Just copied it and amended Sunshine's stats, I will let the more competent stats-keepers take over coughkittycough

Treaclepie19 Sat 15-Mar-14 23:52:13

No problem! Thanks Kate smile

Zermatt Sun 16-Mar-14 05:48:37

My AF is due tomorrow or Tues I think, have symptoms of it so expect to be on the April bus soon

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 05:50:45

<looks around> am I the first?

Just POAS. Bfn. And my temps dropped this morning so I think my 'triphasic rise' was just me being ill. Hey-ho. I suppose it was a bit much to expect dream house and bfp in one week.

Good luck to those still to test.

kurama Sun 16-Mar-14 06:03:36

Cheering on little choccybean to stick more so as my brain has just clicked that I remember choccy from when I was on the busses last time before I had to take a couple months break. Go choccy Go smile clomid cycle 2 day 1 begins grin oh and my bug seems to be leaving a lot sooner than dhs did hehe

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 06:04:58

<cheers. Waves green pom poms>

Gooooooooooooo Choccybean!

KittyVonCatsington Sun 16-Mar-14 06:12:56

Morning! Still sitting on the back row but moved to the middle seats!

Feeling nauseous this morning so ovulation must be round the corner (always feel nauseous around ovulation-bloody progesterone!)

Come on ChoccyBean!! shamrock

Retro-in the voices of Tess and Brucie..."Keeeeeep Testing!"

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 06:21:25

Trying not to get my hopes up now Kitty!

Jealous of your pre-ov nausea. I'd love some sort of symptom so I know it's happening without peeing on numerous sticks. This month I just got grumpy, picked a fight with DH and missed DTD the day before hmm. It's like natural contraception!

MrsGingerbread Sun 16-Mar-14 06:28:12

Oh posh new bus! Yay! I'm expecting af sometime next week (date now not certain due to cycle lengthening effects of folic acid! ), so I guess I need to sit front/middleish.

MrsE wow, what a story. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Brings out pom poms for choccy I really hope that your little cocoa bean is sticky!

toots123 Sun 16-Mar-14 06:28:32

Thanks for the new thread!! smile

Today is my fifth flashing smiley so surely I'll ov in the next few days. Then we can start the tww together kitty

the cat woke us up but im going back to sleep haha

rambini Sun 16-Mar-14 07:09:31

Morning all, BFN here sad
Pretty sure I am out. 11 dpo, BFN with frer, and woke up with the familiar cramps and backache which I always get 3 days before AF. Feeling fed up now, as we are taking a break next month to avoid a xmas baby (dates mean it would be due xmas eve). skulks off to sulk and cry in bed for a while
Better luck to any others poas

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 07:25:50

Bad luck rambini sad flowers

I'm going for it next month despite the dates (similar to yours I'd imagine). I'm relying on the continuing major inconvenience of Christmas birthdays to guarantee up-duffing!

Spotti Sun 16-Mar-14 07:34:35

>sulkily stomps off to the back of the bus< (technically not even meant to be on this bus, but I'm feeling rebellious and have come along for the ride...and a giggle wink).

Come on choccy bean!

Sorry about AF rambini and retro. I have cake if you'd like to share? I'm smothering mine in chocolate spread this morning...so messy but oh so yummy grin.

Are we having more dragons on this bus?

BearsInMotion Sun 16-Mar-14 07:35:23

Morning! TTC #2 here, first (real!) attempt, BFP due 24 March!

Sorry to hear about the BFNs sad

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 07:37:01

I feel the need for a penis dragon too-up. I fear we may have exhausted Google's supply though.

Spotti Sun 16-Mar-14 07:42:12

Nope, not possible Retro! Google is infinite!

Found this just now. The description said "fertility symbol bronze, bronze with depiction of dragon". In my own words, that says "bronze dragon penis. Symbol of fertility" wink.

Can't quite remember the exact reason why penis dragons became our mascots, but it seems that they really are believed to be good for fertility!

Zermatt Sun 16-Mar-14 07:44:53

On my little mobile screen it looks like a penis shaped turd smile

Spotti Sun 16-Mar-14 07:46:18

Ha ha ha. Nearly chocked on my cake then!

KittyVonCatsington Sun 16-Mar-14 07:56:15

CD19 for me and still flashing smiley on OPK. Second line not as dark as it has been when taking the stick out. CD19 for past three cycles has been ovulation day for me, so hoping on hope this nausea comes with some pains soon (never thought I'd be saying that!) dreading the thought I might be one of the ladies who doesn't ovulate after an e m/c. Come on dragon penis-give me some shamrock!!!!!!!

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 07:57:29

Haha! Thank you Spotti. Google is Great!

It does look a little melty...

nosaint Sun 16-Mar-14 08:34:05

I think we need more virile looking penis dragons to bring on the BFPs... ;-)

Wow - another new bus!! Takes a seat somewhere near the middle. Don't know when I'm off as not sure I even ovulated. If I did I'll be of in 3/4 days anyway!
Sorry for yet more bfns. After the initial good start, momentum has slowed! Come on BFPs!!

Kitty, it's perfectly likely the early mc has just thrown your hormones a bit. Don't worry.

Treaclepie19 Sun 16-Mar-14 09:14:10

7dpo today, I have resisted the urge to POAS so far smile

Sorry for the BFN's sad keep testing!!!

broodysnoopstie Sun 16-Mar-14 09:15:42

Thanks for new bus. No change here Cycle day 40 af 7 days late. bfn. thinking of you choccy

nosaint Sun 16-Mar-14 09:26:59

> visualises pale pink rose quartz glowing aura around bus to raise fertility vibration for all aboard who will get pregnant so easily they hardly realise how it happened <

This bus is in flow!

Morninggrin

Ooh another new bus!!! Sorry for the bfn's and those who af has found.

I'm cd 6 and hanging around here till the April bus gets going!

Choccy.....thinking if you, hope that little bean is hanging on in there xx

KittyVonCatsington Sun 16-Mar-14 09:30:19

Thanks nosaint - basking in the roses quartz glow! I know you're right, English - I need to stop over thinking and just enjoy DTD (which is lovely, Hee Hee!!!)

Enjoy the beautiful weather today, ladies-hope it puts a 'Spring' in our step today grin

Starbright24 Sun 16-Mar-14 09:41:03

Me too spinning. Lurking away and waiting to see loads more bfps in march to make me smile.
Cd 7

MrsExtraOrdinary Sun 16-Mar-14 09:44:38

Just hopping on before you get going without me! smile

Have woken with throat deterioration and runny nose, sinus thing now turned onto full blow Yuckness! Obviously a pg sign.

Pretty sure I oved at the normal time so into the final week of waiting. Hoping not to be 6 days late again with a bfn.

Kitty think I've had an extended cycle after mc. For some people it can take a while to get back to normal cycle.

Writer, happy anniversary!!! Hope the monitoring is going ok, cheering you on in your final week.

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 09:55:49

Just got back from out of hours GP (with a prescription for Amoxycillin, hurrah!). Mentioned there was a chance I might be pregnant but that I'd tested this morning and was negative. He said it was still very early for a test to show. So there. I'm not testing again till DH is back from his trip, which is when I said I'd test all along.

In the meantime, what films do you recommend I wantch from my sick bed?!

nicx240187 Sun 16-Mar-14 09:57:28

Good luck all.
I'm still sat here waiting, no bfp or af, still tingly boobies and now 3 days late.

Thanks for the new bus!

Thank you for the thoughts too.
Still have a very very faint like but I'm thinking the inevitable is going to happen. Dh wants me to come off the progesterone so we can start again, but I want to give it a few more days and get my bloods done so we are going to do that.

Writer, hope all is going well, happy 1st anniversary!!

Writerwannabe83 Sun 16-Mar-14 10:18:32

Morning Choccy - thanks for the Anniversary Wishes!! We had a lovely meal out last night, it was so nice being able to get dressed up!! I may have looked like an elephant but at least I was a glamorous one for a change smile

I've read back through about 10 pages this morning as I haven't had chance to keep up due to being back in and out of hospital again. I'm so sorry to read you're in this position again, the cruelty and unfairness of it all just baffles me - it really does. I will be thinking of you, your Bean and your lines and remaining positive for the best outcome x x

Still no baby this end - my monitoring yesterday was fine though he refused to wake up for 45 minutes so because no movements were monitored I had to stay there for ages!! It's nice hearing his heartbeat though. Got to go back tomorrow morning for the same thing......I'm thinking of spending the whole day on my birthing Ball to see if I can trigger things off naturally smile

To the poster who was talking about continuing with TTC even though it would mean a Christmas Baby because the sheer inconvenience was no doubt a sure way to end up pregnant - I say go for it!! grin When me and DH decided to TTC all my family said, "Whatever you do, do not have a March baby!!!" March is a ridiculously expensive month in our family as it is Mother's Day, My Wedding Anniversary and 3 family member's birthdays all within 6 days of each other!! Sod's Law we got pregnant straight away with a Due Date of March smile Boy did my family groan (light heartedly obviously) when we told them grin

Good luck to everyone still waiting to test - it's lovely to still see so much positivity smile

katecupoftea Sun 16-Mar-14 10:20:04

Melty turd dragon penis. Hilarious!

I quite like that we have a mixture of people in their cycles at the moment. Some near the end, some (like me) in the middle, some just starting. United by the penis dragons!

I'm on cd17, probably should have OVd but IC still not showing. Has anyone else ever had a crap experience with IC OPKS? Definitely investing in clearblue next month (although hoping I won't have to).

Spotti Sun 16-Mar-14 10:25:55

>tootles back off to google to find a more virile looking dragon<

MrsExtraOrdinary Sun 16-Mar-14 10:27:22

So glad you got to have a lovely evening together writer. It might be a while before that happens again. grin

While we are on the subject of penis dragons, has anyone visited the fertility symbol in Dorset? The 180ft cerne Abbas giant? My parents have a holiday home in Dorset so if no bfp by April I'm going to camp out on the penis! Not sure what dh will think about that, but anything for a bfp!

Writerwannabe83 Sun 16-Mar-14 10:42:11

MrsExtra - the mea out wasn't actually to celebrate our Anniversary but for one of my DH's colleagues birthday celebrations - she turned 60 and had hired out a room in this really fancy hotel with a posh slap up meal. We weren't going to celebrate our Anniversary really so it was just a nice coincidence grin

I went abroad with my friend many years ago to Turkey and on a day trip round one of the old towns we were taken to the fertility fountain where legend has it that any woman who drinks water from the fountain falls pregnant smile Just letting you know in case the Dorset Penis doesn't work it's magic and you fancy taking a summer holiday.... grin

Spotti Sun 16-Mar-14 10:49:40

He he, virile enough?

MrsExtraOrdinary Sun 16-Mar-14 10:52:09

I hadn't heard about that fountain, but I'm going to tell my sister as she is going to turkey this year. She has given up hope of a second baby. My nephew is 13 and they started trying again the year after his birth. She's Riddled with endo and now she's 40 so it really would be a miracle! But anythings worth a go!

Writerwannabe83 Sun 16-Mar-14 10:52:40

Bloody Hell spotti grin grin

Is he sitting on a birthing Ball or are they his testicles??? haha grin

Treaclepie19 Sun 16-Mar-14 10:59:38

Haha Spotti, definitely virile!!!

I want to test. I want to test. Gahhh I hate being 7dpo. >.<

katecupoftea Sun 16-Mar-14 11:25:39

What is he shoving down there?! Is it a pump for the testicles?

Writerwannabe83 Sun 16-Mar-14 12:03:44

I thought it was sperm pumping out grin

Starbright24 Sun 16-Mar-14 12:27:30

What the.....
spotti

haha! grin

katecupoftea Sun 16-Mar-14 13:09:06

But he's grasping it so it must be pretty solid sperm!

Writerwannabe83 Sun 16-Mar-14 13:21:29

Good point grin

But the thought of him pushing something down there makes me cringe...

Maybe he's bought one of those Self-Test home Kits for Chlamydia and other STI's.....don't the men have to stick something down their urethras and twiddle it around??

missmrsmummy Sun 16-Mar-14 14:02:24

Retro I might still end up testing with you if you wait - AF not here yet and still only light spotting so DH have naively convinced ourselves we could still be in for a BFP!

Kate Me! Already bought my cb digis for next cycle. Got some v. confusing results with ics including no line whatsoever one lunch time, followed by a really dark one that evening! So glad I checked again in the evening or could have missed it, going by the neg result at lunch!

nic oooh sounds like you're still in! Fx for a bfp!

Just remembered I went to a fertility fountain in Spain a few years ago. I've forgotten the name of the place so that's useless. I was hoping to look at a picture of it to re-ignite its effects!

Come on Kitty egg!

Come on Choccy bean!

Come on Writer baby!

impatienceisavirtue Sun 16-Mar-14 14:13:10

Sorry will catch up properly this evening on computer, haven't been on the thread for ages.

But I'm driving myself mad.

I'm 6dpo. And insane. I did an hpt ec this morning and there was a very faint line, within the time, not evap. Same on repeat test. Two opks also positive. Wtaf?

This also happened last month when I definitely was preg. Very very faint pos on ec hpt on 6dpo then disappeared until 3 days before AF then started showing on first response and got stronger until mc.

Surely this is impossible?!?

missmrsmummy Sun 16-Mar-14 14:19:05

Impatience Could you be more than 6dpo? 6 dpo does seem early for positive but who knows?! I feel like nothing is impossible with mother nature...

Gingerbreadlady1 Sun 16-Mar-14 14:38:28

impatience I got a pos 3 days after ov!!! It stayed there for a few days then disappeared, chem preg.

Well ladies I got a nice strong pos opk so the shagging marathon had started. Currently lying on bed with legs in air, tmi??

missmrsmummy Sun 16-Mar-14 14:41:01

Ginger not tmi - standard practice round here! Have fun wink

Treaclepie19 Sun 16-Mar-14 14:42:32

Impatience, I know how you feel. Didn't POAS this morning but reeeeaaally wanted to. Im going to test tomorrow then friday.

Gingerbreadlady1 Sun 16-Mar-14 14:45:23

How long we suppose to hover upside down? In danger of loosing consciousness!

ItsChristmaass Sun 16-Mar-14 14:47:15

I'm on cd23 now so 5 days to go. Would it be stupid to start testing tomorrow?! Really don't want to set myself up for disappointment. Been given one more shot at clomid after this cycle then going to start iui confused
Does anyone know anything about iui or been through it?

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 15:17:47

missmrs, I so hope AF stays away for you! Keeping everything crossed!

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 15:20:50

ItsChristmaass, hold on and test with us on Wednesday or Thursday! I POAS this morning (cd24) and it was silly.

Flush that fmu and step away from the pee ramekins!

missmrsmummy Sun 16-Mar-14 15:21:07

Thanks Retro I won £10 on the lottery last night so feeling lucky! shamrock

Starbright24 Sun 16-Mar-14 15:31:59

gingerbreadlady I asked the same thing this morning while my legs were up in the air. Lol.
Info back was that it's not needed although I don't think that's going to stop me!!

Starbright24 Sun 16-Mar-14 15:32:44

gingerbreadlady I asked the same thing this morning while my legs were up in the air. Lol.
Info back was that it's not needed although I don't think that's going to stop me!!

Starbright24 Sun 16-Mar-14 15:33:26

Oops. Sorry blush

Writer.....pleased to hear you enjoyed your evening out and baby is happy, not long nowgrin

Choccy.....I don't know what to say but I continue to keep everything crossed for you xx

I use ic opk's and cb. I usually get a positive on a ic on cd 11 and then use the cb to see the smiley facegrin I've just stocked up on cb opk's and frer ready for this cycle......positive thinkinggrin

Oh and I really didn't want a Christmas baby.....we have lots of birthdays in December including mine and dp's. it's also a rubbish time of the year for a birthday......but now I don't care and I really want a Christmas babygrin

missmrsmummy Sun 16-Mar-14 15:41:22

Same here Spinning including my birthday! But I'm not fussy any more!

MrsExtraOrdinary Sun 16-Mar-14 15:44:20

All this talk of peering on a stick...I thought if just have a practice! shock Clearly going insane, but do many pre sticks to get through it was just too tempting! Needless to say bfn! But I'm way off af/bfp dates anyway. Glad I did though, it's all very tiny! I had to put my specs on, while dying for a wee!!! grin

MrsExtraOrdinary Sun 16-Mar-14 15:46:57

Oh Lordy! I've just found a frer in the drawer! I think I'm going to have to get dh to confiscate that piece of gold dust before I blow a gasket and pee on that too! Don't know what's got into me!!!

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 15:55:03

Haha! Cause I got a bogof FRER I'm very tempted to give the spare pack to DH to take away with him! Imagine if his luggage got searched though grin

missmrsmummy Sun 16-Mar-14 15:55:04

Haha Mrs don't worry I'm the same! Except I've just peed on an opk for something to do! It's much darker than one I did the other day hmm I wish it was a real hpt! I'm sure I'm being ridiculous but why would it be darkish now near AF being due?

SLAP ME!

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 16:06:26

I peed on my last OPK the other day for something to do. For a while I was out of things to pee on which was nice!

Think choccy bean is giving up.
Good luck ladies with your future babies. I've had e fucking nough to be honest with you all.
I wish you all the best for the future x

ItsChristmaass Sun 16-Mar-14 16:34:44

Okay retro, sounds like a plan. I'll hold off until Wednesday. Dh is away on a training course with army and won't be back for a couple of weeks. Gonna be poasing all on my own smile

ItsChristmaass Sun 16-Mar-14 16:35:24

Sorry to hear that Choccy. sad thanks
I really feel for you xx

Knottyknitter Sun 16-Mar-14 16:38:34

katecupoftea Sun 16-Mar-14 17:05:32

So sorry Choccy, this ttc is really crap x

lindamagoo Sun 16-Mar-14 20:26:07

So sorry Choccy thanks

SaRaRaRaRa Sun 16-Mar-14 20:39:42

Choccy that's awful, am so sorry thanks

katecupoftea Sun 16-Mar-14 20:57:17

Well, the positive and successful bus isn't working out as such is it?
How about we all remind each other of where we are in cycle etc and when we plan on testing? Anyone this week?
I'm just starting 2ww, even though have dtd every day for the past week, don't feel successful for some reason.

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 20:59:04

<waves pom-poms slightly pathetically. Coughs. Wheezes. Pokes boobs. Goes back to bed>

JonesSchool Sun 16-Mar-14 21:13:20

I ovulated 2 weeks ago today, so have just had the two week wait, have been a bit sneaky as had decided not to really try after a miscarriage last month but have found it easier to have a focus and to keep going... So the BFN this morning was very disappointing!
Oh well positive thoughts for next month, I have just been stocking up on amazon, I have 2 tubes of conceive plus, 50 OPK sticks and the book 'impatient woman's guide to getting pregnant'
I feel quite embarrassed that some poor person has to go and pick all that tomorrow at amazon HQ!

Writerwannabe83 Sun 16-Mar-14 21:19:57

Oh Choccy - have you started spotting or is it that you are just worried about your lines?? Either way, I'm really sorry you are feeling like things aren't going as you want them to, you don't deserve any of this flowers We are all thinking of you x x

So sorry Choccy, hope DH is looking after youthanks

I've just about picked myself up off the floor after AF did indeed "kick my butt" a day late on Wed. Had a really low couple of days then followers by a family "do" on sat which just felt at the time to be designed to rub my face in it with lots of kids a beautiful baby and a 20wk bump! Lots of aunties asking "when are you having another one?". Pfft!

I've just ordered a whole load of digi opks and am just about ready to get back on the DH horse! FX for this month.

Hope everyone else is ok?!

P.s. Do you think I'm crazy to just be starting to watch a film called "Conception"? It's supposed to be a comedy but I can see myself being sat here in tears when DH gets home in a couple of hours! one last cry for my March cycle

Fingerscrossed36 Sun 16-Mar-14 21:22:02

sad choccy thinking of you

Good idea kate

I'm currently cd42, tested on cd40 bfn. Still hoping but more convinced the witch is going to get me. POAS Wed? If nothing by then

Thought I'd worked out my cycles this time but looks like might 42 to 56 day cycles again sad had a 38 day cycle last month which is why I'm down for BFP on 12th March

katecupoftea Sun 16-Mar-14 21:26:48

Jones that book sounds perfect for me! If I'm not successful this month I'm definitely investing!

MrsExtraOrdinary Sun 16-Mar-14 21:27:42

Retro I think I've contracted your lurgy! My sore throat has turned into a full blown chesty event. I feel v run down. sad

I had a moment of madness earlier just practising but I'm vowing not to test until Friday at least. Bfp due Monday week. I'm eating like a pig if that's a symptom won't mention the 2 Belgian buns I consumed today boobs are enormous maybe the buns have gone straight to my boobs shock and achy! Face puffy!

Considering dh and I are a once a month kinda couple I have given my all this month.

I will be putting dh on every kinda vitamin going if we've not been successful this time .

nosaint Sun 16-Mar-14 21:33:42

Sorry to hear the disappointing news the last couple of days. Hugs to choccy and those with bfn. hmm

I worked out I am on cd22 and feeling really moody and unattractive. Reckon this is pmt!

Also, my healthy diet in an attempt to conceive has made me pile on the pounds, so my jeans are scarily tight! Guzzling pomegranate smoothies does bump up the daily calorie intake looooool

Treaclepie19 Sun 16-Mar-14 21:35:23

I'm on cd24, 7dpo. Going to test tomorrow as we are off to the opera then friday as we are out for my dads bday.

So sorry choccy sad

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 21:41:14

MrsExtra, I'm sorry! Does that make it a computer virus?!

I'm now snotty, sneezy, lazy, sleepy, hungry, breathless and wheezy.

That's the shittest compliment of Dwarves ever. Beat that Disney!

Someone tell me flu with no temperature, no glands up and constipation is pregnancy...

Ok ladies, I'm only about 25 mins into this film and it is so funny watching the one ttc couple. I'm sure you'd all appreciate it too. It's on Sky On Demand.

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 21:45:59

Thanks poly, I'll have to watch it on my sick bed tomorrow. Wonder if it's on Netflix? I do love 'What to expect'

MrsExtraOrdinary Sun 16-Mar-14 21:52:30

Retro I'm also constipated, but thought that was because I didn't drink enough yesterday. My arse is bleeding sadshock I had bowel surgery last year too many times so it's a bit sensitive!

Haha computer virus indeed! grin

Something that did spook me yesterday was when I'm out I never need a wee. I've got the PElvic floor of an ox, lol! But I had to relent and go at earls court joining the massive queue took 25 minutes. Dh was like, mrsE that's not like you! Strange as I felt dehydrated.

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 21:58:02

Ooh MrsExtra, sounds like symptoms!

I had an upset stomach on Thursday, but (sorry, tmi) have barely 'been' since. And I've been eating a normal amount.

I'm not sure where it's all going shock

katecupoftea Sun 16-Mar-14 22:04:37

IT'S ALL SYMPTOMS

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 22:09:49

Pmsl kate! I'm not picturing you with wild hair running down a street somewhere with crazy hands!

ITS ALL SYMPTOMS I TELLS YOU!!!!

<waily waily>

katecupoftea Sun 16-Mar-14 22:13:53

Nah, not doing that. I'm currently sitting doing some marking and doing a lot of trumping, telling myself IT'S SYMPTOMS.

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 22:15:00

I just peed a little coughing blush. This does not bode well.

Kate when I was pg with DS I had terrible wind! I would say that was my number one symptom. It got to a point where I just couldn't keep it in and just had to keep saying "I'm really sorry! - it's the baby!!"

MrsExtraOrdinary Sun 16-Mar-14 22:19:54

Haha retro if your not duffed, ill eat my hat! reminding myself to squeeze ox like pelvic floor before coughing

RetroHippy Sun 16-Mar-14 22:35:49

I hope it's a tasty hat... I have form for totally imagining things. Last month I spent 3 days pre-AF sat on the sofa moaning that 'My woooomb huurts!' drama queen

Although it does feel oddly crampy now... Must send the FRERs away with DH.

Treaclepie19 Sun 16-Mar-14 22:39:01

Ladies you're making me over analyse!!
I'm constipated where normally it is the opposite as i have ibs. Sorry tmi.

Probably my only symptom... Oh and I've been off work ill for two days when normally in no matter what. Hmmm.
Dont feel this is our month though sad

MrsGingerbread Sun 16-Mar-14 22:40:45

Oh dear. Af due between Thurs and Saturday. I already feel very snappy (poor dh) and tummy feels like the normal girly pains are brewing.

I did have to buy fizzy cola bottle sweets yesterday, an unusual choice for me, but nothing even slightly resembling a symptom.

Think I'm probably out. sad

missmrsmummy Sun 16-Mar-14 22:41:11

Like the cheery atmosphere this evening smile

Ok, I'll tell you where I'm at (Dragons' Den-style, or should that be Penis Dragons' Den?!)

CD25. 8/9DPO. Day 3 of spotting. Day 4 of horrible pre-AF symptoms (nausea, bloating, headache). AF due to arrive with a vengeance tomorrow morning!

How's everyone else? Sorry to hear about your yucky illnesses thanks

missmrsmummy Sun 16-Mar-14 22:42:17

Treacle I am just going to inbox you!

MrsExtraOrdinary Sun 16-Mar-14 22:47:51

I'm sorry ginger! Is the hair no longer fluffy?!

I'm going with ill being a good thing until af comes and then I shall blame illness or dh on being completely insane with pretend pg symptoms! grin

I'll shake a low key pom pom for encouragement treacle!

Treaclepie19 Sun 16-Mar-14 22:59:44

Thanks missmrs, have replied smile

Haha thanks MrsE smile Hoping we're in with a chance but not very optimistic.

BTW I just picked up 20 clearblue digi opks on eBay for £23.50 +p&p. Thought that was quite good.

gennibugs Mon 17-Mar-14 03:19:20

Hello all

Wide awake from jet lag so decided to catch up.

So sorry to read your post choccy, truly I am.hmm

I am 1dpo so long wait ahead. I'm not going to think about it whilst on holiday though. Feel like we DtD as much as we possibly could so if this isn't our month I don't quite know what to do next!

Hope all are well. Good luck to all - we need another BFP to lift the bus I think!

Zermatt Mon 17-Mar-14 06:26:52

Really sorry to read back and see your news choccy and also sorry to everyone else who hasn't had good news this month.

I'm on CD25 and 11DPO, last 2 cycles AF came on CD26 so am expecting it any day now. I thought I was playing it really cool this 2ww and trying not to over think things but for some reason today I can think of little else! Its so hard not to convince yourself that you might be preggo even when you've decided to mentally prepare yourself that you aren't for damage limitation!

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 06:32:17

Morning all! I'm still off work today till I can breathe without wheezing yet I am wide awake at 6am yet again.

This morning I have had to make myself cereal as I am ravenous. My temps have also gone back up a bit...

This is going to sound crazy...

I think I'm unlikely to be pg because we were so lucky with the house. I (and DH has said it too) feel like we don't deserve to have all the luck. Does anyone else get this? I feel like to have the house, and a baby would just be too good. We've actually had a pretty fantastic last year for various reasons and I can't help being worried that there's some serious shit on its way. We feel like we're living a charmed life...

DH said the other day that it we had a choice between moving, and no baby, or staying in our little house forever then he'd stay here happily and have DCs, and I totally get what he means. It should be a payoff because no one deserves all the good stuff while some people have none.

I also believe that by testing on Sunday instead of waiting till Thursday which I'd said all along, I've jinxed my chances hmm. I'll be counting magpies next did not already do this whilst viewing the new house. Four for a boy

Hum, early morning maudlin-ness.

Ginger" missmrs, you're not out till AF arrives!

KittyVonCatsington Mon 17-Mar-14 06:37:51

Urggh! CD20 and I still don't think I've ovulated! Never wanted my ovulation pains so badly!!! Have had really dry mouth all day yesterday and still have it, so hope it's ovulation signs. Even if it was though, still too late for a viable implantation I shouldn't wonder...Grrrrr, still DTD in case.

Lots of virtual hugs Choccy

toots123 Mon 17-Mar-14 06:40:52

Retro I know exactly what you mean and said this to dh. The last two years for us have been perfect. We got engaged, bought our lovely house then got married and we still have enough money saved to buy a new car soon and hopefully kit out a nursery. We are still blissfully happy too and feel a bit like a teenager in love while my friends have all had house/relationship problems. So I feel like we will be the couple that cant have kids while im also thinking it would make life perfect

Im sure we are being paranoid though but its been on my mimd a lot

sixth flashing smiley this morning too grrrrr

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 06:51:27

toots, that's exactly it. I have to keep reminding myself that DH and I have both worked our butts off (DH far more than me) to get ourselves here and we have been patient as far as waiting to TTC. While all around us were getting up duffed by accident I was taking my pill religiously and being remarkably honest if I missed one!

If it's any consolation, a friend of a friend has beautiful kids, rich husband, is a model (!) and is blissfully happy. Obviously no one knows what goes on behind closed doors but she does seem to have it all. And she's nice envy

Choccy, I'm so sorry that this appears to be happening again, but you are in good hands with your professor. I really feel for you, you've had a shit few months. Sending you a massive unMN hug.

Kitty - if you ovulate late, AF will be late. There's no reason that late ovulation couldn't produce a viable pregnancy. Don't be hard on yourself. smile

Hope everyone else that is poorly feels better soon.

I'm cd27, stomach has felt a bit twingey all wknd but my temps don't correlate with either ovulation or pregnancy. It would be a bloody miracle if I was upduffed, despite major DTD-athon!! Normally have a 12 day lp so I guess the bitch should arrive by on Wednesday if I did ovulate. Going to at least wait til Friday if nothing.

I just want to know what I can do to get my cycles sorted. Before my stupid early mc they were relatively normal, 29/30 days. With ovulation around cd16-18.

toots123 Mon 17-Mar-14 07:08:18

Wow retro. Maybe some people do get all the luck. Im no model so maybe I can have a bit more luck and have some babies!! Yes, everyone is having babies which hurts. And my mum keeps going on about who is pg and why she isnt a granny. Trying not to tell her we are ttc so she will be super happy when we do get pg. But my patience will be gone soon!!!

toots123 Mon 17-Mar-14 07:08:58

That should read why isnt she a granny lol

missmrsmummy Mon 17-Mar-14 07:09:44

Morning ladies, I'm out. AF is here. Bang on time. Day 5 of feeling sick and having cramps. And it's Monday. This is SHIT!

Is there an April bus yet? Need to bag a seat!

Totally feel the same Retro and Toots. Plus until 2 years ago I was adamant that I didn't want children so feel like I've jinxed myself!

rambini Mon 17-Mar-14 07:13:05

Well AF arrived with a vengeance last night at 11pm. By 2am I was screaming in agony and begging dh to stay with me because I thought I was going to die. Worst AF pain I have ever felt. My stomach, thighs and lower back were all in indescribable agony. So this morning I am heat padded and painkillered up to the max for school. Roll on this afternoons ppa!
I am giving April a miss but if it is ok with you lovely ladies I will still hang about with you all to wave pom poms and look at penis dragons?

Treaclepie19 Mon 17-Mar-14 07:16:31

Oh no ladies sorry AF is here sad

I stupidly tested. 8dpo and bfn... Obviously.

missmrsmummy Mon 17-Mar-14 07:27:05

Aw no Rambini so sorry you're suffering. I'm having the worst symptoms this time too (not as bad as yours though!) hope you're ok and least you're not teaching all day thanks

Who's having a prosecco tonight?!

missmrsmummy Mon 17-Mar-14 07:27:49

Treacle hang in there! X

Zermatt Mon 17-Mar-14 07:38:58

Sorry to those who have been caught by that bitchy witch, Rambini that sounds horrid, hope that the pain is is not as bad for you today.

Retro I completely get what you mean about feeling like you must have something bad around the corner as you have used up more than your quota of good, I worry about that kind of thing a lot and am quite glad to find out it's not just me! I dont think the universe is that balanced though, there is there is no pattern to who gets the good and who gets the bad, its arbitary imo (although that doesnt stop me worrying about it!)

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 07:40:59

missmrs and rambini gutted for you both flowers flowers and cake and wine. rambini, that sounds horrendous, is it normal for your period to be that bad? sad can you take your PPA at home in pjs?

treacle, tut tut! I've never tested at 8dpo <shifty eyes>

toots, I told my mum at the end of April when I got my faint evap line. She got so excited and emotional that I wished I'd not mentioned it, but if anything did go wrong, or we had real troubles, then I'd want to be able to talk to her about it.

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 07:43:47

I'm sorry ladies, who af got! confused large glass of wine for you all later!

My glands are enormous, I'm wondering, I know I forgot my thyroxine for 2 days last week, which sometimes triggers this awful throat. Still not been paid it's been a v stressful week. Not surprised I'm ill really. After school run I'm hitting boots the enormous chemist for supplies of get better vits.

Not slept much, as dh sort of punched me in the rib at 3.30. He was asleep, but when he's stressed he sort of acts out his dreams angry took my breath away. Then he was rambling for the rest of the night. Then the cat jumped on me at 4.30, with prickly claws!

Feeling v sorry for myself today. I've had pneumonia several times so I'm a bit worried. Once when pg in first trimester. When chest is this bad I need steroids. Of fuckety fuck! How can this go from a bit if a sore throat to this in 2 days. sad

Spotti Mon 17-Mar-14 07:50:16

Do we know if there's an April bus yet? If not, shall I start one?

Sorry to hear about the lurgy guys. And AF. She's a bitch isn't she? (Actually, I've always sworn Mother Nature is dude...I think I'm going to refer to AF as a 'he' from now on!)

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 07:54:58

MrsExtra, you do sound in a sorry state sad get thee to the doctors! Lots of vitamins and daytime telly. Poor RetroHound has been so neglected; every time I go outside my chest tightens and I can't breathe. Thankfully the dog walker is coming today, I might see if she can take home for an hour.

Could well be a symptom wink. I am now wondering as I am never ill, don't take time off etc and this has knocked me for six. I'm assuming it's a similar virus we've both got but for it to get this bad my immune system must be shocking.

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 08:05:18

Unfortunately my gp practice is utterly rubbish! There's no point even asking for an apt today as they won't even allocate an emergency apt to me. I will give if my best shot tomorrow. sad Bloody nhs and a failing system! Which reminds me I was supposed to change gp.

nicx240187 Mon 17-Mar-14 08:06:14

Sorry to all, fingers crossed for those still waiting,
I have done another amazon test and still nothing. But still no af either.
Keep getting stomach cramp like things and assuming af is in her way but still not here and that's 4 days late.
Think if nothing has happened on thurs (7th day) I will go to the doctors.
I think I'm out and I had a talk with dh yesterday about what to try next. He doesn't think spending £100 on digital ov tests is worth it. (I'm struggling with cheap opks to see if they are gettin darker etc)

If this month is a no what should I buy,
Gimme a list as next month will be month 10. I'm ready for a all guns blazing attack, then if I need to go to the docs for assistance I can feel proud I have tried everything I can myself first.

(Sill secretly keeping my fingers crossed I'm one of the very rare ones who's hpg doesn't show in urine *shufty eyes*)

LemonDrizzler Mon 17-Mar-14 08:06:40

Choccy I'm so sorry. Xx

Mrs and rambini....sorry af has arrivedthankswine

Spotti....yes please start up an April busgrin

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 08:18:36

MrsExtra, my GP is crappy too. I went last Monday but was asked if I 'really needed to see a doctor?' Erm. Yes. That's why I called hmm

I only got abs as I called 111 Sunday morning (4.30, wheezing like an accordion) and they got me in at 9:10. Otherwise I doubt I'd have been able to see anyone till tomorrow.

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 08:19:41

So if you're still feeling shite this evening, try 111 just after the GP closes <cunning>

kurama Mon 17-Mar-14 08:34:44

nix I found a 2 month supply of cb digital ov kit for £25 the other day! ive also bought wellman conception vits for dh and the conceive plus lube blush . dh thinks im mad as we are skint but its all out war now!!! both our nasty bugs have gone now but ive still got a horribly blocked nose and a tickly chesty cough. bring on the april bus!!!wine

cth1982 Mon 17-Mar-14 08:57:00

Choccy sending you big hugs and good thoughts

Retro remember good things happen to good people do don't think you have used your luck up!

I'm about 6dpo so bfp date has moved forward to 25 March (hopefully) - anyone else with these silly long cycles? I'm on day 34 already!

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 09:14:14

Just had my second breakfast <nomnomnom>

Don't know if it's cos I'm feeling better or... SYMPTOM!

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 09:29:43

I've never tried 111. So that's definitely worth a thought. Good to hear the appetite is still good retro! I'm Hungary but don't think I can swallow today. And I've just turned down a latte! shock It's a sign! I'm clearly convincing myself yet another pg symptom!

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 09:39:38

I'd never tried it. SIL recommended it, DNiece has needed it more than once! They were pretty good, but I called around half 5 Saturday and they couldn't get me an appt till midnight, which is why I called back Sunday morning.

They all sounded very concerned when I said there was a chance I might be pg. All except the actual GP!

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 09:41:42

I've had an unopened bottle of red on the side for over a week! shock

And my Saturday coffee tasted of ass.

Morning. Going for a blood test in a min but I already know the outcome as test is very light.
I spoke to the nurse who really really pissed me off tbh as I asked for a blood form and she asked why. So I said about my lines not getting any darker and said, if it's positive then a urine test will suffice!
I said er no because a blood test tells my hcg levels rising or lowering and a urine test can show positive even if you've miscarried. Such a fucking idiot!
Needless to say I now have my forms for 2 tests being left for me.
What a dick

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 09:54:23

Thinking of you Choccy, do you know when you'll get the results back? Hopefully it's quick. <hugs>

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 10:01:50

Oh choccy you just don't need idiot nurses on top of everything else. It makes it all so much harder. I have had hcg tests myself where it didn't double in the 3 days. But it wasn't 72 hrs, more like 60, so they convinced me it was bad news. That was after spotting and ttc for 18 mts. But it was all ok and I didn't mc. Make sure it's definitely 72 hrs for an accurate result. Wishing you all the luck in the world.

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 10:03:18

Just for the record ladies, how on earth are you all knocking back venous? It's the most disgusting medicine I've ever tried!

MrBsMrsB Mon 17-Mar-14 10:14:06

Morning Ladies,
Choccy - my thoughts & prayers are with you.

Kitty - do you think you'll be able to do the stats from now on? I've been so busy and not been able to keep on top of it.

I'll still be around to celebrate all the BFPs as and when they come - But work is really making sure they get their moneys worth from me.

toots123 Mon 17-Mar-14 10:33:21

Hope all goes ok choccy. Thinking of you

still cant believe ive had my sixth flashing smiley on cb digi opk. Really hoping for a solid smiley tomorrow!!! So frustrating

And the stupid bint has put me at 3 weeks pg instead of 5!

MrsE will makes sure thanks x

Retro not sure, maybe this aft?
Thanks ladies x

Writer, how is everything? That bubba being stubborn?
No spotting, just tests very faint now. Progesterone can stop af so I need to know so I can come off them and bleed and crack on again.

Sort to cluster post I've not got a great signal so trying to post a bit at a time.

Thank you all for you well wishes yesterday very much appreciated xx

lindamagoo Mon 17-Mar-14 10:54:20

Aw Choccy I hope you don't wait long for results thanks

I've gave up on the cough bottle, tried it for 3 days and couldn't do anymore, it was disgusting, lol, I'll stick with my conceive plus smile

Spotti Mon 17-Mar-14 11:25:03

Writerwannabe83 Mon 17-Mar-14 11:41:28

Hi choccy - I love that you used the word Bint to describe the nurse, it's one word that always makes me laugh inside smile Good luck with your blood tests and obviously I'm hoping for the best!!

There's still no baby here - I was back at the hospital this morning for further monitoring and another scan and everything is looking positive for Friday. I'm starting to get a little bit nervous now though.....

PunkyPod Mon 17-Mar-14 11:50:54

Hi ladies.

Sorry to hear so many are feeling poorly and very sorry to hear about AF showing up for some of you this weekend. She is a complete cow bag.

choccy this emotional rollercoaster is so tough. I'm hoping very much that your news is positive.

It's been a while since we had a BFP hasn't it. I hope more are on their way......

I'm about 6dpo now. Zero symptoms. Reckon i'll test next monday (if i'm good). we're away this weekend so there wont be much opportunity to pee on any sticks. Weirdly when i found out i was expecting DD we'd just come back from the place we are going to this weekend. I hope there's some luck in our stars!

DH has been asking how much longer til we find out if we've done it. ARGH i hope it's soon!!!

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 11:51:56

Best of luck writer, how exciting!

I am making soup. Hungry again blush

<all together>

SYMPTOM!!

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 12:03:01

Oooo retro I was just going to have some soup too! wink Despite 2 paracetamol I'm still v hot blush and I had a few waves of nausea an hour ago shock face is v puffy too. I've known friends who got a flu like bug they couldn't shake, then realised they were pg! But they did that without trying and realised a couple of months later! I mean how could you not know???? Clearly our obsessive pee sticks aren't for everyone.

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 12:11:45

A friend of mine came off the pill intentionally and didn't realise she was pg for five weeks! Far too laid back for me.

I'd love to be able to do it like that, but ttc has shown just how much of a control freak I am grin

I do think it started as a cold, as I had a sore throat from 2/3 dpo, but I'm so rarely poorly the only reason I can think for it lasting this long is a reduced immune system... Fx our flu has a very good explanation!

Gingerbreadlady1 Mon 17-Mar-14 12:13:05

Breaking news! Holly willy-booby preggers again!

Nottalotta Mon 17-Mar-14 12:27:53

Hello all. Sorry to post and run but am at work. Af is on her way - due tomorrow but definitely started today although not really 'full flow' just yet.

Feeling miserable.

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 12:54:11

Oh no Notta, what a rubbish day for the penis dragons sad flowers cake

toots123 Mon 17-Mar-14 13:02:03

Well I would have had to ov today to stay on this bus but no pains yet so im off to the shiney new april bus... will stick ariund for the good banter though and to cheer on some more bfp's!!!

Thanks for the April bus, I'll pop over and check in but will be straddling the two buses smile

Choccy....sorry about the nurse but pleased you've had your bloods taken, hope you don't have to wait too long for results. Will you see the prof again when you have the results?

I saw that Holly Willouby is pregnant....it made me wonder if any celebs hang out on MN!!

impatienceisavirtue Mon 17-Mar-14 13:21:08

I said to DH this morning that I might order some more EC HPTs for this month just in case.

He pointed out that if I manage to go through all twenty of them plus the four FRERs then I should seek help.

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 13:31:34

Impatience, according to your DH I need help then blush.

TTC since Jan, I've got through; 20 ic hpts, 50 ic opks, 4 FRER, 4 Wilkos cheapies and around 6 - 8 assorted other tests.

That is a lot of peeing in ramekins!

impatienceisavirtue Mon 17-Mar-14 13:56:19

He means 20 in just this month haha. I went through a full pack of twenty last month too blush - I think 20 since January is VERY reserved

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 14:06:52

That's ok then grin I am still a little bonkers blush

Home alone for a couple of days, 13dpo and two FRERs in the cupboard... must resist.

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 14:16:26

That's very tempting! Retro when do you think you'll be testing? I'm going to start Friday, I think!

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 14:19:53

Well when I realised when DH was away I said that I would test when he got back. He gets back Wednesday evening, so I'll be testing Thursday morning (cd28, 16dpo) if AF doesn't get me first...

Must. Not. Pee.

I've been thinking about my family history of conception since reading that rather lovely post about someone's mum (sorry I can't remember who posted it, terribly rude!)

My grandmother was 40 when she conceived my DM and had no idea she was pregnant until she was 6months along and went to the GP about her bloated tummy. She apparently had bleeding throughout. Can you imagine?!

My own DM had been married for 10yrs actively trying for for nearly 2 when they decided they obviously just couldn't have kids. Plans were made to go travelling and boom..... Baby #1. Quickly followed by #2 and #3.

My DS was an absolute miracle baby too, who came from nowhere at an awful time in my life, and I was told I had little chance of holding on to my pg and he had a high likelihood of birth defects ect. But he held on and we got there, he's perfect and makes me proud and thankful everyday.

So it looks like most of the babies in my family are "when you least expect it" babies!

Now to figure out how to stop trying!confused

impatienceisavirtue Mon 17-Mar-14 14:26:47

You're 13dpo and you're resisting?!??! THAT is willpower.

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 14:29:12

may have already POAS on 11 and 12 dpo. Bfn

impatienceisavirtue Mon 17-Mar-14 14:38:49

It's okay RetroHippy I started yesterday at six flaming dpo faint but impossible line so driven even crazier

flirty30s Mon 17-Mar-14 14:44:52

Hey ladies, think I've just been kicked off the march bus sad my brown spotting has turned red. AF not due to 19th but turned up on 16th. It's quite light...convincing myself I could still be pregnant. Was so sure I had the most perfect little bean growing in there this month...

Has anyone else ever had pre AF red spotting turn into a BFP or do I need to accept the worst?

impatienceisavirtue Mon 17-Mar-14 15:11:33

flirty I had that the month before the BFP last month. Pre af spotting turned to red and then period 3 days early - is the only thing different that happened and that was month before BFP after 8 months ttc

Can I just check, did someone say grapefruit pre-ov and pineapple post-ov? Or have I got it the wrong way round?

Strangely I'm sure I read donkeys years ago that pineapple can give you an early AF. Anyone else heard this?

missmrsmummy Mon 17-Mar-14 15:48:23

Polythene That's right, think the grapefruit helps with cm and the pineapple helps with implantation! I have read you should eat the pineapple core, is that corret confused

flirty30s Mon 17-Mar-14 16:00:00

That's good to know impatience thanks! And huge congrats to you! Xo

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 16:06:15

Ooh exciting patience!

Keep peeing!!

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 16:07:41

* impatience

impatienceisavirtue Mon 17-Mar-14 16:24:16

flirty thank you but the pg didn't stick - am remaining hopefull for this month though smile and that the line wasn't evap or something which is unlikely as I did about four that day

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 16:32:26

All four with a line? POAS again tomorrow, you know you want to!

impatienceisavirtue Mon 17-Mar-14 16:34:38

Very faint but definitely - wasn't quite right though iygwim - was stronger on the edge, very weird. OPK was also positive. Then today - both neg. Very weird! Especially as it was the same story last time. But makes no sense at all unless there's some sort of spike on implantation?!

Results back but dr hasn't opened them so the receptionist couldn't see grr.

We need some bfps on this bus!

katecupoftea Mon 17-Mar-14 16:49:33

Sitting here stuffing my face.

SYMPTOM!

(2dpo)

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 16:50:27

Oh no Choccy, how frustrating. So will it be tomorrow then?

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 16:51:17

Kate, I am starving

At ALDI to do a shop; who knows what I'm going to come home with...!

They said they'll try and get someone call be before they shut at 6.

Lol Kate.

Sorry all if I was a bit off saying goodbye etc yesterday. This just sucks tbh x

Spotti Mon 17-Mar-14 17:11:58

Glad you've not left us choccy, even if life is rather shitty for you at the mo, I'm glad you're still here. I hope the doctors have something positive to say...and that they actually ring you back before they bugger off home! Fx for you hun x

Lol at kate - everything is a symptom!

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 17:27:20

Choccy, don't be daft, if you can't vent here, where can you?

We're here waiting with you. flowers

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 17:31:05

Choccy if that dickbint of a dr, doesn't call you tonight, she may have a bus full of angry hormonal ttcers on her case!

Nordicmom Mon 17-Mar-14 17:34:38

Big hug choccy

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 17:35:15

We'll beat her up with our pom-poms.

Still waiting.....

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 17:41:45

Call back and cry on the phone?

impatienceisavirtue Mon 17-Mar-14 17:42:59

Good luck *choccy thanks

lindamagoo Mon 17-Mar-14 17:43:05

Just rang. Gone. Gutted. off to get severely pissed.

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 17:45:34

lindamagoo Mon 17-Mar-14 17:48:38

So sorry Choccy hmmthanks

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 17:49:06

What is the world coming to? I really wish this was an isolated incident! Nhs typical crapola!

Starbright24 Mon 17-Mar-14 17:53:21

That's shitty choccy. What an inconsiderate doctor. sad

As in baby has gone not dr.

flirty30s Mon 17-Mar-14 17:58:38

So sorry choccy and impatience too thanks
Sent DH out to get a Chinese and some fanny pads
Started looking up my new due date. Fingers crossed for Christmas babies all round!!

Spotti Mon 17-Mar-14 17:58:57

Oh noooo!

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 17:59:03

Oh choccy I'm so very sorry. thanks sad

It's ok. Feel very shit and like this is never going to happen.
Going to email the profs secretary tonight to see if I need a month off.

kurama Mon 17-Mar-14 18:31:36

so sorry choccy i agree go and get pissed and try to have fun. tinking of you xxx

Gingerbreadlady1 Mon 17-Mar-14 18:40:54

So so sorry choccy, it's so bloody unfair x

We've just booked the f1 in singapore, that's made me feel a bit better.
Was debating whether to do it (dh is 40 in May, and was born in singapore due to his dad's job) as I would've been 7 months gone and very borderline if I could fly (there was days in it). Anyway, was meant to be a surprise but I've told him.
So we've just said fuck it let's go.
Only for 5 days, and will miss ds like nothing else.
Looking forward to our month in France end of next month for his actual birthday, so maybe that's when miracles may happen smile

Choccy....so shit for you, I'm so sorry but hopefully the prof will be able to help you and big Yay to F1 in Singapore.....that will be amazing!!

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 18:50:35

Choccy what a positive step. My dh would be so envy to go! He's a die hard f1 fan, alas we are only contemplating spa if we ever get paid but Singapore! Wowsers!! Brilliant to have things to look forward to winewinewinewine

sazzlehopes Mon 17-Mar-14 18:51:59

Choccy I'm so sorry for you. Pleased you have two awesome holidays to look forward. Small consolation I know....but still. Sending hugs and gin xxxx

sazzlehopes Mon 17-Mar-14 18:53:32

MrsE venos is rank and I gagged every time. It did give me my bfp that month though after 14 long months. And to be honest if have drunk camel piss if I thought it would have helped

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 18:59:33

Sazzle stupidly I didn't believe the bottle stating "treacle". Even with this flu virus it's still tastes like glunky shit! But I will think of bfp and try my best not to vomit

KittyVonCatsington Mon 17-Mar-14 19:09:32

Didn't want to hear that, Choccy - feel so angry/sad on your behalf as it's incomprehensible why this keeps happening to you thanks
Was thinking about you earlier today - was walking behind a couple pushing their newborn and both had a ciggie in their hand and mum was resting her fag on the handle which was similar height to baby. I silently judged how unfair it was that they were so cavalier about their baby and you were going through such pain. Gaaah!!

Fingerscrossed36 Mon 17-Mar-14 19:20:29

Choccy keeping my fingers crossed you have an enjoyable and relaxing time in France, and have better luck xx

So jealous of your Singapore trip, something I'd absolutely love to do. Hope you have an amazing time

Sending hugs xx

Fingerscrossed36 Mon 17-Mar-14 19:22:24

Got my BOGOF FRER today so I'm all set for fmu tomorrow keeping my fingers firmly crossed. CD43

Let you know tomorrow

katecupoftea Mon 17-Mar-14 19:26:22

So sorry Choccy, get thoroughly pissed tonight and have a damn good cry. xx

katecupoftea Mon 17-Mar-14 19:29:37

Good luck tomorrow fingers!!

Thanks all.

Kitty I think about that all the time. We rent a house to a couple who had adopted 3 little girls from the same druggie parents. There is another child somewhere else and she's pregnant with another. Makes me so angry and utterly pissed off. It's so unfair. We've got a lovely home and loving family yet here we are struggling.
We'll get there I know we will, it'll just take a bit longer than I set out to take.

Anyway, the rest of you give us some bfps, we need some happiness for March and more mini penis dragons

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 19:48:46

So sorry Choccy, your trips sound awesome and something to look forward to. I like the idea of a holiday baby (why not use the place of conception for a name?! Katie Hopkins wouldn't approve wink)

Definitely get shitfaced tonight, have a good cry and a rant, and surround yourself with people you love.

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 19:52:07

double the fun

Not particularly inspiring size-wise, but I think we've used most of them!

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 19:53:19

Sorry, that appears to be a link within a link. I'm not very good at this...

KittyVonCatsington Mon 17-Mar-14 20:02:02

Got my BOGOF FRER today

So did I grin last two twin packs on the shelf as well! Prob won't even need them till next cycle anyway...

Eeesh! I've got to stop feeling negative. Besides, I can't bear it when I hear of the BFNs-I want everyone to get a BfP together and move over to the antenatal clubs at the same time. Sometimes I daydream this happens...

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 20:07:51

What a lovely daydream Kitty. I feel like us dragon ladies have really bonded, how fantastic would it be to all manage to get on the a/n bus at the same time. And especially those who have been trying for so long.

impatienceisavirtue Mon 17-Mar-14 20:13:09

Ooo they're still on BOGOF? I know where DH will be sent after work tomorrow grin

Choccy I am so sorry to hear that - I hope you all have a fab time.

impatienceisavirtue Mon 17-Mar-14 20:13:49

Oh and I'm bloody symptom spotting AGAIN. I will never learn. To add to the insomnia and crankiness I now also have had an outbreak of bad skin. Just like I did last month.....

barmybunting Mon 17-Mar-14 20:13:57

Choccy I am so very sorry to see your update today. It is just utterly shit, life really is not fair nor does is make sense at times.

Your travel plans sound fabulous. Something to look forward so and focus on is a really good idea.

I'm sending you a hug, and hoping you have much wine or brew this evening, depending on what you prefer.

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 20:59:15

Anyone else about to settle down to OBEM? I find it fascinating and vaguely horrifying! I figure if it doesn't put me off I must be broody grin

katecupoftea Mon 17-Mar-14 20:59:58

IT'S ALL SYMPTOMS impatience!

Along with the hunger I have constipation. Deffo preggo innit.

katecupoftea Mon 17-Mar-14 21:00:51

Yes Retro! Still yet to cry though at an episode.

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 21:03:45

I cried all the way through 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' this afternoon. blush

And had to pee at least four times.

When are you planning to POAS Kate?

katecupoftea Mon 17-Mar-14 21:05:46

Only 2dpo.

So probably in about 2 days. That is the way of the penis dragonners.

Peeing 4 times? SYMPTOM!

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 21:14:09

And the tears. Don't forget the tears!

SYMPTOM!

That first ten days seem like a million years. What plans do you have this weekend to take your mind off the 2ww?

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 21:18:00

And grin at constipation and hunger being SYMPTOMS at 2dpo! Makes me feel better for doing it at 13.

So far:
Less spots than usual
Ill. Very, very ill. This cold/flu has gone on forever
Hungry
Wide awake early am
Sleepy early pm
Hungry
Peeing
Crying at adverts
Hungry

KittyVonCatsington Mon 17-Mar-14 21:24:39

I still have a really really dry mouth-ever since yesterday afternoon. No matter how much I drink, I can get rid! Probably means I'm chronically low in oestrogen or something hmm Symptoms, shmymptons!!!!

Not the news I wanted to check back and see Choccy. I feel so utterly sorry for you. You've been through the mill!! Sending you a big virtual hug. You will get there, stay strong and look after yourself, enjoy a glass of wine or two! And what a lovely couple of holidays you have to look forward to. We'll be here to support you when every you need. Rant away.

katecupoftea Mon 17-Mar-14 21:26:13

Those are some good symptoms you've good! How are your boobs?

I did some serious symptom spotting last month and think it just falsely got my hopes up so just making a joke of it this time. EVERYTHING'S A SYMPTOM.

Bugger all this weekend. OH will have to hide the sticks.

When are you next testing? How long you been trying now?

nosaint Mon 17-Mar-14 21:27:43

Loving the symptom spotting, Retro. My list:

Crying when listening to Cat Stevens
Gained weight
Boobs occasionally painful
It's springtime

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 21:29:26

Nothing boob related no matter how much I poke them

Sticking with Thursday to test as yesterday's was bfn. 4th cycle trying, but I've been waiting to try for years. It's certainly been an excercise in patience.

What about you? Is this your first?

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 21:30:23

nosaint, Cat Stevens and Spring are brilliant symptoms grin

katecupoftea Mon 17-Mar-14 21:32:11

OW OW FEELING HER C-SECTION OW OW

katecupoftea Mon 17-Mar-14 21:34:43

Yes first one, on second month trying, first month coincided with my wedding so due to stress/busy stuff in the lead up we missed the window so to speak.

I was leaning on my boob earlier. I got excited that it hurt then realised. Leany boob not a symptom, same as pokey boob.

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 21:35:08

I know! So brave. I think I'd be having nightmares forever. <shudders>

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 21:35:56

I'm envy that your boobs are big enough to lean on. I'd need to ask someone else to lean on mine!

Spotti Mon 17-Mar-14 21:36:00

I am so glad it's not just me going "ooh...eeeeeee...ow! >cringe<"

No fecking symptoms here apart from a twingey tummy yesterday!! Cycle pissing 7 is looming!! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccckkkkkkk

Sorry for my tourettey outburst!

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 21:38:26

Go crazy English we all know swearing is funny.

Feck! Arse!

katecupoftea Mon 17-Mar-14 21:41:54

No, am 34B/32C, I was just leaning reeeeally far over the table! School marking woes.

When will Mother FUCKING Nature give me a FUCKING bfp! Her BITCHY presence is not welcome on this bus! FUCK off you WHORE

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 21:46:31

Haha! I've been putting off reports all day. So ivevgot that to look forward to tomorrow hmm

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 21:46:57

That's it English! You fucking go for it!!!

that should do it!! Hopefully she'll get the hint!!

katecupoftea Mon 17-Mar-14 21:47:48

You tell that twat English!

of course i don't swear that much in RL....I'm a lady wink

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 21:50:20

I'm not grin

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 21:53:17

Well ive told dh if we don't get paid soon I'll have to go out braless!blush I'm a bra obsessive, with a large number 87 in my drawer. But they are all too small! I'm a 32f usually, I've got a 32g for fat days, but am spilling out of that too! They ache like mad!!! Probably not helped by my achy tight chest either.

Now have any of you noticed darker arioli? I had this before I'd even peed on a stick once, caught a glimpse in the mirror and though oi oi it's time for a test. So far I've not noticed anything but I'm on nipple watch!

Littlebear81 Mon 17-Mar-14 21:58:23

Really sorry to hear your news choccy. Sending you a virtual hug!

I've already started symptom spotting and don't even know if I've ovulated yet this month! Just pigged out on a massive chocolate desert during OBEM and don't even feel guilty.

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 21:59:50

No boob change at all. And I do keep stopping by mirrors (in the house obviously) to check.

The size increase certainly sounds promising! But seriously, 87 bras?! I think I have three that is wear every day in rotation, and a few more for sexy times or nice events. And two of those are from Aldi grin

katecupoftea Mon 17-Mar-14 22:01:32

How did the dark nippled test end up Mrs?

Cor, great bra size. Might develop a boob crush on you.

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 22:08:21

Haha, boob crush. I once got told I had perfect breasts.

I was 22 though, and he was pretty drunk wink

<looks down> they'd fall into the 'ok' category now.

katecupoftea Mon 17-Mar-14 22:16:24

Mine are average at best. Have a bit of a weird-nip problem. A bastard of an ex once said they looked like the mouth of an old tortoise.

Owlie84 Mon 17-Mar-14 22:21:56

Aw Kate! sad( I don't have any nips at all - sad((((
But my boobs are tingling and hurt quite a bit for the first time in ages - hopefully a good sign! I think I'm 10 or 11 dpo so going to test on thurs I think.

Choccy I hope you're doing ok this evening. I'm thinking g of you thanks

RetroHippy Mon 17-Mar-14 22:33:25

I think whatever our feminine quirks are, when you compare them to the male counterpart we have no reason to complain grin

At least our genitals are neat and tidy ish as long as you don't look too closely

bellaboo88 Mon 17-Mar-14 22:40:18

Just had to stop by & send my virtual best wishes to chocky, im gutted but quite sure it will happen for you soon.

Hehehe leany boob, I wonder if its worth me noting boob pain in my cycles as have little real boob and I'm plastic fantastic. Had a nightmare last week they'd encapsulated & I had to have them redone & put off TTC!

Bfp soon for us lurkers to get excited about please!!!

MissMrsMummy Mon 17-Mar-14 22:42:22

Haha like the nip talk! Mine are really small! I didn't really know until I saw my friend breast feed yesterday and hers were huge! Will mine get bigger if when I get pg? I kind of hope so but kind of don't want huge scary teat-tits! hmm

impatienceisavirtue Mon 17-Mar-14 22:47:04

My boobs were actually leaking last month - and it was VERY early days. Crazy! I haven't been checking regularly this month honestly of course I flaming well have

I have really small boobs and nips. They did get slightly bigger with my DS and bf. I think some people get massive changes.

MrsExtraOrdinary Mon 17-Mar-14 22:49:32

Kate the nipples symptom turned into my 6 year old son. I did a test after that, negative, looked at it again a few hours later and there was half a line there. It was the worlds worst timed pg but I was determined to have him, even though I'd left my hb and was on my own. It was actually very liberating and only good came from it.

How very dare that man comparing nipples to a tortoise! I hope you had some firm words in the description of his wonky genitalia!

I confess 87 is really obsessive. I think I'm addicted to buying them. It came about because I'm such an awkward size whenever I found one I'd just buy it! 87 bras later I need a clear out. But I'm a bit addicted now. I do find my boobs fluctuate depending on my level of thinness obviously bordering on fat at the mo

Well my DH is always making jokes about my apparently big nipples! We compare mine to anyone we see in the media who might happen to have their tits out!! I don't think mine are that big, but a bit concerned they may take over my whole boob when i do get pg!! shock

Treaclepie19 Mon 17-Mar-14 23:36:53

Just had to read back like 4 pages!

Sorry ladies, been to the opera with DH smile Then cone back to watch Mr Selfridge.

Gingerbreadlady1 Mon 17-Mar-14 23:41:15

treacle I'm catching up too, & cackling like an old crone reading back. Been out for a lovely meal and lots of red wine, not a great idea as ovulating but it's month nine-fucking-teen TTC!!!

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 04:25:00

I suppose the advantage of waking up hungry at 4am for the last week is that I do blearily flush my fmu and therefore the temptation to pee.

Zermatt Tue 18-Mar-14 04:30:46

What I like about temping;

a) the pretty graph
b) seeing patterns on the pretty graph
c) feeling like I am doing something each day in regards to TTC
d) confirmation that ov has happened and how many dpo I am

What I hate about temping;

a) the fact I sleep lighter now as when I go to sleep I keep thinking about when I can wake up and temp (currently waking at 3am, 5am and 7am)
b) the fact that I start every day thinking about ttc regardless of when I am in my cycle
c) yet another thing to obsess over each month (e.g. does a dip at day 8 mean implantation? It must to right, right? Am I right?)
d) The end of the 2ww when the temp does a massive dip and I know that af is now immenient.

So am not going to temp next month as I think I know enough now to just wing it (with opks)

Temp dipped today sad

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 04:36:52

I love temping zermatt, for all the reasons you said, big I totally get the thing about obsessing. I spend ages comparing my chart to the gallery on FF to see which ones are similar.

A dip isn't the end of the world. Check out the galleries!

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 04:37:13

*but

MrsExtraOrdinary Tue 18-Mar-14 04:49:42

Haha to flushing the magic wee away.

I think this flu bug could just piss off now. I've woken up with earache sad it's incredibly painful. Ds has just been sick everywhere again. I can tell today's going to be thrilling confused

Zermatt Tue 18-Mar-14 04:50:44

Haha, I do the same Retro, have spent this morning looking surreptiously at the pregnancy charts on FF looking for ones that also had a dip at 12DPO but still got a BFP wink

I've also been using the chart overlay function to compare this months chart with last month and they're so different, this time last cycle my temp was 36.10 and today its 36.62 confused Even though I say I wont chart next cycle I dont know if I can resist.....

I'm pretty sure AF is coming though as my face looks like a hawaiian pizza, my boobies are like a couple of rocks and I keep getting the familiar twinges.

Fingerscrossed36 Tue 18-Mar-14 06:45:50

Peed on my frer and a bfn sad CD44

I'm at a complete loss as to the length of my cycle now, also insufficient dtd will now have taken place for this to be our month

Come on witch so I can try and work out what the hell is going on.

AF - 14th Jul, 26th Aug, 26th Dec, 2nd Feb don't suppose I should be all that surprised

Owlie84 Tue 18-Mar-14 07:00:13

Oh no Fingers sorry to hear about the BFN sad I got one too this morning on an IC after telling myself I wouldn't until Thursday sad fuck sake, I'm so stupid.

Zermatt Tue 18-Mar-14 07:02:03

How early are you all testing?

Zermatt Tue 18-Mar-14 07:02:49

sorry Fingers just read your post, it must be excriciatingly frustrating for you.

Treaclepie19 Tue 18-Mar-14 07:03:20

Don't beat yourself up owlie! We all do it!

Cd26 today, 9dpo. Am not testing til friday after testing yesterday.

katecupoftea Tue 18-Mar-14 07:09:57

mrs we didn't last long after that. His impotence issue contributed a lot to that.

fingers have you been to the dr about your cycles? Have you always had them this long?

Zermatt Tue 18-Mar-14 07:21:58

I really wouldnt mind a christmas baby if this month is a non goer, I shall call him/her Jesus Grinch Ebeneezer Penis Dragon the first.

Owlie84 Tue 18-Mar-14 07:23:07

I'm 11 or -2 dpo depending on which app I'm looking at, so AF due at the weekend. So no testing til then!

Owlie84 Tue 18-Mar-14 07:23:21

Meant 11 or 12 dpo...

katecupoftea Tue 18-Mar-14 07:26:13

Lol zermatt!!!

Haha! Zermatt! Love the name!! wink
I also love helping but once ovulation takes places I obsess, so I'm considering temping until I ov then stopping. But who am I kidding!

Sorry for the bfns sad
I'm going to poas on fri if nothing else has happened here.

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 08:16:46

I love the name Zermatt!

Zermatt Tue 18-Mar-14 08:26:04

Jeebs for short, obvs.

oh bugger... that was meant to say temp, not help!!

mama31 Tue 18-Mar-14 08:33:41

Choccy just want to say I'm so so sorry to read your news again....that is just utterly devastating, you are so strong and will get through this and will get your little miracle I know it. Your holidays sound exactly what you need and deserve right now. Huge hugs!!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone else is doing ok. Bfp's are scant on here...hoping it picks up soon.

GeorgieWilson Tue 18-Mar-14 08:43:46

Choccy i'm so sorry. I so wanted it to stick for you. It will soon I'm sure, you are far too lovely for it not to.

Hey Mama....Lovely to see you! How's things with you?

broodysnoopstie Tue 18-Mar-14 09:04:52

I am still hoping I will add a bfp to this bus. cd42 9days late. no af. Haven't tested since Sunday. Going to test tomorrow. If I make it to 2 weeks late I'll be getting a blood test done. Symptoms tingly nipples. hot pain in side of boobs on and off. back ache twinges in side a bit like ov pain headaches neckache nauseaus strong sense of smell dp's morning breath horrific!!! but mainly absolutely no sign of AF. Was wondering if I get a bfp via blood but not by urine hopes desperately does that mean I'll never see a bfp on a pee stick?

Choccy I read back. Was gutted to see your news. I'm so very sorry. sad

Laughed out loud on morning commute reading all nip talk. grin

Keep your peckers up ladies as my nan used to say! !

cth1982 Tue 18-Mar-14 09:05:57

choccybig hugs I am so sorry to hear your news and how awful the care you received was.

Loving the chart and symptom chat - just started using FF this month and it is oddly fascinating the changes your body goes through!

I am now apparently 7dpo - last month I symptom spotted WAY too much but I do have really tender boobs, backache and my face has come up really spotty (which is unusual for me) - I'm hoping these are all good signs!

impatienceisavirtue Tue 18-Mar-14 09:22:58

8DPO

Which means of course that I've lost the plot and am imagining this right?

impatienceisavirtue Tue 18-Mar-14 09:23:32

Argh you can't see it properly. One min.

impatienceisavirtue Tue 18-Mar-14 09:24:16

Arghhh work comp won't let me on canyouseealine!!!

impatienceisavirtue Tue 18-Mar-14 09:27:22
Zermatt Tue 18-Mar-14 09:27:34

I can see a line impatience

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 09:31:30

I see a line impatinence! FRER!!!

In other news; I have just taken a photo of my breasts on my phone because my nips may be a shade darker but with nothing to compare to I'm not sure blush.

Let's hope no one nicks my phone!

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 09:32:15

Oh, and I will not be posting that in here for opinions grin

MrsExtraOrdinary Tue 18-Mar-14 09:33:56

I can see it too impatience! grin why on earth did I flush my fmu away? lol

MrsExtraOrdinary Tue 18-Mar-14 09:35:29

Retro that's so funny! grin Clearly we will all have to add that to the list of crazy things we do! A pic on cd1 and cd28!! grin

Writerwannabe83 Tue 18-Mar-14 09:35:59

I can see a line!!!!! Eek!!!!

I got one just like that at about 9dpo - it didn't appear straight away though and only noticed it when I was emptying the bathroom bin a few hours later!! smile I tested again over the next few days with the same tests but kept getting BFN's so convinced myself that I'd had a one-off false positive and was pretty gutted!! Got my definite BFP at 14dpo though so I think that initial 9dpo IC was just a case of my pee having just the right concentration of HCG in it!!!

What I'm lengthily trying to say is that even if you get some BFN's over the next few days or the line doesn't get darker etc stay positive!!!! It's still early days in terms of testing but as you've had a line today I'd say it's VERY promising!!!

Exciting!!!

Writerwannabe83 Tue 18-Mar-14 09:37:50

Oh Retro that did make me laugh!!!!!

Maybe they should add an area onto the Fertility charts for daily nipple photos to see how they change over the course of the month??

I hope you are feeling ok choccy - it's all just so shitty. Take care of yourself today thanks x x

Zermatt Tue 18-Mar-14 09:38:03

PunkyPod Tue 18-Mar-14 09:41:22

oohhh impatience i can see something! can you FRER? I'm 7dpo and so tempted, i duno if i can hold out til the end of the week. Might give it a bash on Friday... Now the all important question impatience...what are your SYMPTOMS!!!!????

So sorry to read your post choccy i hope your prof has some good advise and something else you can try for next cycle?

I was giggling at the nip chat too. I think my bee stings get a bit fuller when preggo but not too much change. However they were like rocks when BF. My areola (sp?) also got a bit darker. Havenot noticed any symptoms at all yet but i cant really remember if i did with DD before testing. I know my real symptoms kicked in around 8 weeks (sense of smell, exhaustion, nausea).

impatienceisavirtue Tue 18-Mar-14 09:41:30

I am snorting at "canyouseemynips"!

I took two and both had the same line- both within the three minutes!!!

I am not letting myself get excited though - don't want to go through the letdown of last month. Clearly I'm not doing very well at that and I'm over the moon but pretending not to be for DH's sake as he took it badly last time

I don't understand how it's even possible though as I'm not even due on for 6 days - I definitely OVed when I was supposed to as used OPKs etc.

impatienceisavirtue Tue 18-Mar-14 09:43:58

Oh and my nips are definitely darker this morning and feel super heavy

Zermatt Tue 18-Mar-14 09:45:13

Do you have any other symptoms impatience? Definitely do a FRER ASAP and keeping all my crossable bits crossed for you

Writerwannabe83 Tue 18-Mar-14 09:45:46

Well they say some eggs implant at 6dpo and then it takes another 2 days for the HCG levels to be high enough to be detected...

I guess your egg is a quick swimmer and got to your lining at super speed smile

Nordicmom Tue 18-Mar-14 09:50:26

3 dpo here I think . Boobs slightly sore and can feel my right ovary aching again . Nausea has continued pretty constantly with my chronic illness for weeks so that doesn't help . I'm always so hopeful around ov and ttc and then this waiting gets me down in the dumps . DH doesn't believe it ever working out for me anymore but I'm trying to believe it could to keep on going . I do wonder if there'd be any point in ivf or would the result just be the same unless we use a surrogate which is bloody complicated . To be honest if I won the lottery I'd go for the surrogacy even despite the logistical difficulties with DS and dd . I wish ...
Choccy I'm so very sorry for you sad! I know what it's like . Please don't loose your hope , you can get there eventually even if it's more complicated . Try to look into the future and make plans . Your upcoming holidays sound like a great idea . I wish you all the best and I hope a reason is found unlike for me . Big hugs

impatienceisavirtue Tue 18-Mar-14 10:02:36

Zermatt Thank you - am also crossed! Will be doing a FRER tomorrow morning - I have a stockpile haha..
Symptoms - my skin is playing up and according to DH "I'm really sorry to say this darling, but you were a bit of a cow this weekend" - for him to say that must have been I was awful haha. I do remember telling him that his "stupid face was annoying me". He is very lovely. Also trouble sleeping which I had last time too.

Writer I'm hoping that's it - I had to keep looking to make sure I wasn't imagning it with it being so early!!

PunkyPod Tue 18-Mar-14 10:04:15

oh and tortoise nips - hillarious. and completely bloody rude!

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 10:29:42

'Your stupid face is annoying me.'

Priceless!!

Zermatt Tue 18-Mar-14 10:34:01

I got all over excited and riled up after impatience's positive test and just peed on an opk, I'm so confused sad

Nordicmom Tue 18-Mar-14 10:36:07

Impatience , I can see a faint line too smile. Good luck !

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 10:41:41

Zermatt, did you mean to pee on something? Cause I can see how you'd be confused if not grin

Did you get a positive OPK? SYMPTOM!! (No really, it is)

Right, I've got shitloads of stuff to do now I'm finally feeling a bit better and I've been sat on my arse for days, so I'm not allowed to obsess on here until this evening. If anyone sees me, I am to be banished and told not to return until 7pm.

Choccy, I hope the hangover isn't too bad today. brew

Zermatt Tue 18-Mar-14 10:55:20

Yeah there was a faint line but not as dark as the control line.

I didn't go to the toilet intending to pee on one, but they are in the drawer next to the loo and one thing led to another and it just happened blush

impatienceisavirtue Tue 18-Mar-14 11:01:39

Retro bless him, I think at the time of that remark his heinous crime had been to suggest we went out for dinner to see if it would help with my mood. I was a cow, it's true ha ha.

Nordic thankyou thanks

Zermatt the drawer next to my loo contains my pee sticks also, which is why I've been going through them at such a rate blush

It's even worse as I'm so neurotic one won't do. If I'm gonna pee on a stick, I almost always pee on four. Two HPT and two OPK. Just to be sure one isn't faulty blush

Also the OPKs this morning are on the rise so hopefully yours rising is also a good sign!

lindamagoo Tue 18-Mar-14 11:05:54

Can I ask a quick question to whoever checks their cervix? Other than cm what changes should I be looking for around ov time?

impatienceisavirtue Tue 18-Mar-14 11:11:53

Linda closed high and soft iirc.

BUT it doesn't really mean anything in all honesty. Everyone is different, and it can change/some people don't get this until quite late on so isn't realiable

Zermatt Tue 18-Mar-14 11:12:55

High soft and open Linda, the magical combination smile

lindamagoo Tue 18-Mar-14 11:20:10

And does the change happen before ov or at ov? First time I've ever done this and it's high quite soft and open, cd12 today

Ooh impatience I can see a line!! How exciting and super early!

Lovin' the nip talk and the photo taking!!

Writerwannabe83 Tue 18-Mar-14 11:21:18

I didn't go to the toilet intending to pee on one, but they are in the drawer next to the loo and one thing led to another and it just happened blush grin grin

hahaha Zermatt - I remember peeing on an OPK because I didn't have any HPT left. As I was doing it I was thinking, "You have officially become crazy!!"

However, it led to a very dark positive which in turn led to me posting on here about how confused I was about why I was ovulating when I was supposed to be due a period. This then led to me being told that a strong positive OPK can mean a BFP and so I ran to my local shop for a HPT and BINGO smile

I always class my OPK pee experience as when I first got my BFP smile

impatienceisavirtue Tue 18-Mar-14 11:26:00

Sorry misread - didn't realise you meant around OV and thought you were asking if preg had occurred blush

lindamagoo Tue 18-Mar-14 11:27:58

That's ok impatience smile

impatienceisavirtue Tue 18-Mar-14 12:01:23

Oh and another possible symptom - random throbby bits from 6 dpo blush

Treaclepie19 Tue 18-Mar-14 12:30:46

Ohhhh my days, looking good impatience!!!!

Now wishing i hadnt flushed my fmu away.
Symptoms - feel like af coming
Stroppy
In tears at work yesterday over nothing (i never cry at work)
Tired as always
Constipated

However, still feel im out.

BearsInMotion Tue 18-Mar-14 12:52:39

See, when DD was on her way I had completely misunderstood basic biology my cycles and decided I couldn't possibly be pg. So I had no symptoms at all. Now, 10 days after DTD I have no symptoms. Which means I must be pg, right?!

Ahhhh I can see a faint little line there Impatience!! Yay!! Hope this is your sticky one!!

Linda - i think the changes happen in the days leading up to ov to allow the spermies in. Get shagging!!

Zermatt Tue 18-Mar-14 13:32:35

Have you heard of the penis fertility festival in Japan?

I think I want to go

Owlie84 Tue 18-Mar-14 13:33:51

OMG Zermatt that's hilarious! Do you think we could get a package deal?

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 13:39:15

grin grin grin

<shuffles out whistling> nothing to see here...

Treaclepie19 Tue 18-Mar-14 13:46:15

RETRO! You are meant to be busy! haha.

I had to just stop myself from POAS. I did a little jig between the bathroom and bedroom, couldn't decide whether to go and get a stick or not.

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 13:50:02

Resist! Resist! <runs away to chain self to laptop>

Treaclepie19 Tue 18-Mar-14 14:30:22

Hahaha I'm doing the same. Going to curl up and watch OBEM later as I missed it yesterday.

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 14:35:18

I just made myself poached eggs on crumpets. They were runny (I forgot) but I figure I'm not pg yet so ate them anyway.

They were perfect, fresh, free-range, just the right consistency...

They tasted of cheese sad.

SYMPTOM!!! also, my back aches...

MissMrsMummy Tue 18-Mar-14 14:35:52

Zermatt I saw that festival on Karl Pilkington's programme last year and thought what a load of idiots they were... now I'm one of them! If there was a festival a bit more local, I'd be there!

MissMrsMummy Tue 18-Mar-14 14:36:15

impatience I CAN SEE A LINE! Woop x

mama31 Tue 18-Mar-14 15:01:46

Congrats impatience smile glad to see another bfp for the bus....hope they roll in now!

Hi English, I'm good thanks how are you doing? I'm 5dpo. DH gets SA next week so I'm glad things are moving for us and hoping to get a bfp well before August when we will get our fertility appointment through. Hoping for this month to be our month of course! Ever optimistic!!! Where are you in your cycle?

Hope everyone else is ok. Retro you are hillarious! Your posts always make me laugh!

Hazelbrowneyes Tue 18-Mar-14 15:05:40

Hmm, I think I may have missed ovulation blush

I'm on CD16 and still patiently waiting for the little line on the OPK to be the same colour as the control line. Except I think it may have happened on CD12. We examined the OPK and part of the line was as dark as the control line, but the other half wasn't. we dtd anyway

Since then the OPK has been getting lighter, almost unable to see the test line at all. Now I've just noticed that my CM has gone creamy. So I'm guessing I may have ovulated on CD12.

I'll carry on using the OPKs for a few more days as I had a 34 day cycle last month but I'm expecting it to just be negative.

I thought OPKs would stop all this wondering. I was obviously wrong. grin

Treaclepie19 Tue 18-Mar-14 15:12:03

Haha I had runny eggs over the weekend. I forgot also!
Definitely a symptom!!!
I'm getting all teary again, SYMPTOM!!!

MrsExtraOrdinary Tue 18-Mar-14 15:24:31

I had my lovely cleaning lady here today. My house is sparking grin however I don't feel able to stop for lunch scoff my face while she's busying away with the cleaning. She went at 3, I've demolished a Jaffa cake packet in 20 minutes! confused Symptom?! Was definitely several total eclipses!

Treaclepie19 Tue 18-Mar-14 15:26:57

Ive just been thinking... This was my attempt at a December baby... As my due date would be 30th Nov so guessing it would really be december...
I'd prefer December baby to Jan I think. Not that I care as long as I get a baby...

Come on little bean!

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 15:47:30

I've done nothing today. Ok, I sorted out some documents for the move (eeeek!) but work stuff... Nada.

I desperately want to know if this is it or if I'll we'll be at it again in two weeks. No sign of AF, cervix is high, plus other symptoms. But I am fully aware that I may be attributing flu symptoms to pg, or making up things that I wouldn't have noticed just because I know it's a possibility.

I so wish I was one of those people who could be really laid back about it all, but my habit of over-analysing is really coming to the fore. And much as I imagine that I'll be so much more laid back when I'm actually pg, I know I won't be. I really hope this is it because I think two out of every four weeks like this for a long time will send me more bonkers than I am already.

I am not to cave and poas tomorrow. I said the 20th, and the 20th it will be...

Treaclepie19 Tue 18-Mar-14 15:56:15

I know how you feel sad I'm naturally quite anxious so find it all very frustrating!
How many dpo are you?

I said id test friday before going out for dads meal but that is still only 12dpo...

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 16:06:22

I'm 14 dpo! So AF due any second. And an FRER should show a positive. But DH is away and I don't want to find out and not be able to tell him. So Thursday it is.

<hides FRER in high up cupboard>

Treaclepie19 Tue 18-Mar-14 16:14:48

I don't know how you are stopping yourself!!!

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 16:35:20

The tests are calling meeeee!

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 16:36:30

and I'm terrified that it'll be a bfn and it's late enough now that it's pretty much definitely going to be right and I'm on my own and I'd just sit and cry all evening

sazzlehopes Tue 18-Mar-14 16:38:01

Retro you are so patient!!! How an earth are you not peeing on everything in sight?!!! Roll on thursday then! Good luck!

Treaclepie19 Tue 18-Mar-14 16:39:10

Yeah, thinking of it like that its best not to test. Hope AF doesn't come!

I'm worrying I will have a long cycle due to ovulating late. We will see I guess.

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 16:44:06

What can I pee on instead? I ran out of OPKs last week. Maybe I can fish an old one out of the cupboard?

I suppose doing my work would take my mind off it... Nah!

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 16:47:01

Hungry again... Snickers or apple?

Snickers and apple!

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 16:47:37

If I'm not upduffed I may as well resign myself to getting fat hmm

nosaint Tue 18-Mar-14 16:56:51

Ooooohhhh this thread is getting exciting!

Treaclepie19 Tue 18-Mar-14 17:14:26

Haha i havent been able to stop eating today either retro. Nothing unusual for me.

katecupoftea Tue 18-Mar-14 17:36:16

Woooooo impatience! I can't wait for the confirmation for you tomorrow on the FRER! So so pleased.

Hazel good to see you cycle chum buddy any other word that is less cringey. Exactly the same happened with me! Lines never got dark enough, did it a lot anyway and then cm went away and now today it's turned creamy. I'm going to test a week on Saturday unless I cave before but hated all the BFNs.

impatienceisavirtue Tue 18-Mar-14 17:40:36
MrsExtraOrdinary Tue 18-Mar-14 17:42:14

Impatience thanks so pleased for you!

impatienceisavirtue Tue 18-Mar-14 17:46:46

Thank you - I'm trying very very hard to keep calm and not get excited in case it happens again. Failing! Will be on pins for a while. Can't believe it happened again so quickly as it took eight months and then two months in a row!! I'll be staying on ttc rather than moving across for this cycle if that's ok

Also please feel free to use this to justify crazy early testing grin as there was a super faint smidge of a line at 6dpo I'd convinced myself wasn't really there and this is 8dpo and not fmu!!!

RetroHippy Tue 18-Mar-14 17:48:56

lalalalala < fingers in ears> I can't hear you!

Fab news impatience! So pleased for you grin

katecupoftea Tue 18-Mar-14 17:50:14

Well, if you insist impatience! <trots off to POAS at 3dpo>

Tilly28 Tue 18-Mar-14 17:50:39

Woohoo! Congratulations impatience there's definitely a line! :-) I am nervously awaiting to see if AF shows its self on Saturday. That would be a 28 day cycle however as it's first month off pill and TTC I have no idea really when to expect it. :-)

katecupoftea Tue 18-Mar-14 17:51:01

Honestly though, so pleased for you and keeping my fingers crossed it sticks. Completely get not wanting to move on yet. Plus we'd like you sticking around!

katecupoftea Tue 18-Mar-14 17:53:12

Sticking around for the right reasons I meant, not the wrong ones!

Treaclepie19 Tue 18-Mar-14 18:07:16

Congrats impatience!!!
Hoping I just implant later as i tested at 8dpo and bfn.
So gonna struggle not to test tomorrow.
