Feeling hopeful! Anyone else due their AF around the same time?

shelterbelter Sun 19-Jan-14 20:46:02

Yes me.

Due AF on the 27th but going to test on the 24th as my birthday that day.

5th cycle trying for number 2.

Good luck x

MrsMac1397 Sun 19-Jan-14 21:07:32

I'm due to test on 24th but my hubby is away next week so not testing until 27th when be gets back, if I make it that far.

This is cycle 5 ttc number 1.

I'm swaying between convinced I am and convinced I'm not. blush

Good luck ladies! smile

Seb101 Sun 19-Jan-14 21:17:03

I'm due on the 28th !!!! 7th month trying to conceive and so desperately hoping for a positive. I'm already desperately symptom spotting... Keep us posted ladies. Lets hope we all get our positives smile)) xx

Pickles79 Sun 19-Jan-14 21:30:16

I came off the pill in July but my cycle was all over the place until the last two months. Every month since stopping the pill I've been convinced I was pregnant and always been crushingly dissapointed. Fingers crossed ladies x

newforest Sun 19-Jan-14 21:55:14

I'm due 28th. Third cycle (first of really trying!!); trying for number 1. No symptoms at all, even pretend ones!

Cakebaker35 Mon 20-Jan-14 13:47:55

Yes I'm in, due anytime from 25th thanks to slightly wonky cycle. Feeling it's very unlikely partly due to cycle not settling down so it was difficult to be sure when I ov'd, plus it's just been a really busy month so haven't DTD as much as we should've. But clinging onto a tiny bit of hope, just waiting to see if AF turns up. Good luck everyone x

mattsmama Mon 20-Jan-14 14:10:09

Hi Ladies - normally have a perfect 28 day cycle and would be due on the 28th but last month AF showed 4 days early (very unusual for me) and I appear to have ovulated earlier this month. So due from 24th onwards I think. Also not holding out much hope as hubby was working away at the important time so managed it only once when it mattered! Doesn't stop me obsessing though! Have had cramping for a week and sore boobs but had that last month so who knows? I very stupidly keep giving into my POAS obsession! Negatives all the way of course as its still too early. This is cycle two of TTC no three by the way. Good luck to everyone ! x

shelterbelter Mon 20-Jan-14 15:00:39

Has anyone had any symptoms yet???

Pickles79 Mon 20-Jan-14 15:57:57

I've got sore boobs (which I don't get with my period) but not sure if I'm imagining it!

Cakebaker35 Mon 20-Jan-14 16:01:35

Pickles that sounds promising! Just throbbing slightly crampy in one side of tummy but that's v likely to be AF on its way...

Pickles79 Mon 20-Jan-14 23:49:16

I've just realised I've got my dates mixed up! I'm actually due AF on 25th not 28th!

Cakebaker35 Tue 21-Jan-14 08:25:09

Hooray pickles a few less mad days to wait then!

Pickles79 Tue 21-Jan-14 08:47:18

Yes but I've woken with a bloated and painful tummy so think AF will arrive any day

Foxsticks Tue 21-Jan-14 08:58:59

Hi all, can I gatecrash? I'm due on 29th. Second cycle of ttc number 2 since I miscarried last year. I've had a raging thirst since Saturday which I had with both previous pregnancies so am feeling hopeful but trying not to get my hopes up. I'm desperate to be pregnant again, two of my closest friends are and one is due the day after my baby would have been due.

Fingers crossed for everyone.

Cakebaker35 Tue 21-Jan-14 09:12:51

Pickles, me too, feel AF is imminent but let's hang in there together!

Welcome fox, sorry to hear of your mc, fingers crossed this is your lucky cycle.

Pickles79 Tue 21-Jan-14 14:37:07

Hello Foxsticks

Is it weird I'm trying to not go for a wee until I'm really desperate because I'm worried once I'm there I'll discover AF has arrived?! Argh I'm going mad.

cheshirem2b Tue 21-Jan-14 16:52:45

Hi!
1st cycle TTC #1
AF due on 28th Jan... It's been a long month this month - or it feels that way!
I think I'm noticing twinges and aches much more than before i started TTC... symptom spotting alert!!! wink

LightsPlease Tue 21-Jan-14 17:42:36

Hi ladies,
Af due 29th although cycle is all over the place so who knows.
Breasts have been slightly aching but not sure if thats because af is due.
Also this might sound strange but I don't need the toilet but then all of a sudden I am desperate and need to go NOW. Anyone else?
Might be in my head because this the third month trying to concieve after having to wait two years after miscarriage.

LightsPlease Tue 21-Jan-14 17:43:55

Pickles what has made you think you had concieved the last few months?

Pickles79 Tue 21-Jan-14 18:15:39

LightsPlease, no real symptoms, just blind hope and optimism I think hah!

LightsPlease Tue 21-Jan-14 18:21:31

I understand. Fingers crossed this is the month for you! If af is due next week when would you reckon symptoms could start ?

Lovecuppy Tue 21-Jan-14 18:25:02

Please can I join :-) AF due 28th if I have a 28 day cycle like last month.... It's been variable since coming of the pill. 5 days PO and desperately trying not to symptom spot..... And failing!! Constantly poking at boobs and have been getting some low down cramps since 3 days PO. Good luck everyone :-)

Pickles79 Tue 21-Jan-14 18:30:48

To be fair, with my two pregnancies (bearing in mind they were 12&10 yrs ago, I honestly don't remember having any symptoms before testing. I was ttc with both and tested on day of missed AF and it wasn't until I was around 6-8 that I had any pregnancy related signs like nausea or tender breasts or needing to wee a lot.

Foxsticks Tue 21-Jan-14 18:43:57

Although I do remember having a lot of cramping pains in early pregnancy. They really felt like AF was on the way but it was implantation pains. I instantly knew I was pregnant last year when I drank a Starbucks and it tasted horrible and made me feel ill. I couldn't drink coffee at all when pregnant with dd and it was the same last time. It's not over until the fat lady sings!

Foxsticks Tue 21-Jan-14 18:47:02

Sorry I missed your last post I was thought you had said you had cramps. Symptom spotting can send you bonkers.

Pickles79 Tue 21-Jan-14 18:47:08

I've been drinking orange juice for the last three days despite hating it and not touching it for years. Sign, or just my vitamin lacking body crying out of it?? Haha

nicx240187 Tue 21-Jan-14 18:58:32

Hi my AF due 30th. Keeping fingers crossed for me and you all xx

Foxsticks Tue 21-Jan-14 18:59:14

You've reminded me that I started drinking milk when pregnant despite hating it! Could be a sign!

Bearsandtoys Tue 21-Jan-14 19:08:24

My AF is due on the 28th too. I hate the random symptom spotting. I poke my boobs about every 2 minutes to check if they are sore!

Lovecuppy Tue 21-Jan-14 19:16:34

Me too bears! I have never looked and poked them so much :-)

LightsPlease Tue 21-Jan-14 21:47:31

I jump up and down to see if they hurt. Silly really because first pregnancy I didn't know until I was almosts seven weeks but now im thinking ive got symptoms a few days after sex.

Hazelbrowneyes Wed 22-Jan-14 08:22:18

Going by last month, I'm due on 31st Jan but it's only second month off the pill so who knows!

Last month I had ovulation cramps on CD18. This month I had similar cramps on CD14 (but was expecting more on CD18 as I had cramps on CD14 last month too!) and nothing, so I either ovulated on 14th or I'm yet to ovulate and my cycle is all over the place! Guess I'll find out next week!

Seb101 Wed 22-Jan-14 08:40:41

I understand the not wanting to go to the toliet until desperate! That fear of finding af has arrived. There are times I daren't look down in case it's there. Absolutely crazy.!!!!

No symptoms at all here, either of impending af or pregnancy.

Foxsticks Wed 22-Jan-14 08:53:18

I'm now wondering if my symptoms are because I started 5:2 and are not pregnancy related? I'm tempted to POAS on Friday, which is a bit early but I want to know!! Plus I don't think I should fast again if I could be pregnant.

Cakebaker35 Wed 22-Jan-14 08:57:50

Fox try and hold off poas until you're late, it's just so stressful to do it early and drive yourself mor crazy! And yes agree don't fast again for the time being until you know either way.

Foxsticks Wed 22-Jan-14 09:06:43

I know I shouldn't cakebaker, and I didn't with either of my other two pregnancies, I just feel I'm driving myself bonkers with symptom spotting. I've got a couple of FR tests coming from Amazon so I'll try and hold off for as long as I can.

shelterbelter Wed 22-Jan-14 09:28:44

I tested last night and of course BFN as way too early. So annoyed with myself.

Boobs are a bit twitchy, feel heavy below and some cramps but of course this could all be AF in the way early. Want to test on Friday as my birthday but even then that's still three days early.

Why do we do this to ourselves?

Lovecuppy Wed 22-Jan-14 11:39:16

6 DPO and boobs are definitely a bit bigger today!! Have bounced up and down and they are definitely a bit sore but I think that's cause I'm not wearing a bra!! :-) will see what they are like when running later!!

Must use this- www.countdowntopregnancy.com/tools/pregnancy_test_calculator.php
And not test til late!

Pickles79 Wed 22-Jan-14 12:21:36

AF arrived this morning. Totally shocked me as its 3 days early. Gutted.

Hazelbrowneyes Wed 22-Jan-14 12:38:19

So sorry pickles sad

Pickles79 Wed 22-Jan-14 12:46:34

Ah thank you. I knew it was on its way as I was so bloated yesterday. Just thought I had a few more days to dream.

FeckinNC Wed 22-Jan-14 12:56:13

Sorry Pickles - that happened to me last month 3 days early, knocked me for six.

TTC#1 cycle 5 - AF due 28th. No symptoms at all so not holding out much hope. Will NOT test until AF late as have driven myself mad last few months testing early. Fingers crossed all!

Cakebaker35 Wed 22-Jan-14 12:57:27

Ah pickles I'm so sorry flowers I'm pretty sure the bitch is on it's way here too.

Shelter, try to resist early testing if you can! If you get a bfn in your birthday surely it will just make the day a bit sad? Or maybe that's just how my brain works?!

Foxsticks Wed 22-Jan-14 13:28:21

Sorry to hear that pickles. It really throws you when it's early thanks

newforest Wed 22-Jan-14 13:55:39

I have no symptoms for anything - even AF. I normally have sore boobs for almost two weeks prior to AF and nothing! No cramping (bar some twinges 2 days ago). I'm hoping no symptoms is good! Least I'm not imagining any this time!

Seb101 Wed 22-Jan-14 20:20:44

I've just had some pinkish brown discharge; sorry if tti ! 4 days before period due. I'm trying to persuade myself it's implantation bleeding, but in reality pretty sure af is on the way hmm feel a mixture of sadness that deep down I know this month has failed again, and desperate hope that maybe it is implantation bleeding. Time will tell.....
Really hope at least one of us gets good news this month! smile)

MrsMac1397 Thu 23-Jan-14 07:05:45

I'm out! af arrived this morning. I was hoping this would be our month. Fingers crossed for next month.

Good luck everyone! grin

shelterbelter Thu 23-Jan-14 07:53:41

For some reason I have high hopes for this cycle. Sure I will be proved wrong and my stress levels with work aren't good but have everything crossed.

FeckinNC Thu 23-Jan-14 08:33:34

Seb - hang in there, it's not over until AF arrives.

Sorry to those AF got (can't name check as on phone). Just have to keep on keeping on, hard as I know it is.

I have the start of cramps today so suspect AF will arrive on cue on 27thsad. I have decided I am going to get myself checked out, been trying six months and 35 this year. Not in UK and private cover fortunately. Apparently here if you haven't conceived in 6 months it's straight to IVF!blush

claudeekishi Thu 23-Jan-14 14:23:33

Seb101 I'm in the same boat as you...pink spotting yesterday morning after dtd. Period is due 27th. I had myself convinced for the first few DPO that I was feeling stuff - now I just feel NOTHING. I tested yesterday and it was negative. Feel annoyed at myself for doing that -- really need to get a grip.

LightsPlease Thu 23-Jan-14 15:01:11

Im due in six days. Took a test today bfn. Not sure if would get a bfp by now?

Breast ache sometimes.

Hazelbrowneyes Thu 23-Jan-14 15:25:48

I'd have thought 6 days would still be too early to get a bfp?

I'm going to hold off until after AF due date.

Both DH and a friend have asked me if I'm pregnant due to symptoms. I'm bloated, lots of continuous cramping, so tired today & irritable. I keep pointing out these are exactly the same symptoms I get before AF grin

This is only month one so I'm trying to stay chilled out. it's not easy though

shelterbelter Thu 23-Jan-14 15:45:49

It's so confusing that pregnant symptoms are the same as AF approaching.

I don't normally get boob aches and pains but I have been really aware of them these last few days so really hoping it means something good.

mattsmama Thu 23-Jan-14 17:48:09

Sorry for those who AF has arrived for - its such a disappointment. You sort of try not to build yourself up but try and remain hopeful at the same time, but it is such a blow when she shows up.

I really don't know what to think - I am so annoyed with myself this month as I have wasted a lot of money on FRER tests and continued to POAS know full we'll it is far too flipping early but I can't help myself!! [embarrassed]. WTF! I have symptoms which I had last month when I had convinced myself I was preggo only for AF to show up 4 days early. I have had campy AF tummy pains on and off and sore boobies since doing the deed on the 13th of this month - only time we were able to do it when it mattered as hubby was working away rest of time so chanes are so slim it is ridiculous. Also can't stop peeing last 2 days. Why do we torture ourselves! confused. I have now resolved to hold off until Sunday with the POAS unless AF puts in an unwelcome early appearance! Good luck ladies!!! x

Cakebaker35 Thu 23-Jan-14 18:10:29

Sorry to hear AF has arrived mrsmac.

The fastest route to madness is doing lots of poas early! if you feel tempted to then come onto this thread and we can all talk each other out of it until we are actually due or late! Hang in there folks, I'm holding out until Saturday unless AF appears and rocking in a corner until then

Princesscrystalx Thu 23-Jan-14 18:13:55

Hello ! Sorry to hear the witch got some of you sad baby dust to you all next month!! Xx

I ovulated day 14 when i usually ovulate day 19, so guessing due on mondayish? No symptoms apart from wanting chicken wings and now starting to feel sicky. Took a predictor test and there is a barely visible line, you really have to squint n turn your head lol!! Googled this test and awful reviews so bit gutted. Whos still testing?.xxxxx

LightsPlease Thu 23-Jan-14 19:48:45

Hazel im not sure if six days is too early.its only an internet cheapy!
When is af due for you?

Symptom spot will turn you crazy. I don't know if its real or imaginary!

Lovecuppy Thu 23-Jan-14 20:40:38

Hello. Sorry to those that AF has appeared for. Wishing you all luck for next month.

I'm currently 7 DPO and driving myself mad..... It's all I can think about at the moment.... Wish I could turn my very over active mind off for a bit!!! Not feeling too positive as have had cramping from 2 DPO off and is slowly getting stronger so feel that AF will be on her way soon.

If AF amazingly doesn't appear early or on time I am planning to wait until I am one day late.... 29th before testing but don't think I'll get that far anyway.

Would just like to know either way now!! Xx

Hazelbrowneyes Fri 24-Jan-14 08:50:26

AF due on 31st Jan/1st Feb going on last months cycle length, however I'm fairly sure I ov'd 4 days earlier than last month (going on the cramps I experienced!) which would make me due around the 28th. So if I ov'd when I think I did, I'm 10dpo today.

I've had 3 days of cramps really low down, nausea that comes and goes and today I've got sore boobs, a headache and feel like I've been run over by a bus. This could be one of three things:

1. I'm coming down with a cold
2. AF is going to arrive early
3. Err, pregnant.

grin

Not testing until 2nd Feb at earliest.

LightsPlease Fri 24-Jan-14 16:27:37

Its looking hopeful for you !

mattsmama Sat 25-Jan-14 11:57:40

Aargh - the poas addiction continues!! Last night Thought I saw a practically invisible line but only when I tilt the FRER a certain way but can't be sure. This morning I am sure I can see an almost shadow like line on 2 IC's - god I don't know if I am getting pink line eye or something now or imagining the lines!!! However I remember with my last pregnancy it was the IC that showed up a slight shadow even before the FRER but I daren't get even a glimmer of hope up yet (very hard not to though!). Not due till 28th !!

Glad I can at least come on here and share my lunacy - good luck to everyone else and hang in there! X

Foxsticks Sat 25-Jan-14 12:09:42

While we are confessing, I POAS yesterday - BFN. I think my symptoms were related to 5:2 rather than pregnancy. Still on the bright side I lost 1.5lbs this week.

Not over till AF arrives but I don't think it's my month this month. Fingers crossed for everyone.

LightsPlease Sat 25-Jan-14 12:46:19

Still waiting I have four days til af is due. Th mild symptoms I had like breasts a bit achey is GONE during the day and occasionally at night. Not looking to hopeful.

nicx240187 Sat 25-Jan-14 12:49:35

Well this morning I accidentally did a poas hpt. In my drawer I have opk and hpt. I did the wrong one lol.
I now know I'm currently getting a neg result.
Before anyone asks. I do opk all month as I have issues with my line coming and faidibg through the month. And the docs asked me to monitor it.

So I shall keep up the 2ww. Redone the maths and if AF is coming that should be the 30 th

Cakebaker35 Sat 25-Jan-14 13:04:25

Well I poas today, managed to hold out, and got a very faint line....I just don't know though, I'm cd29 so certainly possible but it was v faint and I hear all these stories about evaporation lines so really unsure. So I'm going to buy a non-cheapy test tomorrow and see what that says....hmmmm fingers crossed, if it is just an evaporation line then it'll be even more gutting than getting a bfn somehow.

Foxsticks Sat 25-Jan-14 13:13:20

Looks like there has been lots of illicit peeing! I don't feel as bad now. Looking positive cakebaker. I really hope you get a bfp.

Lovecuppy Sat 25-Jan-14 13:27:56

Congratulations to the ladies with faint lines :-) I wanna test!!! But only 9 DPO so hanging on. Also looked in my diary and last cycle AF arrived early at 10 DPO (which is tomorrow) so am massively on knicker watch!!

Good luck everyone it's nearly the end of the Month :-)

FeckinNC Sat 25-Jan-14 16:16:40

Another naughty early POASer here blush 4 days before AF due and BFN. Also been v grouchy today so suspect this isn't our month, again sad. Congrats to those with lines, faint lines, imaginary lines and good luck to those who have held off testing and those waiting patiently smile

nicx240187 Sat 25-Jan-14 17:03:26

I'm sure it all in head but I feel so sick. And I have heartburn which I never have. And I have mild stabby pains on one side. How early really do symptoms arrive?

Foxsticks Sat 25-Jan-14 17:22:27

When I was pregnant I didn't notice any symptoms other than being bone achingly tired and thirsty. I only had these for three or four days before AF was due I think.

Seb101 Sat 25-Jan-14 18:35:26

I'm out this month; af arrived today!
sad( good luck to everyone still waiting! Now I'm going to have a bath, early night and feel sorry for myself.

Foxsticks Sat 25-Jan-14 19:06:43

Sorry to hear you're out Seb, hope luck is on your side next month thanks

Cakebaker35 Sun 26-Jan-14 13:25:04

BFP! <faints> still a very faint line, but it's a line and that's the 3rd test....v v early days though so I'm just keeping everything crossed. Sorry to all those whose AF has arrived and hang in there to all those still waiting x

Lovecuppy Sun 26-Jan-14 15:42:00

Yayyyyy cakebaker...... Fingers crossed for you!!!

I'm holding on for as long as I can before going to the loo in fear of AF arriving..... Really feel like it's coming :-/

Sorry seb :-( wishing you lots of luck for feb.

I'm starting to go a mad now, please stay away AF xx

Foxsticks Sun 26-Jan-14 17:52:39

That's fantastic cakebaker!!

I just read your update and couldn't resist another POAS and...... I got a BFP! I'm shaking! So excited but really scared after my miscarriage too. I just hope everything is going to be ok with this one.

Cakebaker35 Sun 26-Jan-14 18:21:27

Amazing news fox, congraatulations too! It's a BFP roll, let's hope there are plenty more xx

Foxsticks Sun 26-Jan-14 18:28:25

Let's hope so smile

shelterbelter Sun 26-Jan-14 18:59:54

I've got two very faint ones too. Will be testing again on due date with FMU. Fingers crossed!

Foxsticks Sun 26-Jan-14 19:09:59

Wow we are on a roll that's amazing shelter! When are you due?

shelterbelter Sun 26-Jan-14 19:28:52

AF is due tomorrow. I did POAS on Friday and that was negative. Need to use tomorrow's FMU as did them this afternoon. They were really faint but a line is a line right? Hopefully confirm tomorrow.

Good luck everyone else.

rockstars12 Sun 26-Jan-14 19:33:43

Congratulations to all the bfps!! smile
My af is due tomorrow and I am approx 11 days dpo. Normally get slight bleed day before it starts and sadly usual af symptoms arrived today! Poas for last few days inc. this morning bfns. Normally have a 24 day cycle and its day 24. Boo! Think I am out for this month!

Foxsticks Sun 26-Jan-14 20:22:17

Mine was negative on Friday too shelter. I don't know why I have been testing early, I never have in the past, but I just had this feeling.

Sorry to hear that rockstars, it's not over yet though. I've got my fingers for you.

Princesscrystalx Sun 26-Jan-14 23:28:27

Sorry to a the ladies who are out this month sad baby dust for next month. Xxx

Well i have got a bfp! Af due tomorrow and three, faint but positive lines! Im nervous and excited at the same time!

The only symptoms i had was wanting spicey food and sickness all day, i swear by conceive plus fertillity gel, have been trying for months, using opk, dtd every other day, tryed everything! Used this gel on my high fertillity days this cycle and got my bfp so ladies id give it a go!! Good luck, gunna hang around if thats okay and follow everyones countdown as im really routing for you all!! Xxxx

shelterbelter Mon 27-Jan-14 07:50:24

My faint lines yesterday been confirmed with a clear blue digi this morning. So happy.

I also used a fertility gel this month, first cycle of using it. We used balance activ once had a peak OPK.

Good luck everyone and congrats to those with BFPs

Cakebaker35 Mon 27-Jan-14 08:19:13

Congratulations princess and shelter! I'm going to buy a digi today, still feel I need to see it words despite doing 3 tests! Just can't believe it, really wasn't hopeful for this month and felt like AF was on the way so it just shows how similar symptoms can be, no wonder the waiting drives us mad.
Good luck to everyone still waiting x

LightsPlease Mon 27-Jan-14 08:31:52

Congratulations to everyone who has a bfp this month. Wishing you a healthy and safe pregnancy.
Hugs to those who got af . It will only be two weeks until we will be doing this all again!

Im still waiting. Had two drops of blood Saturday hoping it's implantation bleeding as I've had nothing since.. af is due Wednesday so il do a clear blue then. The Internet cheapie I did last night was a bfn.

Princesscrystalx Mon 27-Jan-14 08:50:03

I swear by it, shelter and congrats! And cakebaker i feel exactly the same and i will be buying a clearblue today aswell! Lol congrats, its so surreal isnt it! Scared though after our miscarridge in sept.

Lights, may be implantation bleeding? Also digitals arent as sensitive, so if you get a bfn and no af stay positive!! Its not over till the fat lady sings.

Sending lots of hugs and babydust xxxxxxxx

Jo178 Mon 27-Jan-14 11:36:21

Period app on my phone said AF on 29th so may I join you? I'm not sure that's very accurate though as it was my first month of data after coming off cerazette early December. Also had positive opk last Monday so currently in the 2ww and would put me around 3rd Feb for AF. We conceived our DD first cycle of trying so trying to be positive but symptom spotting like crazy!

mattsmama Mon 27-Jan-14 14:56:43

Congratulations to all those with a BFP - fantastic! Really pleased for you !

Not looking so good for me unfortunately - day 27 for me and still no BFP. Still got all the symptoms and strong cramps but no AF but wish it would just hurry up now!! any lines I THOUGHT I might have seen would surely have got stronger and also definitely by day 27. Anyway onwards and upwards!

Lovecuppy Mon 27-Jan-14 18:15:42

Lots of BFPs yayyyyyyyyy :-) so pleased for you all.

Mattsmama its day 27 for me too :-) I'm about 11 DPO and if I'm the same as last month with. 28 day cycle AF will be here tomorrow. Planning on testing weds if amazingly she doesn't arrive but having lots of cramps so kinda worried.

Fingers crossed to lights and jo178

Good luckkkkkkk!!

mattsmama Mon 27-Jan-14 19:07:59

Lovecuppy - fingers crossed for you!

Isn't it horrible though all this waiting!! I am secretly hoping beyond hope I am preggo but sort of want AF to hurry up now if she is on her way to out me out of this torment. The next few days will tell : /

Good luck xx

LightsPlease Mon 27-Jan-14 20:37:02

Thanks guys.

I couldn't wait and did a clear blue today which was negative! Af is due in two days. Breasts tender but I am guessing thats it now.

Hazelbrowneyes Tue 28-Jan-14 08:33:16

Well I'm out for this month. AF arrived today. I'm a bit disappointed to be honest, especially as I'd pretty much convinced myself that all the weird symptoms meant I was pregnant. Hey ho.

On the upside, this is cycle 2 since coming off the pill and cycle lengths have been 31 days and now 28 days.

I'm out ladies - AF arrived this morning. Off to the February bus I go - good luck anyone still waiting. x

FeckinNC Tue 28-Jan-14 10:10:38

AF due tomorrow so hanging in there. Had a tiny amount of bright pink blood yesterday, is 2 days before AF due too late for implantation?

I haven't had the nasty cramps and moodiness I usually get but don't want to get my hopes up. Have got tender boobs, more so than usual. Tested this morning and BFN.

Congrats to all those with BFPs and commiserations to those that AF got. This ttc lark is so emotionally draining isn't it - I honestly thought you stopped taking the pill, do some sexing, you miss a period, take a test and hey presto BFP. If only I knew........ Thank God for Mumsnet - think I would have gone cuckoo by now without it!

cheshirem2b Tue 28-Jan-14 11:50:33

Well, as expected AF is here with a vengeance! Ah well, TTC cycle 2 will commence in due course. Now I must go and find the pain killers...!

cheshirem2b Tue 28-Jan-14 11:51:32

forgot to say - congrats to all with BFP!!!

LightsPlease Tue 28-Jan-14 14:48:09

Feckin we are in the exact same boat!

FeckinNC Tue 28-Jan-14 15:15:34

Ah Lights, see you're due AF tomorrow too fingers tightly crossed for both of us! I'm just wishing the next few hours/days away to be out out of the misery one way or another. TMI but I've got a weird kind of dragging sensation and I'm convinced AF will start any second. I'm going to be so disappointed this month. Will be checking back Lights, will you be testing tomorrow?

LightsPlease Tue 28-Jan-14 15:36:32

I wont be trying tomorrow I have had enough of the bfn! Im getting obsessed.
When you read about it some people get bfp a few days before af is due and some not until a few days after!

Which brand are you going to use to test tomorrow?

Regarding the bit of blood you had it could be implantation but I read that you wouldn't get a bfp until four or five days later? It's very confusing. I had some pink spots on Saturday.

FeckinNC Tue 28-Jan-14 15:46:27

I'm not testing tomorrow either. I'm with you thinking if the spotting yesterday was implantation I probably won't get a BFP yet anyway. If AF doesn't show up will still just think it's late so not testing until Friday (I say that now will prob be rushing out to buy a test tomorrow)

LightsPlease Tue 28-Jan-14 16:06:01

Come in this thread if you feel the pull of the test!
Friday will come quick.. three more sleeps !

Foxsticks Tue 28-Jan-14 16:07:14

Hi all

I can't believe your partner did that to you Kat, it's such a gross invasion of privacy. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Well done for vomiting squiz! I've not had any morning sickness either when carrying my dd, when I mc or this time. People say I am lucky but the lack of physical symptoms is worrying! Hope everyone with wobbles is feeling better today.

Can I ask what people have done with regards to telling family? Last time I told my Dad and my sister, my theory being that if something did go wrong I would need their support. When it did go wrong I was so pleased they knew I was pregnant as I needed help with childcare for hospital appointments and scans. I didn't have to have a conversation saying "I'm pregnant but don't get your hopes up as I think I'm miscarrying".

This time I told my sister straight away and she doesn't think I should tell my Dad as she thinks it will worry him. Personally I think she thinks I should keep it quiet as she is the type of person who thinks it will somehow be jinxed. I don't want to think like that as it implies we have some sort of control over this, which we don't.

Foxsticks Tue 28-Jan-14 16:07:30

Bugg

Foxsticks Tue 28-Jan-14 16:08:35

Arghh! Wrong thread, sorry!

Well done for staying strong lights and feck!

LightsPlease Tue 28-Jan-14 16:36:03

Lol foxsticks.
Thanks smile

Jo178 Tue 28-Jan-14 17:21:59

I cracked and tested, BFN! Am off work as DD was sick yesterday so the pull of the shops was too strong! Had positive test with DD 5 days before AF was due so thought this might be the same as feel shocking. hmm

LightsPlease Wed 29-Jan-14 18:38:34

Sorry to hear that jo.

Feckin have you cracked yet ?

FeckinNC Wed 29-Jan-14 18:49:27

Sorry Jo, best of luck for next month.

Hey Lights. No, not cracked yet, nearly 10pm here and no sign of AF......yet. Determined to hold out and see what Friday brings. How's things your end?

nicx240187 Wed 29-Jan-14 18:55:11

Good luck to all. I'm doing the maths and think AF due for me Tues. Not Friday this week. So feels like its going to be another week wait sad
I can't work out with my cycle if ov was last week or 2 weeks today. So guess my safest bet will be to attempt to wait until Tuesday. (Unless AF catches me first)
Keeping my fingers crossed for me and you xxx

LightsPlease Wed 29-Jan-14 18:55:34

Ooh well done for holding on ! Any signs? I was due today and still no sign ! I will give until monday !

FeckinNC Wed 29-Jan-14 19:02:06

Nothing. Cramps have gone, no spotting and been in a great mood all day. Will be such a kick in the teeth if it's BFN after all. Blimey you've got some willpower - Monday???

espa Wed 29-Jan-14 19:31:03

Hi girls. I'm in similar boat. Have roughly a 21 day cycle though only just started tracking as this is first month we've been trying but I am definitely 3 weeks rather than 4. So due 28th-30th.

Anyway dtd 18/19 when according to my app I was ovulating. On 24th I had a bit of what i thought was early AF When wiped, continued with spotting until last night, but pretty light. No sign of AF. Had some pretty sore cramping over weekend for a few hours and quite nauseous for about 36 hours, not so bad now. So I would say now I am poss 10 dpo and got BFN this morning.

Am I testing too early? I was totally convinced a few days ago I was pg but bfn has challenged my thinking! I'm away overseas next week so would like to know soon! Think husband may think I'm imaging things but all the symptoms combined with spotting/no AF so far seem too much of a coincidence! Thoughts?!

LightsPlease Wed 29-Jan-14 19:44:54

Feckin the cramps could have been implantation?

Ive taken so many tests and been obsessed and after the last bfn I was pretty dejected and thought that it should have been a positive by now so I have given up!

Espa maybe wait a few more days if your only 10dpo? As your cycles differ you should hold on for as long as possible because you could get bfn when its a bfp and hasn't implanted yet.

FeckinNC Thu 30-Jan-14 12:30:27

I'm out sad AF got me. Thinking of shall those waiting on their BFP, particularly Lights

LightsPlease Thu 30-Jan-14 18:50:25

Oh no Feckin sorry to hear that..you know either way now and you can get ready for trying again this month. I really hope you get your bfp soon.

Took a test today and was a bfn so I guess thats me out as well.

Hopefully this time next month we will our turn x

FeckinNC Thu 30-Jan-14 19:22:11

Lights, it's not over until AF arrives so hang on in there. I hope not to see you on any February buses! wink

LightsPlease Thu 30-Jan-14 20:03:11

Ah thanks, made me feel a bit better. Is there a feb bus already?

nicx240187 Sat 01-Feb-14 09:02:10

AnyOne still hanging on heresmile due to my date mix up I think I was jan 28th. Now think I February 4th. No signs of af. I'm not tired anymore like last week either.
Still got my fingers crossed

espa Sun 02-Feb-14 21:22:13

I've still not had a 'real' period yet...tested Wed/Fri and bfn. sad

espa Tue 04-Feb-14 08:08:15

Bfn again this morning.Safe to say must not be pg. Now my cycle is messed up if that was a period that I had, so no idea when to expect next one!
