexy!!

DrewsWife Sat 05-Apr-14 19:42:05

I got one that looks like a bottle of crappy teenage aftershave. Think ck one white bottle that you twist round and spray. But there is noooooooo way I'm spraying it near my hoo ha.

I sprayed it once to test it and it hit his face. grin He wasn't impressed.

RPopz Sat 05-Apr-14 19:52:13

Oh this is in a tube... but with "applicators" big long plastic ones.... think you're supposed to squirt it all the way up there, before any dtd action gets under way! DH was like "ooh lube, we can have fun with that" I don't think so... lol

toothachereturns Sun 06-Apr-14 15:57:03

What's preseed!??
I am officially on the 2 ww too! I'm due to test on the 12th. grin

RPopz Sun 06-Apr-14 17:45:58

Its a lubricant toothache , but its not harmful to sperm as its manufactured to be similar to cervical mucous.... so might even give the swimmers a helping hand!!

DrewsWife Mon 07-Apr-14 10:30:35

Well I lost my temper at work big time. I'm angry and ready to quit my job. Possible symptom. Lolol.

RPopz Mon 07-Apr-14 11:00:33

Eek, what happened? X

DrewsWife Mon 07-Apr-14 11:26:51

A bit of a mix. I work constant nights. It's really busy. I booked a night off on Friday. So got annual leave approved so instead of taking me off the rota for one day he just moved my working week.

What is the point of booking annual leave. I used to work 5-6 nights. Dropped it down to 4. So I should work 3 nights this week with an annual leave day off. Instead I'm in 4 nights.

I don't like working Sundays. I am a Sunday school leader. But he swapped me to working last night.

I'm full of rage over a simple thing. A simple thing. angry I'm totally being unreasonable. I know that. He has done the same for next week. I booked mondays off. So he just swapped my days around grrrrrr.

Also we are training a new girl up. She is lovely. smile But he put her and the other girl on until 12 and I was left on my own from 12-230. Had he had one on 12 and one on 1am finish is have been out at 145.

I'm usure why I'm soooooo angry. I just am. Hubby is away to work and I forgot he was working today. So I burst into tears when I realised.

Had a rant at a workman who showed up to check my loft insulation without an appointment. He said something about I had to give him access an I blew.

victoria401 Mon 07-Apr-14 17:39:05

Sorry to hear work is bad drew. Don't get me started on what just happened to me today too. Am so fecking angry and crying at the same time!

RPopz Mon 07-Apr-14 17:55:20

You been feeling like that a while Drew? I often feel like that mostly due to depression. Ttc takes its toll mentally as well as physically.

Uh oh, you okay Vic?

victoria401 Mon 07-Apr-14 19:54:01

Calmed down and its like crap and nothing now. Don't worry :-)

victoria401 Mon 07-Apr-14 20:53:25

Been depressed lately too. Started with the 2 week spotting. Lots of little things built to 'the end of the world'! Hubby's SA delay, spotting, argument with hubby over the weekend and feeling dejected etc. Today we got told there is an 'informal' meeting tomorrow about proposed new working hours to meet the needs of the hospital, which will involve working eve and weekends on shifts not what I signed up for and then I find out that the buses are changing for the worse next week. Me and colleague on bus home tonight got told by the driver "oh by the way this bus won't be going this way as of next week". Great, thanks very much bus company. Came home and swore and cried. I like my job but now I might have to work stupid times and have even more trouble getting there in the first place! Never rains but it pours yes?

RPopz Mon 07-Apr-14 21:05:13

Think I would've reacted the same way tbh! Does sound like a shower of shite! Hope you and hubby have made up, sounds like you need a hug X

Pickles79 Mon 07-Apr-14 21:28:36

AF is due tomorrow. I had a weird metal taste in my mouth on Saturday and have felt dizzy every time I stand up for the last two days. Not sure if they mean anything but hoping so!

victoria401 Mon 07-Apr-14 22:33:08

Good luck pickles!

DrewsWife Tue 08-Apr-14 01:39:13

Tonight I bought frozen baked potatoes.

Don't judge me lol

victoria401 Tue 08-Apr-14 07:48:31

Haha! drew!

Decided I feel crap about moaning about my life yesterday. I've got my reasonable health, my hubby, a job, roof over my head, no one's died.

However we do have a meeting this afternoon about proposed working hours and I prob will be sad and angry again later. And of course we have the threat of being down banded on pay next year hanging over our heads. Are you having this many problems at work rpopz? It will be effectively more work for less pay as our sample load is a few 1000 up on last year already!

Thing is why I'm upset and angry. Finally get to a place in my career where I think we can afford a child then find out why are having trouble and tests, then they want to change our shifts and pay us less!

SassehMonsta Tue 08-Apr-14 08:17:21

Been JS-ing for months, and finally got a bfp on Saturday. Never felt happier!

RPopz Tue 08-Apr-14 09:42:59

Lol Drew - I was bitching to someone about those stoopid potatoes just yesterday haha! Hope they were yummy ;-)

Vic, I didn't think the NHS could downgrade you? I'm a 6, department is mostly 6s but as they leave they're being replaced by 5s. And 5s don't automatically progress to being 6s eventually anymore (which in our trust they used to). Have heard rumour the lab manager wants a 50/50 split between them now. We moved into a new multidisciplinary building a while back and our core hours were changed to 8-8 Mon- Sun! So theoretically they could ask us to work anytime! I work in a 9-5 dept though luckily, nothing too urgent, so not much call for those hours. But I also work on the clin chem out of hours rota so I have to work nights and weekends sometimes anyway! That's voluntary though... allegedly. I know exactly what you mean though, everything at the moment is them wanting more for less. Deskilling everything. Kinda depressing when you think how we studied for the job! Fx its not as bad as it sounds for you this aft x

DrewsWife Tue 08-Apr-14 12:07:39

Sasseh. Huge congratulations x grin

victoria401 Tue 08-Apr-14 12:40:57

They can downgrade us a sneaky way rpopz....

Our lab is merging with another next year and we've seen the workforce planning document! There seems to be suspiciously the same amount of band 5's needed to man new lab as there are currently band 5+6 put together. The talk is that we'll have to re-apply for a 5 post, that's how they get around downgrading. I'll prob get pay protection for 12-24 month max. DH only on a 3 so can't live off his wage. Always knew he would be the one to give up work if needed. That makes me sad too as I'd love to be stay at home mum like my mum.

Congrats to sasseh who ever you are ;-). X

Pickles79 Tue 08-Apr-14 12:53:50

Thank you Victoria401
I'm going to get a test tomorrow if AF doesn't arrive by the morning smile

DrewsWife Tue 08-Apr-14 14:01:43

Well I said I wouldn't symptom spot..... But......

My roseacea appears to have cleared this morning. My skin is lovely and clear. smile

RPopz Tue 08-Apr-14 14:46:27

Good luck Pickles!

How long for you Drew?

That's super fucking sneaky Vic. Gutted. We're in same boat if I'm honest, DH earns much less than me so if anyone is staying at home it'd be him....

DrewsWife Tue 08-Apr-14 15:09:04

I'm due AF in a week I think.

cowbiscuits Tue 08-Apr-14 15:26:31

Hello all

I'm still hanging on. On day 33 now and still no AF. Had a bfn on Saturday, have vowed not to test again until tomorrow morning.

Thought AF was coming a few days ago but those symptoms (sore boobs, bloatedness etc) seem to have lessened.

Will see what tomorrow brings.

DrewsWife Tue 08-Apr-14 15:28:19

Good luck biscuits. smile

DrewsWife Tue 08-Apr-14 16:39:25

Well I just resigned. blush Had enough. Absolutely had enough. 2 weeks notice will hand it in tonight

RPopz Tue 08-Apr-14 16:42:20

Crikey Drew!

RPopz Tue 08-Apr-14 16:45:14

How dyou feel??

DrewsWife Tue 08-Apr-14 17:05:38

Angry as he won't listen to my views. Valid or not. It's his way or none. I hate being treated like a kid. I have no right to a life outside of work incase it even remotely impacts on potential rotas

toothachereturns Tue 08-Apr-14 19:32:07

Good for you Drew! Sounds like an utterly shit situation! xx

toothachereturns Tue 08-Apr-14 19:34:43

Good luck for the morning Pickles and Biscuits!!!
I'm not due AF for another 9 days. Going to test on Friday even tho it's early as DH has to leave to go back to the flat for a week with his Dds and pretend I don't exist. Not allowed near wicked stepmum. hmm

victoria401 Tue 08-Apr-14 20:14:21

And I'm only just ovulating!

RPopz Tue 08-Apr-14 20:53:07

I'm not even there yet Victoria! Sloooow lol.

Good luck everyone x

victoria401 Tue 08-Apr-14 21:32:08

Got a pos opk today and loads of ewcm! Jumping on DH tonight! First month of using opks and started on cd8 as early ov last month. Just as well as only cd11 today! Feel diff this month and think I have some pains on the right not the left as normal. Maybe the right one will work better!?

RPopz Tue 08-Apr-14 22:04:21

Have fun! ;-)

toothachereturns Tue 08-Apr-14 23:14:32

Maybe Victoria. Enjoy! wink

Pickles79 Tue 08-Apr-14 23:29:40

Erm, couldn't wait for the morning a just poas. It's positive!

Pickles79 Tue 08-Apr-14 23:30:54

And not a!! Typing too fast!

Pickles79 Tue 08-Apr-14 23:32:49

Very faint

Tranquilitybaby Wed 09-Apr-14 00:18:33

Woo hoo congrats!! X

Pickles79 Wed 09-Apr-14 00:20:15

Thank you smile I'm in shock! Am I going crazy or can you see it too?

DrewsWife Wed 09-Apr-14 00:40:13

Pickles!!! How faaaab! Am so excited for you x.

Pickles79 Wed 09-Apr-14 00:59:29

Thank you Drew. My mind is racing, no sleep for me tonight. Desperate to tell DP but he's working nights. Plus I sort of like the idea of only myself knowing for now. Aside from all of you haha.

DrewsWife Wed 09-Apr-14 01:58:13

Went to work tonight and they wouldn't accept my resignation. blush So seems like I'm stuck. Thinks I'm under a huge amount of pressure.

Tranquilitybaby Wed 09-Apr-14 07:57:04

Drew they have to, they can't refuse x

https://www.gov.uk/handling-staff-resignations

RPopz Wed 09-Apr-14 08:00:15

How can they refuse your resignation???

Congrats pickles, can def see it!!

DrewsWife Wed 09-Apr-14 08:19:49

I am quietly looking for something else. Refusing to do extra hours. Screw that. I'm going on a craft weekend on Friday down to Rochdale. And only 4 weeks til Malta. I just need to get through.

cowbiscuits Wed 09-Apr-14 11:32:24

Congrats pickles!

I'm out for April. Took test this morning (day 34) negative of course, then AF decided to arrive several hours later. Waste of a test again! Oh well.

toothachereturns Wed 09-Apr-14 15:47:25

Congrats Pickles! !! grin

Aw thats pants Biscuits.... May will be the month! smile

Drew - yeah just keep your head down, no favours and keep looking for something better. smile

toothachereturns Wed 09-Apr-14 15:53:27

I'm on cd 21 (or 22 depending on which app I look at!). More importantly I'm 9 dpo. I have no symptoms of pregnancy. But it's too early right? confused

toothachereturns Wed 09-Apr-14 15:53:50

My cycles are pretty much 28/29 days.

RPopz Wed 09-Apr-14 17:20:13

Too early!! Think 10dpo is the earliest, so don't torture yourself!

Omg I'm only cd8 and already worrying about tww....

wiltingfast Wed 09-Apr-14 18:00:42

congrats pickles! great to see a bfp grin

just realised i'm cd11 and have totally forgotten to do my new opk, it's not too late is it? never used it before... how do you count the cds again, cd 1 is first day of af yes? hmmm... confused!

Work sounds crap Drew, at least you have a break to look forward to?

Am with RPoz on trying not to torture yourselfs toothachereturns but we all know it's hard grin

DrewsWife Wed 09-Apr-14 18:32:02

Ok so I am not testing as I don't think this is the month for me.... But if I should start symptom spotting... I am 10 days post ovulation and due AF in a week is that right???

toothachereturns Wed 09-Apr-14 18:39:03

Drewswife - you and I are almost in sync! grin

DrewsWife Wed 09-Apr-14 19:05:24

When are you testing? I haven't had any of my usual mid cycle bleeds. blush So not sure whether that's good or bad.

toothachereturns Wed 09-Apr-14 19:28:11

I'm going to test on Friday I think. With dd I got a positive at 11dpo.
Maybe having no mid cycle bleed is a sign! I suppose any change in cycle could be good news. smile

sooperdooper Wed 09-Apr-14 19:31:10

I'm 4 days late, but just did a test and negative..... Grr been really regular lately too, hmmmm

toothachereturns Wed 09-Apr-14 20:05:38

Aw sooper. Might still be pg?

RPopz Wed 09-Apr-14 21:47:50

Fx sooper and drew! X

sooperdooper Wed 09-Apr-14 21:51:42

I'll leave it a couple of days and try again, is it really best to test in the morning? I did it when I got home this evening, god I'm such an amateur, I don't know what I'm doing!! I don't even know what all the abbreviations everyone's using mean?? grin

RPopz Wed 09-Apr-14 22:19:30

Better to do in the morning as your urine will be most concentrated.

Think there's a glossary for the mumsnet abbreviations somewhere! You just pick them up as you go along though!

DrewsWife Thu 10-Apr-14 09:49:06

Well poas today. Even though I know in out but still negative. So hurry up May lol

toothachereturns Thu 10-Apr-14 20:46:43

Next month will be it! smile
I'm going to poas tomorrow morning. That will be 10dpo and 6 days before af due. But I'm getting tell tale signs of impending af. sad

toothachereturns Fri 11-Apr-14 07:33:22

bfn the morning. fleeting moment of excitement when a faint line appeared immediately. ..... only to disappear when I checked after a couple of minutes. sad That'll teach me for sitting watching it!!!!!

Tranquilitybaby Fri 11-Apr-14 08:00:45

Bfn for me too this morning with an internet cheapie test. 12dpo so may still too early but not confident really.

toothachereturns Fri 11-Apr-14 08:04:45

I'm not confident either. The disappointment this morning almost made me cry. I'll try again on Sunday. Good luck to you. x

wiltingfast Fri 11-Apr-14 09:26:00

Oh, fingers crossed for you all, good luck. I should be ovulating around now but not feeling it and opks negative so far sad

victoria401 Fri 11-Apr-14 11:55:31

Well guys that's it, I'm in the 2ww.

Dtd cd9, 11 and 13 only. Pos opk cd11. Only cd14 today but expecting another 26 day cycle like last month as ovd cd12 then too. So I guess bfp/af in order of preference as getting seriously impatient and fed up now April 23-24ish.

RPopz Fri 11-Apr-14 12:35:33

Did you do smep Vic? Good luck! X

victoria401 Fri 11-Apr-14 12:45:01

No we didn't, meant to start that on cd8 but it was morning on cd9 the first time. Were still going to do EOD tho and we did but only 3 times!. Didn't think I'd ov that early as it was as late as cd18 2 cycles ago and coz last month was short I was expecting this one to be long!

RPopz Fri 11-Apr-14 13:27:26

Eod? We're doing smep (Mr Rpopz doesn't know though... ha!) Started on cd8 but my cycles are 32-35 days so have no idea when I'll ov! Could be a tiring month!! X

victoria401 Fri 11-Apr-14 15:30:02

I told DH we were doing it and he was all like "do whatever". Smep dictated start on cd8 and then dtd every other day until pos opk then do it every day for ?days cant remember 2/3 then miss a day and do it once more for luck. That's based on 'normal' 28day cycle I think. I guess doing it 9, 11 and 13 was ok instead of 8, 10 and 12?! Who knows! Should have done it on 12 after the pos opk but was just knackered and can't do it again as dh is away for a few nights now. [Sad]

RPopz Fri 11-Apr-14 16:51:49

Oooh EOD is every other day! I thought it was some other fancy plan!!

victoria401 Fri 11-Apr-14 21:46:15

Another lab baby announced on facebook. The 5th since we've been ttc and 2 have been born already with another due by c section next week. I've obviously not been sitting in the magic chair or something?

RPopz Fri 11-Apr-14 22:04:29

:-( Yeah there's a lot of preggers bms' s round here too! There's a girl I work with who's been talking really loudly about trying for kids straight after she gets married for ages. She's an attention seeking cow anyway, I ccan't stand her. Anyway they got married in Oct but think they're just starting ttc now juding by all the SHHH ITS A SECRET shit she's been doing recently. If she gets up duffed before me I think I will lose my shit! DH is all "well its not a competition" I know its not a fucking competition....

Anyway, that was my really roundabout way of saying I know how you feel! Chin up love x

RPopz Fri 11-Apr-14 23:13:00

Actually I feel like a bit of a twat saying that. I don't know how you feel. I know how I feel at 7 months. Can't imagine how you feel. Anyway. Stay away from the fb gloaters x

victoria401 Sat 12-Apr-14 08:42:19

Don't worry about it rpopz I'm not going to bite your head off :-)

You know, I really just thought it would happen. Like it seems to just happen to most people. It was after month 9 I started to think uh-oh. Doc didn't seem concerned then of course. Month 15 I went back begging for tests and I don't even really know the significance of the results I've got. Increased LH (its meant to be a 1:1 ratio with FSH) but not PCOS? Mystery. Or is DH going to have a problem? Been waiting 8 weeks so far without even an appointment date let alone results after the b@#£%&ds forgot to send his referral letter!

I do just feel like giving up, but then I think come on just one more month, stay strong. But feels like I'm falling apart a little bit now. I'm very teary these last few weeks, very down, very 'i can't be bothered to do anything'.

I hope you lot don't have to go through much longer of this, I wouldn't wish this feeling of failure on anyone.

RPopz Sat 12-Apr-14 09:20:57

Yeah I remember being a tiny bit surprised it didn't just happen in the first month! These last 2 months I've been really anxious about it, but I have issues with anxiety generally anyway which I guess doesn't help.

That's shit you're still waiting for an appointment. Its so frustrating just waiting around, not knowing. The not knowing is the worst thing I think!

Its perfectly understandable you're feeling depressed. Its a lonely adventure. Really hope you get there soon x

MelMc73 Sun 13-Apr-14 20:09:17

Hi everyone - back from our holidays and I am gutted as AF came AGAIN....on CD18!! WTF is going on. I thought it was just spotting as it started really light on Friday, still wasn't convinced yesterday but today it is definitely AF!! What is my body doing? That pill has really messed up my cycle and it is impossible to predict......Cycle 1 was 40 days, cycle 2 was 26 days and this one 17 days.......I seriously cannot be ovulating properly or at all for that matter :-( I was doing the clear blue tests from CD7 as per the instructions up until we went away on holiday and didn't get any smiley faces. I'll try it again this month and see what happens and if it's another "silly" cycle then I'm going to the docs!! Hope everyone else is having better results......

DrewsWife Sun 13-Apr-14 23:50:52

Mel go to Gp. But it can take time for chemicals to come out of your system.

Well I'm waiting on AF. Been queasy all day. And sore boobs but seriously think it's pre AF as same happened last month.

Am at tail end of my crafty weekend away. Realllly relaxed and chilled out now x

RPopz Mon 14-Apr-14 09:37:58

Glad you're feeling a bit better now Drews!

toothachereturns Mon 14-Apr-14 10:14:04

I've been feeling queasy with sore boobs too. But I had my first horseriding lesson in 15 yrs yesterday so today EVERYTHING hurts! So, very hard to tell. Due af in 3 days tho. Had a BFN on Saturday morming. sad

MelMc73 Mon 14-Apr-14 12:58:22

tooth - I started back horseriding at the end of January after about 7 years.....it was agony to start with but the good news is that it gets easier!!

DrewsWife Mon 14-Apr-14 16:03:49

Just home after 5 hour drive. Having a snoooooooze then taking teen to choir.

Will need to empty the car of crafty goodies. But that can wait.

Tooth we are in synch aren't we?? I have AF on Thursday. Waiting for it to arrive so I can start again! winkgrin

toothachereturns Mon 14-Apr-14 17:36:18

I cant believe how unfit I've become! !!

Yeah Drewswife we are in sync. Have you definitely discounted this month?

victoria401 Mon 14-Apr-14 17:36:43

5dpo, feeling nauseous and didn't even fancy wine last night! Too early to be a symptom, prob something I ate. Have had like a bubbly tummy too, like trapped wind but no escaping wind! Lol!

Day off work for my bday and the weather is amazing! Been round a national trust property like the old fogie I now am! Haha! Back to work tomorrow tho, boo, but only for 3 days then another long weekend, woo!

toothachereturns Mon 14-Apr-14 17:45:37

Today I feel like i need to pee all the time! I think it may be cystitis. Grrrrreat! sad

DrewsWife Mon 14-Apr-14 18:01:08

I think I have. I too can't stop peeing. But just been away on a craft weekend and had a 5 hour drive. Also have a very windy bottom !! grin

Boobs are tender. Feel slightly sicky but am sure that happened last month

toothachereturns Mon 14-Apr-14 18:57:44

Isnt it cruel that these are also the symptoms of early pregnancy!?
I didn't feel like this last month but last months af was very different than normal as it was the first after having the mirena out. I cant actually remember what my normal af symptoms are other than horrible cramps. I'd had my coil in for more than 6 yrs!

DrewsWife Mon 14-Apr-14 20:00:23

My coil was removed in October. It was attached to my womb and had to be surgically removed. Had all my tests. So it all should in theory be fine

DrewsWife Tue 15-Apr-14 11:33:26

So waiting for AF. feeling pretty run down. Grrrrrr.

toothachereturns Tue 15-Apr-14 14:04:41

Me too. sad Feeling really crampy today. sad sad sad sad

Mikeysmum2906 Tue 15-Apr-14 14:15:17

Well think im 2dpo dtd twice at weekend on sat and sun hopefully it was enough too sore down there to do anymore last night lol. Hope youre all doing ok. Im already symptom spotting i have sore bbs but thats normal for me I think after ov.

RPopz Tue 15-Apr-14 14:16:59

Think I'm going to be here on my own at the end of the month! Not even ovd yet! Try and resist the symptom spotting ladies grin

madasacatter Tue 15-Apr-14 14:35:35

Can I join please?
Month 1 TTC # 2
Have DS who's 8
BFP due 20th April

I'm really confused by the whole cd thing, could someone please explain how that works?

I've bought some ovulation tests, but now I've seen some comments about knowing 'how' to read them - what's that all about? panic

ilovechops Tue 15-Apr-14 14:36:26

Hello, Can I join you! I am Month 3 TTC #2 with a 2yr old DD. I am 10DPO today (I think). Tested earlier only to get a BFN although it's possibly too early...definitely feel like the AF might jist be around the corner.

Anyone else 'convince' themselves they are pregnant every month and have loads of 'symptons'? I feel like I am going mad at times! Need to stop testing too soon...!

DrewsWife Tue 15-Apr-14 16:02:32

Hi to the new girls.

Lol @ stop symptom spottin. It's what we do wink.

I take day 1 as the first day of my period. I'm on day 24 today. I'm run down. Waves of nausea. And exhaustion. Peeing a lot and sore boobs. But I had all this last month. And am just awaiting my period.

toothachereturns Tue 15-Apr-14 16:56:59

Hello to the new ladies! I'm on cd26.... same symptoms as drewswife. Awaiting AF. sad

madasacatter Tue 15-Apr-14 17:33:55

Hello to all, thank you for the welcome smile

I think I'm on cd 23, as the first day of my last period was 24th March. I think I have a 27/28 day cycle, so when should I test?

It's been so long since I've had periods (about 7 years) that I've forgotten all of the symptoms and my boobs hurt loads, I'm also getting long hot flushes - is that normal? They started around the time I had my period, then stopped until about ovulation time, and now are back again confused

toothachereturns Tue 15-Apr-14 17:50:02

Madasacatter - an early test like first response might show a bfp now. But I wouldn't torture yourself. Ive done that for 2 cycles and it's stressful! smile

ilovechops Tue 15-Apr-14 19:14:20

I haven't worked out my days yet but just did and I am CD 28 today, my cycle is 31 days though. So I have 3 days until AF is due and if anything I would say symptoms are decreasing...boobs a bit tingly and dull ache in tummy that I have had for a week. Probs just PMS!

Madasacatter, I agree with toothachereturns, testing early is so stressful as you just tell yourself you still might be prego even if it's a BFN and if it's a light / faint BFP line It can sometimes end in an early miscarriage / chemical pregnancy which happened to me a couple of months ago. Really stressful. have made myself wait until 10DPO. How many days DPO are you or aren't you sure?

madasacatter Tue 15-Apr-14 22:29:36

I'm honestly not sure, I'm thinking that the clearblue ovulation tests will be the way to go maybe next cycle or the one after. I'm trying to be all calm and collected about it, but realistically I've been fretting since the day I had my implant removed blush

I have a load of supermarket cheapy tests for moments of weakness, but also got some first response ones today just in case I have a BFP and need to take a different test(s) to be sure! Am I crazy??

RPopz Wed 16-Apr-14 10:51:11

Smiley face day today and DH is working all day and I am working all night! Bum. angry

MelMc73 Wed 16-Apr-14 10:55:11

Happy Hump Day wink!!

Hello to all the new ladies!

Hang in there rpopz....it might be your month!
madasacatter I got the clearblue tests last month but haven't really used them properly as I had a silly cycle which I'm putting down to stress. Will start using them again in a couple of days.

CD5 here. App says I should OV around CD9-CD12 so I'll start the OV tests on CD 7 I think....just to be sure! If this month doesn't work out then I'm going to start temping as well.

RPopz Wed 16-Apr-14 11:03:04

We dtd last night so am hoping that'll be enough!

DrewsWife Wed 16-Apr-14 11:12:30

Well no period as yet. Not showing normal signs much either. But not testing. Will wait it out.

I do feel very wet if that makes sense. Sorry if tmi.

madasacatter Wed 16-Apr-14 12:12:38

When was/is your period due Drew?

Fingers crossed for you

DrewsWife Wed 16-Apr-14 12:14:34

According to my app. Due yesterday. Day 27 on my monitor and desperate for jammy donuts hahaha

toothachereturns Wed 16-Apr-14 14:18:26

I am almost floored with cramps today. Much sorer than I remember before I ever had a coil. I'm contemplating taking painkillers. yeeouch. Af due tomorrow and the signs are all there. sad sad sad
Looks like I'm joining the BFP in May threads. Sigh. Good luck y'all!

Mikeysmum2906 Wed 16-Apr-14 14:23:58

Spanner in works im having surgery on my mouth in early May now panicking as this could be my bfp month anyone know if operations are ok at such early stages? Of course big assumption more likely a bfn but dunno yet for 2weeks arghhhh

DrewsWife Thu 17-Apr-14 09:34:47

No idea about the surgery. confused Think positive.

Well still no AF still have sore boobs. Had some cramping earlier so I must be due but tooooo chicken to test lol. Going to wait a few more days and see what happens.

I will not over think this. I will not over think this. I will not overthink this blush

toothachereturns Thu 17-Apr-14 09:39:08

Drewswife - no af here either but still have horrible cramps. I'm not even buying tests! I'm an obsessive poas-er. wink

DrewsWife Thu 17-Apr-14 10:47:15

I thought I had a spare cheapo test kicking about. But I don't. Very very tempted to nip to asda hahaha

victoria401 Thu 17-Apr-14 12:30:58

If you are late take a test Drew! Other ladies getting bfp on here all say they are getting cramps like af starting then getting pos result!

I'm getting funny symptoms but only 7/8 dpo. Ive had nausea the past 4 days and off coffee and wine. Too early to be symptoms tho! Wish it was! Not due til next wed/thurs. Taking too long!

DrewsWife Thu 17-Apr-14 12:42:25

Ok I will test in the morning as it needs to be first thing doesn't it. blush

I have just snarfed a fry up I feel a tiny bit queasy but not what is expect.

Tranquilitybaby Thu 17-Apr-14 12:51:20

Just test drew sounds promising! X

wiltingfast Thu 17-Apr-14 13:06:53

Ooo, sounds good Drew! Good luck grin

RPopz Thu 17-Apr-14 13:19:11

All sounds promising Drew! You're so good for not testing. Agree with Vic, I've seen loads of people on here who had AF type cramps and ended up with BFP!

Fx for everyone as usual! I'm in my 2ww now... or 3ww... whenever AF decides to show up this time... Hate this time of the month... angry

DrewsWife Thu 17-Apr-14 13:32:40

I think I just don't believe it's a possibility. If it was last month I think I would have tested several times. I feel wet. I know I'm not bleeding.

Both boobs mildly sore. Will pick up a test on my way home from work. I finish at midnight tonight. grin

How is everyone else getting on??

Fingers crossed for everyone. wink

ilovechops Thu 17-Apr-14 14:49:17

Good luck Drew hope it is a BFP in the morning for you!

I am DPO11 or 12 now (not sure exactly) but just did another test and still BFN, felt pregnant today, sore / tingling nipples (I don't get that normally), heavy feeling in uterus but that could just be pre AF. Needing a wee a lot! Anyway am gutted as oH and I tried sooo hard this month! Ah well got to keep trying and smiling :-)

toothachereturns Thu 17-Apr-14 17:34:49

Im out. AF started about an hour after I posted "no AF yet" sad sad
Good luck Drewswife! Sounds really positive! !!

DrewsWife Thu 17-Apr-14 21:13:43

Awe nooooo. So sorry toothache. Xx. hmm

victoria401 Thu 17-Apr-14 21:37:30

Sorry tooth :-(

RPopz Thu 17-Apr-14 21:54:31

Oh rubbish, sorry tooth sad

Have we had any April bfps?

toothachereturns Thu 17-Apr-14 22:03:01

Thanks all. ive joined the may thread now. smile I think Drewswife is my bet for a bfp!!

toothachereturns Thu 17-Apr-14 22:05:34

The positive I'm taking from this is that my cycles seem to have returned to their text book reliable 28 days like they were years ago before the coil, which makes predicting ovulation etc much easier! smile

DrewsWife Fri 18-Apr-14 00:38:08

Anyone about?? I peed on an ovulation stick. It was all I had and I couldn't be faffed with tesco at midnight.

Ok so back to the stick. I have a super faint line at the bottom and a stonking great bluer than blue line at the top. Any thoughts???

victoria401 Fri 18-Apr-14 08:23:14

You need to get a preg one hun x

DrewsWife Fri 18-Apr-14 09:11:07

Damn!! Means I have to go to the supermarket sad urghhhhh lol

RPopz Fri 18-Apr-14 10:29:33

Hope you've been to supermarket already!! opks won't work, diff hormone wink

DrewsWife Fri 18-Apr-14 10:40:12

No I haven't been. Sorry but I can't bring myself to believe it's a possibility. I'm scared to jinx it.

I'm going to wait a few more days incase AF is just late. Although we are at 3 days now.

I'm such an idiot I know!!!

RPopz Fri 18-Apr-14 10:44:02

No its fair enough, think I'd feel the same. Still impressed though!

toothachereturns Fri 18-Apr-14 11:49:19

opk sticks will show positive if you're pregnant! wink

toothachereturns Fri 18-Apr-14 11:50:01

different hormone but are so similar that opks can sometimes not tell thr difference.

RPopz Fri 18-Apr-14 16:28:23

Don't think thats true Tooth, sorry!

toothachereturns Fri 18-Apr-14 18:15:28

RPopz.... google it! opks pick up LH and HCG. It's not always reliable, but def can mean that you're pg.

toothachereturns Fri 18-Apr-14 18:16:02

I'm trying to post a link but my phone app is rubbish!

toothachereturns Fri 18-Apr-14 18:17:07

http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/ovulation-test-as-pregnancy-test.html

RPopz Fri 18-Apr-14 18:36:26

Ah fair enough! They must not work the way I thought they did! That is pretty dangerous information.... wink

DrewsWife Fri 18-Apr-14 18:46:11

I am resistin the urge to pop to the shops. I start work at 8 so off for shower and to get ready. Eeeeeek I am not about to go and google symptoms wink

toothachereturns Fri 18-Apr-14 19:26:34

lol RPopz.... I know. I had 9 +ve opks just after I had the coil out and I was convinced I was pg. sadly not tho... just a freaky cycle!

Drewswife - you're killing me.... GO BUY A TEST!!! grin

victoria401 Fri 18-Apr-14 19:57:52

I understand about waitingseveral days before testing though drewswife. I've had fairly regular cycles since ttc with the longest being 30 days. 2 months ago I had a 32 day cycle and got too excited. I got up early on the morning of the 32nd day to poas and it was bfn. Af visited by midday. Gutted. Wish I'd just waited one more day....

I've got cramps and twinges today and had nausea the past 4, not sure what it all means. I'm only day 21 and 8/9 dpo. Too early for SYMPTOMS!

DrewsWife Fri 18-Apr-14 20:30:10

I have slept all day and big nausea this evening. Am at work eeeeek. So fighting to look normal.

I have bank card so will go pick up a test. Boobs tender. Not outrageously sore

DrewsWife Sat 19-Apr-14 03:03:48

Pregnant!!!!!!!!!! Omg. I'm pregnant. I now need to go vomit! grinsmile

toothachereturns Sat 19-Apr-14 06:48:44

Yeeeaaaaah Congrats Drewswife. Knew it!!!!! grin grin grin grin grin grin

Tranquilitybaby Sat 19-Apr-14 07:44:01

Woo hoo congratulations! Wonderful news! Xxx

victoria401 Sat 19-Apr-14 08:43:33

I knew it! Woohoo! Congrats hunni!

DrewsWife Sat 19-Apr-14 08:51:18

Thanks ladies. Sorry for any insensitivity. But I am a little shocked.

What do I do now. Where do I go?? I can't say to anyone argh. confusedblush

victoria401 Sat 19-Apr-14 09:52:03

I have no idea hun, but you're not allowed to leave your own thread until the bitter end of April ;-)

RPopz Sat 19-Apr-14 10:07:48

Congrats!! Go tell DH maybe? wink xxx

DrewsWife Sat 19-Apr-14 11:08:09

I won't be leaving until you all tell me where you are!

DrewsWife Sat 19-Apr-14 11:10:12

Told hub at 4am and he hasn't stopped saying wow and rubbing his head! grin

RPopz Sat 19-Apr-14 11:11:14

Haha bless! Did you test at work then???

DrewsWife Sat 19-Apr-14 11:34:40

No I felt guilty at messing with tooths marbles and stressing her out so went and got a test and tested when I finished work at 230am. I'm exhausted but can't sleep grin

toothachereturns Sat 19-Apr-14 11:43:37

LOL!!! Thank you! grin
You need to join a "due in December" thread. What do you estimate your due date to be? if I'd has a bfp this month the baby would have been due on Boxing Day! smile

DrewsWife Sat 19-Apr-14 11:49:57

Oh crap!! December!! It's a mental month for me. confused

Where do I find that thread. Off to have a look for it now x.

Not abandoning you girls. Xx

victoria401 Sat 19-Apr-14 12:03:21

I guess if I got a bfp next week I'd be into Jan, thank goodness!

DrewsWife Sat 19-Apr-14 13:09:02

Fingers crosse Victoria x

victoria401 Sat 19-Apr-14 13:15:53

How are you rpopz? Where are you at?

RPopz Sat 19-Apr-14 13:28:17

3dpo so in my 2ww (or nearly 3ww in my silly cycles case!). Feeling super anxious sad x

Think I'm going to be here on my own at the end of April!!

toothachereturns Sat 19-Apr-14 15:10:20

Rpopz... you are probably creeping onto the BFP in May thread! On cd3 now, next AF due 14/15th May.
Off out for a prosecco afternoon tea with thr girlies today. Lots of wine wine wine grin
Then roll on next week...... DH better brace himself. wink

RPopz Sat 19-Apr-14 15:11:08

Probably, my cycles are so long I always skip a month ahead!

victoria401 Sat 19-Apr-14 22:29:46

Bought a first response today :-( my first one ever. Cross.

DrewsWife Sun 20-Apr-14 05:30:53

I used a first response and it was bfn wait a few days x

victoria401 Sun 20-Apr-14 09:24:32

I.

victoria401 Sun 20-Apr-14 09:32:02

I'm waiting drew I really don't want to see a bfn. Flushed today's fmu. Discussed with DH this morning and he doesn't think we should use it. Wait another few days as in theory the spotting I always get pre-af should start soon. On crotch watch already! DH thinks I've looked into symptoms too much now and I'm like a crazy person! Need to take a chill pill!

Dreamt I got a bfp with my stick last night. For some reason I woke up thinking I should definitely not poas today! Can't bear the dream not coming true!

RPopz Sun 20-Apr-14 10:15:55

Early testing is more stressful than its worth. Even if its neg you'll convince yourself it could still be pos later.... just prolongs the agony! I've given it up. x

toothachereturns Sun 20-Apr-14 10:45:14

PMSL at crotch watch!!!!!grin
Rpopz, totally agree. This month I'm not testing until af due. Stressful and expensive. sad

victoria401 Sun 20-Apr-14 10:51:16

Well my test doesn't have a use by until the middle of next year. I hope I get to use it way before then tho!

victoria401 Mon 21-Apr-14 13:01:11

Wednesday can't come soon enough!

toothachereturns Mon 21-Apr-14 14:13:19

How are you feeling Victoria?

RPopz Mon 21-Apr-14 14:23:02

Any sign of anything either way?? grin

I've got another 12+ days to wait!!! sad

victoria401 Mon 21-Apr-14 15:25:32

I feel ok. Thought I felt nauseous in Tesco earlier but that might have been the 2 glasses of wine last night couldn't resist. Just done some gardening and got a bit dizzy, but not used to the hard work! I've usually got more pre af symptoms by now. No spotting, no cramps. I'm very ratty with DH today but he is being a pain! I've no idea what to expect....

DrewsWife Mon 21-Apr-14 20:56:46

Victoria. When do you test??

We are booking midwife tomorrow. DH has already picked a pram. He is beyond excited. I just want to be able to eat. grin Priorities eh?!!

victoria401 Mon 21-Apr-14 22:04:16

12dpo today. Due af Wednesday. If nothing Wednesday then as long into the future as possible. I'm not hopeful though. You kind of lose hope after so long. I don't think this must be my month, I say I assume this month will be the same as every other :-( god how depressed am I today?

How are you feeling drew? Very sick I gather? X

toothachereturns Mon 21-Apr-14 22:41:07

Lol Drewswife! So funny. grin

Aw Victoria.... I really hope this is your month too. x

I'm back at work tomorrow after 11 days off. I'm having wine to cope. Might regret this in the morningwink

cd5... .. alcohol free from tomorrow on!

DrewsWife Mon 21-Apr-14 22:54:53

Don't lose hope. We only managed to dtd 2x. DH was really unwell.

I felt sooooo down about it. I actually think I felt mad at one point. My first test was bfn and I felt so negative about it that I wouldn't test until tooth nearly lost her marbles. wink

Now I'm fat and homicidal with a DH who has decided to go pay deposit on pram before I've booked the effing midwife. I'm crotch spotting as I'm convinced it's all a dream.

I can't eat yoghurt angry. I want yoghurt. My boobs are like bricks. And I'm exhausted.

Please don't lose hope.

We have been trying and this was cycle 5 for us. The one cycle was dtd 2x. We used some ph balancing gel for my who ha... And tomorrow in not allowed a lie in as we HAVE to get to docs as matter of urgency. I'm probably going to lynch him wink.

victoria401 Tue 22-Apr-14 10:07:29

So today I have cramps but no spotting (have creamy cm instead!), feels like food is getting stuck at the top of my throat and boobs are tingly but look normal. The wait is nearly over...

DrewsWife Tue 22-Apr-14 10:55:36

Sounds great!

victoria401 Tue 22-Apr-14 12:30:18

But I can't get my hopes up. Keep feeling like maybe I got ov wrong and I'm not due for another week or something!

wiltingfast Tue 22-Apr-14 12:33:54

Fingers crossed for you Victoria401, tingly boobs MUST be a good sign grin

Am 10 dpo here but feeling totally symptomless sad

My only thin hope is I don't feel the af coming either and I usually do have cramping.

Plus I'm not spotty not grasping at straws at all

af due 27 April, aaargh!

RPopz Tue 22-Apr-14 15:46:43

Kinda sounds promising Vic!! Can understand not wanting to get your hopes up though. Really hope this is your month grin

Drew why can't you have yoghurt??? hmm Sorry you're feeling sick. I think the fact you only dtd twice this month makes me feel worse - all the shagging we've been doing! envy

Is everyone back at work today? How depressing is it after a long weekend!

victoria401 Tue 22-Apr-14 17:23:11

Someone I know has got a clearblue digi that expires next month. I'm picking it up in a bit. Fx I can use it! I've actually started imagining and kind of pretending I'm preg. Its not going to be good for my mental wellbeing if I'm not! DH is deffo hoping I am so he doesn't have to do his SA next week!

RPopz Tue 22-Apr-14 17:26:43

That's a random thing to have hanging around haha! I've got everything crossed for you thanks thanks thanks thanks

Mikeysmum2906 Tue 22-Apr-14 20:31:05

Congrats drewswife smile

victoria401 Tue 22-Apr-14 21:48:21

Mikeysmum, long time no see!

Ive made up my mind, I'm poas tomorrow morning!

toothachereturns Tue 22-Apr-14 22:11:12

Woohoo Victoria!!!!! grin grin grin grin

Mikeysmum2906 Tue 22-Apr-14 23:54:47

Good luck victoria. Im not due af til weekend think am 9 dpo but not sure stupidly poas this am and of course its bfn. Have very weird twinges now and then in pelvic area. Sore bbs easing now not holding out tho this month think itll be a bfn and af will arrive as usual. Maybe a blessing tho with my surgery the week after next.

victoria401 Wed 23-Apr-14 07:08:40

Of course the answer is no, bfn.

RPopz Wed 23-Apr-14 07:19:16

sad Too early? I guess you're not out til AF shows up though x

wiltingfast Wed 23-Apr-14 09:16:05

Aw, vic sorry hon. Maybe wait and try again Thursday if af doesn't show up?

DrewsWife Wed 23-Apr-14 11:30:48

Don't give up hope Victoria. It will be your turn soon. Xxxx.

RPopz I was positive I had replied to you yesterday but clearly it didn't post. shock

Can't eat yoghurt as it likes to reappear.

No sickness so far just nausea. Waiting on that kicking in.

victoria401 Wed 23-Apr-14 12:58:54

I was silly to expect this month to be any different to the rest.

wiltingfast Wed 23-Apr-14 13:16:54

Not silly, just hopeful and we're all guilty of that PLUS you've no af yet so hang in there for a few more days.

x

toothachereturns Wed 23-Apr-14 18:49:08

Echo what others have said.... could still be you this month Victoria! smile

I need some advice... I'm cd7 and have just had a positive opk result. is that even possible? AF only stopped 2 days ago. And I've no ovulation cramps at all. Am I really about to ovulate! ?? confused

victoria401 Wed 23-Apr-14 19:12:04

Proper pos or weak pos/regarded as neg still? I was getting a weak line from cd6 last month. It grad got darker until cd11 then totally neg on cd12!

toothachereturns Wed 23-Apr-14 19:23:23

Victoria - the test line is darker than the other line..... that's a good positive isnt it?confused

toothachereturns Wed 23-Apr-14 19:24:33

I took a photo of it, but can't upload as I'm using my phone. I got a definite negative result last night.

RPopz Wed 23-Apr-14 19:53:08

I think this is why the smiley face ones are better! wink Better get on it tonight in anycase Tooth...

I'm having day 21 bloods done tomorrow sad

victoria401 Wed 23-Apr-14 19:59:32

Good luck rpopz and tooth!

RPopz Wed 23-Apr-14 20:01:46

Thankfully not in work again til Monday so can't look the results up myself.... confused

toothachereturns Wed 23-Apr-14 20:06:40

What are the smiley face ones and are they expensive? Good luck with your bloods!

Naz83 Wed 23-Apr-14 20:16:05

Hi guys. Completely new to adding comments but regularly get tips from here. Been trying for over 2 years with no luck!! Getting weird symptoms this time though. On CD21 of regular 28. Dtd on CD10,16,17 (hubby had days away for work in between). Feel nauseous, weak and tired. Dull pain in lower abdomen for last few days and a lot more discharge than normal. Tested yesterday but negative, too early?? Help

RPopz Wed 23-Apr-14 20:18:28

Think they're called clearblue digital. The "result" is a smiley face which flashes.... until your peak day and then you get a solid smiley. So no squinting at lines and controls!

victoria401 Wed 23-Apr-14 21:20:00

Hi Naz! Do you track ov? If u are regular and ovd around day 14 you would be 7dpo. Poss too early (but not impossible) for implantation so you shouldnt have any symptoms of pregnancy in theory. I think the earliest you can test is 6 days before period is due but its not accurate and I never do. Lots of ladies on here do tho with various results! My test in the drawer says its only about 55% accurate used 6 days early so not great odds for getting the right result.

You are kind of getting the same symptoms as me this month from 6dpo. Fingers crossed for us :-)

Have you had any tests to make sure you're both working properly if you've been ttc 2 years? You're entitled to tests after 12 months. Me and hubby are just going through ours now after ttc 17months. I'm also on a very good 10+month thread. Come and join us if you need more advice off the longer term try-ers. Nice girls :-)

Naz83 Wed 23-Apr-14 23:04:15

Hey Victoria401, last GP was a bit hesitant on tests, only gave me blood test to check I was ovulating as normal, thankfully I was. Her advice was to dtd more often (seems simple enough but we had heavy work schedules so tried timing ovulation only). Recently moved home and new GP, so fingers crossed for better care. Plus relaxed work schedules so having more fun!! Fingers crossed for everybody to get a positive result on that little stick!! What is the name of the older thread?

victoria401 Thu 24-Apr-14 06:46:47

10 months plus ttc, supporting each other and staying positive.

I'd def see new doctor about it. I'm not trying to scare you or anything but your other half may need checking out too? Mine is bein checked out next week and making a big fuss over it as men do ;-)

RPopz Thu 24-Apr-14 12:28:06

Any sign of evil AF Victoria? x

victoria401 Thu 24-Apr-14 12:31:05

Nothing.

Keep getting wierd cramps etc tho. I'll give it a few more days as I based due date on ov date and not average cycle length. App still says 3 days til due, but app doesn't know when I ovd and I can't tell it. Stupid app.

RPopz Thu 24-Apr-14 14:03:54

Being in limbo must be pretty annoying!

EVERYTHING is annoying me today. Esp DH. Eurgh. angry

NewlymrsB Thu 24-Apr-14 16:18:41

Hi ladies,

Have been taking a break from here as I was so upset I got af last month after being 2 days late sad sad

Congrats to Drew!!! Very pleased to hear this!

I've really gone for it this month, on Cd 24 (last month af arrived cd35) I've dtd on days 6,8,10,12,13,15,17,18,19,20,21,22,23 and plan to keep going till either af or bfp!!! I'm on a mission lol!!!

wiltingfast Thu 24-Apr-14 16:28:03

Jaysus, fair play Newly grin you totally deserve a BFP after than much shagging!

NewlymrsB Thu 24-Apr-14 16:41:40

Yep so if I don't get a bfp I'm going to go mad!! I just seem to see pregnant people EVERYWHERE!!!

victoria401 Thu 24-Apr-14 16:50:46

Omg! Newly! You must be sore!

I know what you mean about preg people! Got a newly announced workmate with the start of a cute little bump and then yesterday the 2 on maternity popped in to say hi, one with 5wk old bubba and one with humungous bump who is now 1 day overdue! Was hoping she didn'tpop in the ttearoom!

NewlymrsB Thu 24-Apr-14 17:53:10

Surprising feel fine! Have used conceive plus a few times so that may have helped! Hubby has been loving this cycle I think secretly he doesn't want me to fall this month! lol bit worried what I'm going to have to do next month if all this shagging hasn't worked!!!???
Victoria I feel for u my sil just had a baby!

RPopz Thu 24-Apr-14 18:14:53

Welcome back Newly! Feeling like a bit of an underachiever reading your post!! grin

NewlymrsB Thu 24-Apr-14 19:20:26

AF will probably still show and laugh in my face!!!

toothachereturns Thu 24-Apr-14 19:51:06

NewlyMrs - wow!!! That is a proper shagfest. You must have abs of steel. wink grin

Well after my rogue strong +ve opk last night I've had a definite -ve tonight. hmm

toothachereturns Thu 24-Apr-14 20:17:18

You inspired me.... so dh has just been a very willing and eager participant in a quickie while the kids were out playing. grin

NewlymrsB Thu 24-Apr-14 21:18:18

I have to admit some times I've had to force myself, been very tired lol. But it will all be worth it IF it pays off!

Haha love a quickie!!

Naz83 Thu 24-Apr-14 23:39:50

Need some good news from somewhere. Think AF is due soon as super emotional. To top it all off after the big move and new job and baby trying, lost my job today (well hours have been cut down to barely nothing and pretty sure it's short term), so no maternity cover from them if I do manage a baby!!

DrewsWife Fri 25-Apr-14 01:18:47

Hahahaha. I can't stop laughing at the shagfest! X

NewlymrsB Fri 25-Apr-14 08:53:28

Add day 34 to my list!! Hehe

Sorry to hear that Naz. I know it doesn't feel like it now but I really believe everything happens for a reason. We may not see that reason at the time but it will all become clear. Try not to let it dress u out, stress is not good for ttc! Xx

NewlymrsB Fri 25-Apr-14 09:44:24

24 not 34!

victoria401 Fri 25-Apr-14 10:44:48

Im doing a you drewswife! Feeling nauseous and refusing to test!

NewlymrsB Fri 25-Apr-14 10:50:24

When are u due Victoria?

victoria401 Fri 25-Apr-14 12:23:23

I thought yesterday newly. But it could be doing that annoying late thing again just to tease me! If I waited til my longest ever cycle to date (which was a 1 off 32 day-er) I'd be waiting til Tuesday!

NewlymrsB Fri 25-Apr-14 12:28:51

Oh I feel for u! My cycle did it to me last time! Got my hopes up!!

RPopz Fri 25-Apr-14 13:02:59

Aaargh Victoria! I'm rooting for you!

NewlymrsB Fri 25-Apr-14 13:22:17

Yes be lovely to hear some good news!! smile

Naz83 Fri 25-Apr-14 16:29:20

Fingers crossed Victoria. I've got to wait until Wednesday. Cramps getting worse but avoiding hot water bottle. Does anyone know if it is safe to use if it was implantation pain?

DrewsWife Fri 25-Apr-14 17:14:07

Fingers crossed Victoria!!!

victoria401 Fri 25-Apr-14 18:23:25

Thanks everyone!

victoria401 Fri 25-Apr-14 18:42:52

Sorry you've had a run of bad luck Naz, I hope things improve for you soon x no idea about the hot water bottle but I did hear warm baths encourage implantation but don't quote me on that!

NewlymrsB Fri 25-Apr-14 19:29:12

When will you test Victoria?

victoria401 Fri 25-Apr-14 19:47:18

Erm the thing is hubby just thinks we should wait til we're really late. He wants to wait until after he's had his sperm test on Monday. I'd be up for poas tomorrow!

NewlymrsB Fri 25-Apr-14 20:48:24

Ah that's fair enough! Hope this is your month smile fingers crossed xx

RPopz Fri 25-Apr-14 21:17:03

I guess the later you leave it the more certain you can be of the results (says me... poas at 11dpo last month... hmm ) Got everything crossed for you anyway! Hows DH feeling about his sperm analysis??

victoria401 Fri 25-Apr-14 21:23:06

I really want to know now!

Hubby is not looking forward to his test. Which reminds me his guys have got to be re-newed tonight in preparation! Tmi! Lol

RPopz Fri 25-Apr-14 21:34:24

Haha well he should enjoy that part at least! wink

toothachereturns Sat 26-Apr-14 08:36:56

Come on Victoria. ... test test test! smile

victoria401 Sat 26-Apr-14 09:07:04

I'm out :-( don't want to talk about it

RPopz Sat 26-Apr-14 09:54:24

DrewsWife Sat 26-Apr-14 10:22:57

victoria401 Sat 26-Apr-14 11:04:02

Stupid thing is I'm still feeling nauseous this morning, its a f-ing joke.

DrewsWife Sat 26-Apr-14 11:38:08

Monthly cycles are cruel. Nasty and mean sad xx.

NewlymrsB Sat 26-Apr-14 14:09:20

Sorry to hear Victoria sad virtual hugs to u. TTC is a tough journey!

wiltingfast Sat 26-Apr-14 16:52:15

Aw Vic, so sorry sad

toothachereturns Sat 26-Apr-14 18:05:08

Oh no Victoria. sad sad sad So sorry. Come join us on the May thread. it's a very busy one! smile

RPopz Sat 26-Apr-14 18:53:26

It is isn't it! (just went over for a peek!) it'll prob be full by the time I get there... haha

victoria401 Sat 26-Apr-14 20:06:13

Scared of the May thread!

Naz83 Sun 27-Apr-14 08:33:06

So sorry Victoria. Big hugs xx

RPopz Sun 27-Apr-14 10:02:05

Boobs are hurting today. Usually a sure sign AF is about a week away, so looks like another 35 dayer.... sad

victoria401 Sun 27-Apr-14 10:33:00

Or it could be a preggo sign ;-)

victoria401 Sun 27-Apr-14 10:43:35

Only had one tampons worth of af with no cramps. Nothing at all this morning. Have a liner on and keep checking every 5 mins! Confused!

NewlymrsB Sun 27-Apr-14 10:47:31

Rpopz I thought the exact same thing this morning! Looks like all my shagging won't have paid off!!

NewlymrsB Sun 27-Apr-14 10:48:52

Victoria since I have been ttc the last couple of months I have had the lightest periods only lasting couple of days, I think it's are cycles being even more cruel as they know we cling on to ANY sign of hope! I used to have heavy 5 days now it's light 2-3days!

victoria401 Sun 27-Apr-14 11:29:00

All the rest of my cycles have varied but still had bad cramps and at least 3 days of bleeding up to 6. Never one day with no pain. I'm wondering if it means I didn't ovulate and I'm just having a slight bleed. I never got a proper pos on the opk.

NewlymrsB Sun 27-Apr-14 11:43:08

Hmmm see what happens then! Just didn't want u getting your hopes up...I know how that feels. I hope it is something good though smile

madasacatter Sun 27-Apr-14 12:31:26

I'm out ladies, onto the May thread for me - good luck to all still waiting in April smile

RPopz Sun 27-Apr-14 13:09:12

Have you poas again Victoria? My Bf had a super light period and then a bfp....

Kind of annoying actually cos now everytime AF comes DH is all "well you might still be pregnant cos Natalie was!) Not crazy making at all... hmm

RPopz Sun 27-Apr-14 13:14:32

Sorry you're out mad sad x

victoria401 Sun 27-Apr-14 13:36:04

No I've not poas. Didn't want to get my hopes up! I'm just gonna see what happens over the next days weeks months....

victoria401 Sun 27-Apr-14 13:38:05

I'm just going with I didn't ov or something....

Although I've been feeling sick again today prob just the Chinese takeaway and wine last night

RPopz Sun 27-Apr-14 13:56:17

Ha! I felt sick of this morning.... and then remembered the vat of curry and red wine I consumed last night! confused

NewlymrsB Sun 27-Apr-14 23:40:23

I'm desperately trying not to symptom spot!

NewlymrsB Mon 28-Apr-14 09:34:15

Cycle day 28.... Longest cycle been 35 days! Hurry up this week!!

RPopz Mon 28-Apr-14 18:53:08

Quiet in here now! Any news.... anyone....?

<tumbleweed>

RPopz Mon 28-Apr-14 19:04:01

Victoria has your AF reappeared again or are you tempted for another poas?? Hope your hubbys app went well. smile

NewlymrsB Mon 28-Apr-14 20:44:51

Anyone left?

DrewsWife Mon 28-Apr-14 21:55:20

Come on girls. Two days left xx. I need company on December board. No one is talking to me there lol x

NewlymrsB Mon 28-Apr-14 23:17:00

Don't think I will get my answer before may gets here!

RPopz Mon 28-Apr-14 23:27:59

NewlymrsB Mon 28-Apr-14 23:29:03

NewlymrsB Mon 28-Apr-14 23:51:20

Props when were u due af?

wiltingfast Mon 28-Apr-14 23:52:50

Congrats Rpopz! Well done you grin

Naz83 Tue 29-Apr-14 00:43:30

Congrats Rpopz! I've had spotting today. Think AF is on way, bang on schedule!!

RPopz Tue 29-Apr-14 06:49:42

13dpo today. AF not due for another 4-6 days. Not even sure what made me test really!

victoria401 Tue 29-Apr-14 06:49:52

Omg! Congrats rpopz! I'm gonna miss chatting to my fave BMS though ;-)

No, af didn't reappear. I was going to test this morning but had a bit of spotting last night so kinda waiting for it to start again today maybe? I'm in such limbo land! I was convinced I was preg as I've been feeling so crap!

Sorry you are getting spotting too naz :-(

RPopz Tue 29-Apr-14 06:51:06

Argh cross post Vic! Don't worry will be sticking round for a while yet... can't quite believe its true.... x

victoria401 Tue 29-Apr-14 07:33:20

NewlymrsB Tue 29-Apr-14 07:58:35

Sorry Victoria sad

Naz83 Tue 29-Apr-14 12:10:25

AF officially arrived. sad

NewlymrsB Tue 29-Apr-14 12:43:42

Sorry Naz sad

Anyone left to test tomorrow?? Or is that it for April now?!

victoria401 Tue 29-Apr-14 13:21:38

Af has officially arrived here too. Means I'm right at the end of May. Don't really fancy the May bus as the bfp will start early and we will be the dregs again.

NewlymrsB Tue 29-Apr-14 13:27:15

When I get the news that I'm out we will start our own "in between" bus lol

RPopz Tue 29-Apr-14 16:14:35

Haha we are the dregs.... lovely. Wonder why the May bus is so busy! I'm sure there were never that many of us on here!

wiltingfast Tue 29-Apr-14 17:28:35

I'm still left! Am 2 days late now. DH is away so was toying with waiting to test til he gets back but think I will try poas in the morning if af doesn't arrive overnight. Have had 30 days cycles before...

victoria401 Tue 29-Apr-14 17:38:43

Good luck wilting!

I think the May bus is a merger of buses, the dragon penises and various other April ones. I think the dragon penises usually have their own but no one made one.

NewlymrsB Tue 29-Apr-14 17:40:31

Wilting test and let us know! Finish April on a high!!!

toothachereturns Tue 29-Apr-14 18:43:06

Just caught up with this. Congrats RPopz!!!!!!!!!

toothachereturns Tue 29-Apr-14 18:43:32

Wilting.... I'm sending BFP vibes your way! smile

wiltingfast Tue 29-Apr-14 18:44:57

Test is tucked in bag. Will poas in morning and let you all know. Going to be heartbroken if its another bfn sad running out of time here, 40 has come round the bloody corner and is at the bleedin door...

NewlymrsB Tue 29-Apr-14 19:03:07

Good luck!!! X

RPopz Tue 29-Apr-14 19:10:15

Wow wilting! Congrats! Great news for dh when he gets back! How are you going to tell him?

toothachereturns Tue 29-Apr-14 21:34:08

WOOHOOOOO!!!! grin grin

RPopz Tue 29-Apr-14 21:39:13

I knew it Wilting! If I could get a bfp with night time pee at 12dpo.... there's no reason to wait for fmu, especially if AFs already late wink Congratulations!! grin grin grin

wiltingfast Tue 29-Apr-14 22:16:10

Yay! You were so right grin

Not sure how to tell dh, don't want to do it on the phone...

NewlymrsB Tue 29-Apr-14 22:26:45

Wrap up the test as a coming home present!

DrewsWife Wed 30-Apr-14 00:47:28

Wooooooohooooooooooooo grin

DrewsWife Wed 30-Apr-14 00:48:45

I went to tesco and there was a bib that says born in 2014. Was only £1 wink.

victoria401 Wed 30-Apr-14 06:51:26

When would you be due though Drew? Will it be before the new year? Must be only just?

DrewsWife Wed 30-Apr-14 07:59:04

December 23rd hahaha. Guess who isn't cooking Xmas dinner this year wink.

December is my busiest time of the year thanks to Carol sevices, Sunday school, Xmas parties. Etc.

RPopz Wed 30-Apr-14 07:59:31

Haha Newly! "Here's a stick with my pee on it!" Nice present... wink grin

RPopz Wed 30-Apr-14 08:04:16

Aah Drew, that's a lovely due date. Christmas present!

wiltingfast Wed 30-Apr-14 08:26:08

Well have fished the pissy stick out of the bin! Might give it to him Fri night grin

RPopz Wed 30-Apr-14 08:38:00

Well I hope he gets it! When I showed Mr Rpopz the first pissy stick I did on Monday he said: "what does that mean??" I was like WTF do you think it means!!!! grin

DrewsWife Wed 30-Apr-14 08:51:00

There is nothing my hubby liked better than wandering about holding my pissy stick. grin Was like a security blanket for two days whilst he kept saying... Oh gawd. Oh gawd and holding his head hahaha. Give that man his pissy stick!!!

RPopz Wed 30-Apr-14 17:55:52

Haha. Pissy sticks (all four of them) are still on our bedroom table. Have to keep going to look at them to reassure myself!

Officially May tomorrow.... any stragglers left?

toothachereturns Wed 30-Apr-14 19:04:00

I think most of Mumsnet is on the May thread. Nearly at 1000 posts already! Must be Spring. wink
