Hi guys any room on the bus? Ttc#1 cycle 1, bfp due 2th jan!

always room for a newbie mrsb, Welcome and goodluck!

No probs sazzle smile

sazzlehopes Wed 15-Jan-14 10:59:08

mrsb - welcome but your bfp can't be 2nd jan? did you miss a number, or mean in feb?!!!

Blithereens Wed 15-Jan-14 11:21:25

Getting miffed now. CD 43 (usually 35-day cycle) and no sign of AF or BFP. I wish one or the other would hurry up and get here hmm

mrsb87 Wed 15-Jan-14 11:24:38

Ah yea missed a rubbish at typing on these touchscreens! 25th jan

icy121 Wed 15-Jan-14 11:27:41

In a bit of a quandary. I had my first 'true' period after coming off Yasmin on Boxing Day. So effectively on cycle day21 now. My body's giving signs of being fertile - cervical action (which is forgotten existed, being on the pill for a decade eradicated all of that!) but I've been using the OPKs and only had one brown line. I use them after work and absolutely zero joy. Only twice, after leaving them for over an hr, I've come back later and there's the faintest 2nd line ever but the rest - nowt.

Do I trust the sticks or my body or just ignore the lot and give it 10 days and do a pg test?

Additionally, I'm boiling hot (and am usually freezing in the office, people literally ask if I'm ok) and every now and then have a weird sense of smell - but I also get that when my stress levels are sky high, side effect of cortisol.

Man alive I hate all of this uncertainty. Just want to KNOW.

Thanks for new thread grin

Icy, I think test again tomorrow!

sazzlehopes Wed 15-Jan-14 12:06:42

Icy i think if this is your first cycle after the pill i would just dtd eod or every 3 days and try and see your bodies natural signs, then maybe for the next month if no bfp i'd buy some clearblue ov tests which are more expensive but you can use them alongside the cheapy for the month to sort of confirm the cheapos, then after that you might have a clearer idea of what is happening!

icy121 Wed 15-Jan-14 12:35:29

Thanks sazzle I'll do that. It's frustrating because I haven't got a clue what a normal cycle for me would be given time on the pill... Feel like am trying to navigate with a compass but no map.

Ach it'll sort itself out!

sazzlehopes Wed 15-Jan-14 12:42:38

My first 3 cycles coming off my pill were pretty different but i did fall pregnant 4th cycle using the clearblue ov sticks so try not to stress about it, it is early days!

Onlymydogunderstandsme Wed 15-Jan-14 12:54:22

Thanks for the new thread.

I tested again this morning after BFN yesterday (and realising the control line hadn't appeared so it didn't count) and I got a BFP!!!!

Have just told DH when he came home for lunch and I think he is in a state of shock although very pleased. I had a mc before DS so trying not to get to excited this early but it's hard not to!

Choccy I hope things are ok with you thanks

mama31 Wed 15-Jan-14 13:16:32

Congrats only that's great news!!!!! smile

Well I just joined the Feb bus as bfp due 2nd/3rd Feb! But given that I'm a poas addict I've realised that I will know if I'm preggers by end of Jan!!! Lol so I'll continue to hang out here for a bit smile

Choccy I sure hope your doing ok, all my prayers have been sent your way today and only your way!!! As you need them all more than anyone right now x

DoctorDonnaNoble Wed 15-Jan-14 13:23:43

More good news, excellent!

Onlymydogunderstandsme Wed 15-Jan-14 13:31:46

Thank you, I can't stop looking at the test grin

Fingers crossed for you Mama at the end of the month.

mrsb87 Wed 15-Jan-14 13:43:53

Congratulation onlymydogunderstandsme!! Thats uber exciting!! When was af meant to be due?

DoctorDonnaNoble Wed 15-Jan-14 13:45:53

Having a really rough day today. Off work ill, eaten FAR too much chocolate and just wondering if this will ever happen. I was so happy when I got that BFP, I just want that feeling again. And for it to last. hmm

Congrats only, that's wonderful news!!
Mama we'd love you to stay and hang out here!! You're always there for a kind word when needed.
Doctor don't feel guilty about the chocolate, sometimes we all need it!! I know how you feel, but you will get your sticky one, as we all will. Sometimes a good moan and/or cry really does help. Hugs.

Onlymydogunderstandsme Wed 15-Jan-14 14:13:20

Mrsb it was meant to be on Monday and I resisted testing until yesterday. I was really disappointed yesterday as I felt pg, have been off my food, feeling tired and my boobs feel very full like with DS so thought I was imagining things. Then when I realised about an hour later that the control line hadn't appeared I realised the test hadn't worked. This morning it tested positive near enough straight away, I have quite long cycles though so it means I'm 5weeks today.

Doctor sounds like you are having a rough day, hope you are feeling better soon!

DoctorDonnaNoble Wed 15-Jan-14 14:22:43

That's brilliant only. I'm going to test tomorrow but not hopeful for a positive result. But DH is going away for an adventure race on Friday. Thought I was having period pain earlier but that's gone now without pain relief - would never happen normally to me, boobs are a little bit bigger but that's it, I'm desperately trying not to feature spot as it just makes me cry! I'm going to the gym later to punch things and run - that'll make me feel better!

misstiggiwinkle Wed 15-Jan-14 14:44:07

Anyone mind if I hop on this bus? I'm a newbie, ttc#1, cycle 2 and bfp due on the 27th. I'm in the early stages of the nail biting 2ww...and starting to symptom spot (although I think I'm imagining most of them!) I think my boobs are only sore coz I keep poking them to see if they hurt!

I've started taking conception vitamins, anything else I should be doing to hurry this along?!

bumpbangbump Wed 15-Jan-14 15:29:15

Well I miss calculated xmy dates and I'm actually due on 26th... My birthday!!! I've got people coming for lunch so I think I'll hold of testing until if I'm late. The Monday or Tuesday. So who's gonna be my poas buddy?

Can't believe I'm in my 2ww already. Going to be long!! Luckily I've got loads going on until then so hopefully o won't get carried way and test early. I only have a frer so want to save it as it's so bloody expensive then if the bitch arrives I won't have wasted all that money!

Congratulations only

sazzlehopes Wed 15-Jan-14 15:34:38

Congrats only!
Mama glad you are staying around.
Thinking of you choccy xx

No symptoms for me today. I'm sure it is all in my head... One week to go. I need to be busy to keep my mind off over thinking things...

Congratulations Onlygrin

Welcome newbiesgrin

Af not arrived yet which probably means she'll be here all weekend when we're away!!!

DoctorDonnaNoble Wed 15-Jan-14 15:45:18

Spinning - when is AF due?

sazzlehopes Wed 15-Jan-14 16:34:24

Spinning - you have done well resisting the poas urge... Are you normally on time with these things?

Onlymydogunderstandsme Wed 15-Jan-14 16:38:34

Fingers crossed for you Doctor, let us know how you get on.

Hi Misstiggiwinkle, your comment made me laugh as I kept poking mine to wonder if they were sore and wondered the same!

AF due today and yes usually on time. I'm sure she's coming!

Doctor....only dtd once about 2/3 days before ov so I'm sure I'm not pregnant! Probably turn up tomorrow.

Choccy how did you get on at docs, been thinking of you today.

sazzlehopes Wed 15-Jan-14 16:44:40

You never know spinning, maybe poas if she's not here by tomorrow eve? x

DoctorDonnaNoble Wed 15-Jan-14 16:46:55

Spinning - once is all it takes! wink

Rubyshoe Wed 15-Jan-14 17:03:42

Ermmmmm ......

I need to whisper something, I can't bring myself to say it out loud.....

Did an OPK at lunch time as I read somewhere that they also give you a line if you are pregnant and a line came up.... Not quite as dark as the control but nearly.... Promised myself I still wouldn't test till next week..... Lasted till this afternoon. Did a FRER with afternoon urine and ..... bFP no doubts, not faint, definitely there 10dpo....... Sat on the floor with my daughters ashes and cried (sorry if TMI). So there we are. Fx crossed my little bean sticks and we get to keep this one x

DoctorDonnaNoble Wed 15-Jan-14 17:04:42

Fingers crossed Ruby.

Hi all thank you for the kind wishes.

So, I've just been to the dr, and she was absolutely lovely.
Before I even got a word out I broke down into tears and she held my hand.
I explained that I'd had 3 early mcs in 3 months and she has sent me for blood tests tomorrow morning, results hopefully back by tomorrow afternoon/early Friday.
Also said to attend scan Friday even if I'm still bleeding.

My tests are now negative, so I know the 'baby' has gone.
The bloods are (on the form)
haematology:Fbc and esr.
clotting screen.
biochemistry: u&e, lft, gamma gt, bone profile, glucose, hba,c.
Other:lupus, Ana, antiphosphohpid.
If anyone knows what they are, feel free to shed light.
She said they'll do a progesterone test at 21 days. They're going to let the bloods come back first and see if there's any problem, if not I'll be referred to a specialist.

I asked her about my uterine lining and she said that would be a talk to the specialist thing, also asked about me taking baby aspirin and she said to keep taking it.

Hope everyone else has had a better day than me. I'm so glad I have ds here to cuddle up to <3

Rubyshoe Wed 15-Jan-14 17:09:01

Thanks Donna x

DoctorDonnaNoble Wed 15-Jan-14 17:12:13

Oh choccy! I'm so sorry! I hope you get answers.

So sorry for you Choccy, pleased you had such a kind doctor thanks

Ruby.....I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

sazzlehopes Wed 15-Jan-14 17:19:04

God it is such a roller coaster on here today. Choccy, I am SO sorry for you, I cannot imagine what that feels like, I am glad you have ds, they are a blessing when things like this happen. I really hope all this serious testing sheds light onto what is going on. You can obviously carry a child through to term - you have ds to prove it. Look after yourself and keep us posted on anything else. Sending you huge mn hugs xxx

And rose in a way your post made me cry too even though it is happy bfp news and i should be shouting out congrats - I hope so much things turn out ok for you this time, you more than deserve good news after what you've been through this summer. I have my fx for you that this one turns out ok.

sazzlehopes Wed 15-Jan-14 17:19:39

Ruby, sorry not rose, getting all confused with my teary eyes

ImaginaryHat Wed 15-Jan-14 17:21:47

Choccy I'm so so sorry, this process is so cruel. Hope the blood tests give you some answers.

Ruby, that's lovely news for you, although I expect it comes with a whole load of conflicting emotions. Wishing you all the luck in the world.

Rubyshoe Wed 15-Jan-14 17:22:23

Choccy, I am so sorry x

KittyVonCatsington Wed 15-Jan-14 17:26:56

Just marking my place - will catch up on all posts missed!

Ruby, absolutely amazing news. Your daughter will always be with you to share every moment xxx

Ruby.... thats lovely news. I'm keeping everything crossed for you that this is the happy ending you so deserve. Congratulations smile

Choccy, firstly i'm so sorry. I really feel for you. I'm glad you have a supportive doctor who isn't just fobbing you off. I hope the tests shed some light on things and you get to the bottom of things. Hugs xx

mama31 Wed 15-Jan-14 17:36:21

Choccy so so sorry to hear this!! Have been praying for you all day you poor thing. I really hope the tests shed some light on what's going on for you so it can be sorted asap and you get your sticky little one very very soon! Huge hugs to you xx

Ruby congrats to you and I hope and pray for you also that it works out for you, I'm sure it will x

KittyVonCatsington Wed 15-Jan-14 17:38:24

I am speechless, Choccy, I really felt as if I had gone though the whole process with you this month and feel very saddend by your news. You are a very strong person and we will be with you every step of the way. thanks

Thanks ladies x

Just got off the phone from my mum, absolutely gutted, we've just had a good cry together.

(I'm not really thinking about it too much at the moment, but if I WERE to get a sticky one next month, I would find out valentines day)

KittyVonCatsington Wed 15-Jan-14 18:00:46

That is a lovely thought to hold onto, Choccy grin

mama31 Wed 15-Jan-14 18:21:11

Choccy you are such an amazing person, I know we don't know eachother in RL but I've been on these buses with you for.....well what feels like forever!!! and I just know that you are so strong and determined for a positive outcome and I know for a fact that you will get it! People like you never give up! And never lose hope!! Make sure to get plenty of cuddles from your wee one and DH! We are all here for you whenever you need to chat/offload/rant or whatever you want to do my love xx

LittleMissSunshine33 Wed 15-Jan-14 18:32:13

Hi Newbies! Congrats OnlyMyDog & Ruby!

Sooooo sorry Choccy! Must be so hard! Glad to hear you have your family around you fingers x for valentines day!!

Still in flashing smileys stage! DTD as much as poss!!
Joining Slimming World tonight need to get my BMI down hmm but I'm going to have so etching yummy before I go (doesn't matter if I'm heavier this week!)

LittleMissSunshine33 Wed 15-Jan-14 18:34:15

not so etching -'something' predictive text!

KittyVonCatsington Wed 15-Jan-14 18:51:21

CD23; STILL no positive OPK result. Is it really bad to sort of wish it would happen just so I can stop having 5.30am sex as I'm just so tired! Parents Evening until 8pm yesterday and I was passed out on the sofa by 8:45. DH not been around in the evenings for DTD as is working on a property after work. Oh well! Will keep DTDing every other day until evil AF rears her ugly head...

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout Wed 15-Jan-14 18:56:27

Firstly choccy so sorry for your loss. Like other posters have said I hope the tests shed light on what is happening.
I'm out this month. A.F arrived before. xx

LH1981 Wed 15-Jan-14 18:58:04

Choccy, I'm so so sorry. I was so hoping for you that it was just something minor and all would be ok. I really hope once you pick yourself up (and you seem so strong doing that), and are ready to try again that you get your sticky bean this time. You deserve it xx

Congrats to Ruby and OnlymyDog! xxx

Littlemiss... The flashing smilies can go on a bit. Don't tire yourself out. I'm doing eod til fixed smiley then gonna bang out 4 days in a row of DTD.
Besides you need to give hubby's sperm a chance to refresh. Good luck!
Kitty... I feel your pain! But high 5! You're doing well! Haha! wink

Lovecuppy Wed 15-Jan-14 19:01:07

Thanks for the new thread English. Hopping on board on the back seat as AF not due to end of jan. Congratulations to all the BFPs :-)

Choccy so sorry to hear of your news. I'll lurked for a while before joining the last few buses and I'm sorry for what you are going through :-(

I've been hiding as not sure what's going on. Ovulated last month on cd 14/15 following some pretty sharp ov pains but am currently on day 15 and nothing?! Odd twinges but nothing like last month. Don't really get ewcm so can't use that and in dp's eyes we are using the relaxed approach (or so he thinks!!) so not using opks. Does anyone else's ovulation dates vary each month??

Treaclepie19 Wed 15-Jan-14 19:04:59

So sorry to hear your news choccy sad
Fingers crossed for you.

Congrats to the BFP's smile

littlemisssunshine seems we are similar, I'm trying to get my BMI down too and did you say you are a teacher also?

LittleMissSunshine33 Wed 15-Jan-14 19:12:15

Sorry to hear that lifehasafunnyway!

Thanks English how many days does the constant smiley stay for do you know? Haven't had one yet as didn't use OPKs last month.

Lovecuppy I'm the same OH thinks we are casually DTD lots (which he's happy about) and wants to take the relaxed approach ... I'm far from it! wink

Treaclepie yes I am which keeps my mind off ttc but do worry about the job if/when I get pregnant as very demanding on my body!

LittleMissSunshine33 Wed 15-Jan-14 19:14:02

As I'm sure you know treaclepie! Which year do you teach?

Mama you just made me cry. Thank you mwah x

Congrats to the BFPs and good luck in Feb to those with AF.
Choccy I'm so sorry to hear about this, hope in RL you have lots of support, can't imagine how you must be feeling.
With regards to the blood panel requested it looks like your GP is covering all bases, think someone previously mentioned the baby aspirin for anti-phospholipids causing MC but can't remember the details. FX you get some answers soon. We're all here for you x

mama31 Wed 15-Jan-14 19:30:34

Awwwh choccy wish I could give you a hug and I don't want to make you cry but had to share what I think of you coz I know it's what we all think on here x

DoctorDonnaNoble Wed 15-Jan-14 19:31:57

I'm feeling quite nervous about poas tomorrow. Don't think I've ever felt this nervous. I've only got an expensive Clear blue digital so going to have to use that. Maybe AF will come overnight and mean I don't have to be nervous as I'll know. IF it is positive the EPU have said they'll give me an early scan for reassurance. I'm debating just waiting longer though. Using the maths suggested by all the literature I should have had AF on Sunday but all bets are off post MC I assume so I'm probably just getting hopeful for nothing.
This might be FAR tmi but does anyone else have permanently erect nipples! This happened while I was pregnant in November and December and it's happening at the moment.

LittleMiss Once you've had one fixed it wont show a new one. It shows the fixed when you have your LH surge, which is usually 24-36 hours prior to ov. Last month i got a fixed on 16th and ov'd on cd18 (according to FF). DTD 12,13, 15,16,17 & 18. Got a bfp at 11dpo. Sadly it didnt stick.
Hope that helps.

ItsChristmaass Wed 15-Jan-14 19:48:37

Marking myself on this one.

Choccy so sorry to hear that news. Can't imagine how your feeling. thanks I think I remember you from a few months ago on these threads, I took a break for a while. Hope your feeling okay. Can't be easy. ❤️

Congrats to all the bfps! Really hoping this month is it for us.. 13 cycles and counting.
I have had constant period pain since Saturday, I'm now 7dpo. Has anyone else ever experience this?

mama31 Wed 15-Jan-14 19:54:35

Doctordonna sounds very promising and no....ive not had permanent erect nips lol hoping it's a symptom for you and you get your bfp!!!

It'sChristmas!! Wow your name reminds me that Christmas is soooooo far away now lol good luck for your bfp also! Never had pains from 7dpo but do have a short cycle so do usually have them from about 10dpo.

DoctorDonnaNoble Wed 15-Jan-14 20:02:10

I'm so scared the same thing will happen again that I think I am going to chicken out for the time being.

missmrsmummy Wed 15-Jan-14 20:08:14

I'm a teacher too!

Anyone else worried that the stress of the job will prevent them from conceiving? I felt so harassed today, not deal at this crucial time of my cycle!

DoctorDonnaNoble Wed 15-Jan-14 20:10:44

Totally worry about. I felt really nauseous while I was pregnant and worried about having to leave my classes to be sick. And the tiredness made parents' evening a complete nightmare. But then I'm a bundle of nerves right now!

Treaclepie19 Wed 15-Jan-14 20:25:46

Definitely littlemiss
I'm in Nursery. How about you?

missmrs I worry about coping when pregnant mainly...

ItsChristmaass Wed 15-Jan-14 20:36:50

Mama I know it needs to be changed really, but I like it lol. I don't have short cycles and this is the only one I've ever experienced this. It started from 3dpo and has gotten stronger. I'm a little confused. hmm I have my day 21 bloods Friday so shall be asking the nurse her opinion.

Writerwannabe83 Wed 15-Jan-14 20:39:30

choccy - I have been following your journey over the last few months and when I saw your post this morning I felt so heartbroken for you. Life can be so unfair and cruel and it always seems to happen to the people who deserve happiness the most. I'm so glad you have a supportive doctor, it can make the world of difference. I will continue to follow your posts and I'm sure there will be a happy ending for you and hopefully soon x x

Sleepingstarsmommy Wed 15-Jan-14 21:04:13

English Thanks for the new thread.

Ruby so happy for you, and will be keeping my fingers and arms and legs and even my eyes crossed that everything goes right for you this time. Hope you medical team are good and help give you the support and monitoring you'll need to enjoy a happy and healthy pregnancy

missmrsmummy Wed 15-Jan-14 21:10:02

Yes Treacle I worry about coping when pregnant too! Luckily the children's toilets are on my corridor and a sink outside my room so... Haha.

I'll be doing lots of 'just popping out to get some resources' and having a TA on hand. Though I won't want to tell anyone too soon, so it could be difficult trying to hide sickness!

Look at me worrying about all this when I'm not even pg yet!

bumpbangbump Wed 15-Jan-14 21:16:56

So sorry choccy, there really are no words.

Congratulations Ruby! Amazing news.

And littlemiss, I've been doing slimming world for the past 4 months and have lost 2s4lbs. Still a long way to go but sw really does work and is pretty easy to stick to as long as you're happy to cook and enjoy veg!

missmrsmummy Wed 15-Jan-14 21:18:59

Bump I did SW as well before my wedding and lost a stone easily. Didn't feel like I was on a diet as I could eat so much! Also got rid of stomach acid problems and IBS somehow!

Well done for your weight loss - impressive!

Honeybear30 Wed 15-Jan-14 21:24:23

choccy I am so sorry to hear your news. It wasn't what I was expecting at all when I came to catch up. I hope you've had lots of hugs today and I really do hope you get some answers soon. Sending lots of love.

11 DPO here and no symptoms. Nada. A few twinges but nothing unlike af symptoms. Humph.

Jessica78 Wed 15-Jan-14 21:24:44

Ruby - wow! How wonderful - keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Choccy - a friend of a friend was prescribed a hormone pessary???!? That she uses everyday that helps apparently - I know nothing about it, but thought it worth mentioning xxx

Does anyone take a Magnesium supplement in addition to their conception bits & folic acid?

Treaclepie19 Wed 15-Jan-14 21:29:32

Haha missmrs I'm thinking I could rush down the hallway or use the childrens toilets in my room :p alike you I wouldn't want to tell people too early.

bump well done on your weight loss smile since our conversation on the other thread I've lost 6lb so feeling much better. Still a while to go though!

LittleMissSunshine33 Wed 15-Jan-14 21:39:15

Thanks English that has really helped!!

I'm the same worrying about work before I have anything to really worry about! This year I have reception which is different but I'm loving it!

I'm glad others have done well on SW it was just a lot of info to take in tonight! bumpbangbump that's great weight loss! Missmrs my OH suffered with IBS not nice!! Can't wait to start tomorrow! And DTD is great exercise Win Win!!! grin

Sleepingstarsmommy Wed 15-Jan-14 21:41:41

Choccy my heart goes out to you. I had 3 early mc before a late loss. Sending you huge hugs and will do my best to guide you through your blood tests but Im typing in my phone so not sure how successful I'll be.

Here goes

haematology:Fbc and esr.
clotting screen.
Full blood count checking you have the right amount of different blood cells, esr stands for erythrocyte (type of white blood cell) sedimentation rate. Esr is an indication of inflammation and is usually raised if you have an infection.

biochemistry: u&e, lft, gamma gt, bone profile, glucose, hba,c.

U&E is urea and electrolytes and is to check your kidneys are working ok
LFT is liver function test and gamma gt is to test levels of an enzyme from the liver
Bone profile will measure the proteins minerals and enzymes that are involved in bone turnover
Glucose and hbac will test how well your body is managing its sugar/insulin balance

Thyroid - thyroid function is linked to recurrent mc so they will want to check your within normal limits
Cholesterol - sure you know what this is!

Immunology:crp. C-reactive protein is an indicator of inflammation commonly used to monitor auto immune diseases.

Other:lupus is autoimmune disease and can in some female (but not all) increase their risk of miscarriage, Ana is anti nuclear antibody which is positive for most people with lupus

antiphosphohpid - antiphospholipid syndrome is a blood clotting disorder that can cause mc in 1st and 2nd trimester pregnancy. Usually treated with asprin or clexane.

Basically your doctor is being really thorough in checking your general health and looking for any other clues that may give an indication for a possible cause. Be prepared though that unfortunately alot of the time they do not find a reason and often the blood tests come back normal. So sorry you're having to go through this - be kind to yourself and your DH and take care of each other.

rambini Wed 15-Jan-14 21:41:49

I am just lurking atm, AF came earlier in the month.I have a doctors appt Sat for blood tests to check various hormone levels to indicate ovarian reserves?? Mum and Gran both went through menopause in their 20s so my Dr wants to try and see whats going on.
Also, I can't believe how many teachers are on here! I am also a teacher (year 5), and worry about coping with the stress and workload as I am permenantly exhausted as it is! Also work in a challenging school with some volatile children which is always a worry.

LittleMissSunshine33 Wed 15-Jan-14 21:44:05

Jessica if you try the pregnacare conception tablets they include magnesium folic acid vitamins etc! smile

Treaclepie19 Wed 15-Jan-14 21:45:07

Littlemiss I had Reception my first year of teaching and loved it. I'm early years trained though so its where I feel most comfortable.
Hi rambini smile
You will just have to put yourself and baby first. Make sure you are happy with your action plan!

Jessica78 Wed 15-Jan-14 21:51:31

Hi Sunshine - I take those, but also extra folic acid & vit d, and metformin - wondering about additional magnesium after some reading... Just wondering if anyone else knows anything about it smile xx

missmrsmummy Wed 15-Jan-14 22:01:56

I have Year 6. Used to be secondary so this is great in comparison but also completely absorbing and exhausting!

bumpbangbump Wed 15-Jan-14 22:31:13

I'm really pleased with my weight loss, bit still a way to go! I think this is the first time I've felt like I won't want to give up, for birthdays, special occasions etc. Well I'll have extra treats but won't completely fall off the wagon. Just bought a 12 week count down so will have to stick to it for at least that long. Going to keep doing those until I'm at my target, hopefully early next year.

I'm a bit clueless about all the supliments, been trying to remember to taking folic acid and calcium/vit d but that's it.

Is it wrong that I'm glad its not a shagging night? So tired and getting to bed late because of fat club!

bumpbangbump Wed 15-Jan-14 22:33:00

Oh, and I'm in education too. Post compulsory though so big, smelly, crazy teenagers mostly!

missmrsmummy Wed 15-Jan-14 22:47:50

Bump I know what you mean re: a night off! It's our last 'shot' tonight for this cycle and I'll be glad! It's not the same as just doing it when you feel like it for fun!

bumpbangbump Wed 15-Jan-14 23:01:40

Yes, DTD for fun seems like a distant memory. It doesn't help having a passion killer asleep in his bed, ready to wake up for a screamathon at any point!!! Toddlers are mad creatures...

DoctorDonnaNoble Thu 16-Jan-14 04:47:18

Seeing as we're all sharing I'm secondary. 11-18 English, Drama and RS.

DoctorDonnaNoble Thu 16-Jan-14 06:07:24

Tested this morning BFN hmm

Sleepingstarsmommy Thu 16-Jan-14 06:10:19

Morning ladies.

Only just into the 2ww and already symptom spotting like crazy. Yesterday I was constantly peeing which has normally been an early symptom for me but more likely at this stage to be a UTI from the dtdathon. This morning I've been awake since before 5am with nausea. Both legitimate symptoms if I was more than 5 days post ov

KittyVonCatsington Thu 16-Jan-14 06:40:21

Another teacher here; Secondary! Only just dawned on me my classroom is up two flights of stairs and nearest toilets on the ground floor! Didn't think that through grin

KittyVonCatsington Thu 16-Jan-14 06:44:24

I have no idea if I am in the tww, Sleepingstars as have not has a +ve OPK but am on CD24 and currently don't really have any of the physical symptoms I've been having over the past few weeks. I have, however, been exhausted and falling asleep really early which is unlike me...<fx>

KittyVonCatsington Thu 16-Jan-14 06:52:57

Might be too early, DoctorDonna?

Sleepingstarsmommy Thu 16-Jan-14 06:59:24

Kitty I've been knackered and falling asleep early but that's from 12.5 shifts at the hospital

New level of crazy here - just POAS and got a bfn. Way too early but Im a POAS addict and my IC cheapies were just to temtping.

Morninggrin could be to early, don't lose hope yet.

Sleeping......ooh they could be symptoms even at 5dpogrin

Af has arrived so that's me off this bus although I'll hang around with my Pom poms to cheer you all ongrin

missmrsmummy Thu 16-Jan-14 07:09:53

Thanks spinning

Doctor read back over JustMarriedBecca's recent posts - she had symptoms early and got a BFP!

missmrsmummy Thu 16-Jan-14 07:18:26

Just a question about ov: I got my smiley OPK on Sat am but had sore swollen boobs yesterday (they'd been a bit sore a few days)

Same happened last cycle

Does this mean I ov'd yesterday? Or can this symptom happen a few days after ov?

Dtd Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon and last night so hopefully covered anyway!

DoctorDonnaNoble Thu 16-Jan-14 07:30:49

I'm sitting here in floods of tears. It just feels so unfair. A colleague's due to go on paternity leave any day and I know he cheated on his partner and takes drugs and if I see him I'll either cry or want to punch him (it's his second with her), I know it's not natural but I just feel such a failure at the moment.

misstiggiwinkle Thu 16-Jan-14 07:55:03

Woke up this morning feeling pretty nauseous following a completely unprovoked episode of uncontrollable tears last night - dh is convinced that I'm a 'crazy pregnant lady' (his words) but I feel that at 2dpo it's really too early to be having symptoms... When do most start getting actual symptoms? I'm in my first cycle so am a little clueless!

Doctor...big hugs to you. It's hard ttc and especially after a mc. Don't lose hope it will happen again for you and you're not out this month yet. How many dpo are you?

mrsb87 Thu 16-Jan-14 07:59:20

Donna its perfectly fine to feel that way, im sure if any of us were in your situation we'd be reacting the same. Unfortunately it feels like everyone who doesn't deserve good things to happen to them, it happens to.
Chin up chick, got have some choccy. Keep positive, I know its going to be hard. Sending hugs x

misstiggiwinkle Thu 16-Jan-14 07:59:20

Oh Doctor, you poor thing, that sounds like an awful situation to be in. big hug

DoctorDonnaNoble Thu 16-Jan-14 07:59:53

Spinning - I don't track that so no real idea. I use a period tracker which had AF due on 12th. If nothing by 20th. I'll try again. Think AF will turn up today - I 'm so ridiculously emotional!

DoctorDonnaNoble Thu 16-Jan-14 08:02:57

Mrs b I may have breakfasted on about 75g of chocolate hmm

MissMrs - for me sore boobs are always after ov.

Doctor - I really feel for you, I'm sure it must be heart breaking. I'm worried if might possibly be an emotional wreck too if AF gets me this month. After a mc another pregnancy really feels like the only thing that will heal you. Sending you lots of hugs and luck. You're not out yet hun. X

Moffit Thu 16-Jan-14 10:06:02

So sorry for you choccy hope you get some answers from the bloods!!

Congratulations to becca and rubyshoes good luck for happy and healthy pregnancies!!

I'm jumping off this bus now, had a bfn yesterday and AF arrived this morning sad will join the February bus when I get over my disappointment!

Mofit....sorry af got youthanks

I've just hopped over to Feb bus, I'll save you a seat for when you're feeling ready.

Thanks ladies again.
And thank you for taking the time to explain sleeping. So sorry for your losses, such an awful thing to have to go through.

I've been to have my bloods first thing, they drained me of 7 pots of blood so hopefully I'll get some results this afternoon.
Feeling a bit better but still pretty shit. Had a minor argument with dh this morning and it just sent me over the edge. He shortly apologised and gave me a hug which made me feel better.

Mil and fil just came to collect ds for the day, so I'm off out to visit a friend who had an op on Monday, so we can have a good cry together and lots of shit food. She had her first step of ivf appt Tuesday while she was still in hospital.

Hope the rest of you are ok this morning.
Come on, let's get some more September babies being made!! Xx

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout Thu 16-Jan-14 11:02:58

Hi choccy. Enjoy your day with your friend and enjoy your

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout Thu 16-Jan-14 11:03:51

Sorry posted too quickly there. Enjoy your cry as we all know a cry does you the world of good. xx

allchatnicknamesgone Thu 16-Jan-14 11:08:01

Haven't jumped on the buses for a while myself, but just wanted to send choccy a big sorry from the bottom of my heart. It is completely heart wrenching to suffer 3 mc's so close to one another, but you are doing amazing and you will be ok. Don't stop loosing hope and do exactly what you are doing and just keep going on with life. xx
Waves to everyone else who are on the ttc marathon x

mama31 Thu 16-Jan-14 11:17:27

Sorry for those with bfns's and af's rude arrival! sad

Choccy your an inspirational lady....honestly!! just super!!!! Stay strong! And good luck with results! X

Waves to allchat ;) hey there! smile

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout Thu 16-Jan-14 11:30:41

Yes indeed mama. Choocy is certainly insparational. When I suffered my loss I was all for giving up but D.P talked me round. I still do get fearful that something could go wrong again but you can't base your life on fear or none of us would do anything would we.
AAARRRGGHH back in limbo land again. I woke up this morning after A.F's intrusion with only spots of blood on my towel and watery blood meaning my period has slowed down. At least with a straight forward period you know what's going on.
D.D going out later on after school and I've had a few days off work so D.P is coming down at 4 before he goes to work for an hour of baby making. Well you have to fit it when you can and although I am very very unlikely to be fertile at the moment. It does no harm to practice. xx

sazzlehopes Thu 16-Jan-14 11:58:01

Hi allchat nice to see you here.

Spinning so sorry AF found you, I know you weren't hopeful this month, but I hope that next cycle goes really well for you and your DP can relax and you get lots of dtd KOALA style! x

Choccy - who knows if this is helpful but a friend of mine who like you fell pg 'easily' but lost 2 very close together had to inject herself daily to make baby stay put? Not sure with what exactly but fx it is working and she is into her 3rd trimester now. She had a breeze with her first pg so the mc she suffered were very odd. Hope this helps you, and glad you had all your bloods done today so you get some results soon.

Ginger hows things? Have you had you results yet?

Moffit sorry that af got you too.

LH1981 Thu 16-Jan-14 12:52:36

Hi Ladies,

Choccy hope you're holding up ok, thinking of you. xx

Well, I just had a dating scan and now I'm all worried and stressy. Doctor couldn't see anything. She said there's 3 possible reasons. 1 is ectopic, which she ruled out. 2 is early miscarriage, which again, she said is unlikely as I've had no bleeding and the 3rd reason would be because it's just too early.

So, seeing as I only just got my bfp on Sunday (and confirmed with digi on Tuesday), then I'm hoping that's why. So all that limbo was just that, a missed period and caught in December. Really early days then, and so now just so anxious for all to be ok.
Had bloods done and have to go back Saturday to repeat so they can make sure that the levels are doubling. Fingers crossed very tightly.

DoctorDonnaNoble Thu 16-Jan-14 12:58:52

It's what happened to me. Message me if you want any info

Fingers crossed for you LH, I'm sure you'll be fine. smile

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout Thu 16-Jan-14 13:27:06

Yay I'm out of limbo. A.F back with a vengence. Now, that's something I thought I'd never say, but at least I know where I stand. xxx

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout Thu 16-Jan-14 13:27:52

Although I have to say my body really does confuse me at times. xxx

barmybunting Thu 16-Jan-14 16:23:22

choccy I'm so sorry to read your update. You are so positive, I have immense admiration for you. I only wish it wasn't due to such a crappy situation. Thank goodness the gp is running tests. Please let us know how you get on.

As a random question, Dr google is giving me conflicting advice, there's a surprise wink . But can anyone clarify- does everyone get visible implantation bleeding with pregnancy or not? ie. if you don't have it, does it mean you aren't pregnant or is it more unusual that it appears at first glance? Thanks!

Knottyknitter Thu 16-Jan-14 16:25:16

Aha, new thread! Hi gals!

Choccy, I hope you get some answers with your results - are you getting a gynae referral regardless or depending on bloods? Might be worth going and speaking to the specialists?

We've been thwarted this time round by hideous low back pain at cd 15. Not charting or ov testing as I know that will send me to the brink, but devastated to have 3 mid cycle days where I couldn't stand DP turning over in bed, let alone dtd! Feeling better slowly though, and it's not over till AF arrives...

sazzlehopes Thu 16-Jan-14 17:04:11

Barmy - what is with your cryptic message?! I don't remember implantation bleeding at all with my first.... Spill the surprise- I could do with cheering up I'm having an awful day work wise.

LH - fx crossed for you then that is it is just too early to show. How frustrating to have to wait even longer to know. Hope those bloods turn out ok for you. Keep us posted.

Barmy... I dont think everyone gets i/b. I did with last bfp, was browny red and a bit snotty looking. Lasted 2 days.

Knottyknitter Thu 16-Jan-14 17:21:30

Barmy, ib isn't as common as you think, more don't have it than do, overall, and not universally a good thing if it is there, as too early to tell iyswim. Promising though...

ImaginaryHat Thu 16-Jan-14 17:30:22

Barmy, I think I read something way back in my early days of ttc that's said implantation bleeding only happens about 10% of the time, we just hear about it a lot on here because obviously theres a large number of people talking about conception. Therefore because we hear/talk about it a lot its seems much more common than it actually is. Have no memory of where the stat came from though!

MrsExtraOrdinary Thu 16-Jan-14 17:32:13

Hello I think I might have got on the wrong bus! I'm new to these boards, although I may be here some time if last baby is anything to go by.

My af is due on 22nd (Wednesday) which is also my bday.

I thought I'd well and truly missed the boat this month but am unbelievably tired and very Hungary for at least a week. I even made cakes! So now I'm wondering?!

I'm hoping I won't turn into a neurotic lunatic like last time waiting.....

sazzlehopes Thu 16-Jan-14 17:33:37

I've reread your message properly now, i'm an idiot. You meant 'there's a surprise' not 'there IS a surprise'.
Oh well.... blush hmm

MrExtra, You're in the right place! Welcome! Hope you get your bfp soon!!

ImaginaryHat Thu 16-Jan-14 17:45:02

Sazzle, I piac, then stumbled whilst holding it and promptly tipped it down my front, that was a surprise! Gross!

sazzlehopes Thu 16-Jan-14 17:46:35

Ha Imaginary! Good surprise and you cheered me up! Hope you're ok though? Was it for an opk test or a preggo test?!!

ImaginaryHat Thu 16-Jan-14 17:51:37

Neither, it was for a gross reason so I suppose I deserved it really! I noticed that the last 2 months when I conceived that when I was testing my wee was really smelly, so symptom spotting like a crazy person I wanted to see if it was this month! It wasnt, and now i have it all down my cardigan. That'll teach me to be so disgusting won't it! How are you doing, any symptoms? (Not had chance to read back all of today).

Also, welcome MrsExtra smile

KittyVonCatsington Thu 16-Jan-14 17:55:52

Oh dear-this isn't a good sign! TMI alert!! Just went to use an OPK and got some thick white V Discharge: period might be on it's way. Not expecting it for about a week or so though confused

sazzlehopes Thu 16-Jan-14 18:35:38

Imaginary - no not really any symptoms today...just waiting it out now. Earlist testing would be Monday but I'm going to wait it out as long as I can bear! And your piac reason isn't that bad, what with all the crotch watch chat and cervical inspection. Sniffing your own wee is pretty mild!

Kitty, not necessarily bad - good be any number of other reasons. Implantation etc...

Honeybear30 Thu 16-Jan-14 18:56:33

Hey Sazzle smile it's always nice to see familiar names around the same time i'm expecting af. I have had bad cramps today! I even used a liner all day because I was convinced af was going to show. Due on Sunday but I think I could get caught out tomorrow. Fx she doesn't!

barmybunting Thu 16-Jan-14 18:59:44

sazzle, that made me laugh, sorry about the confusion smile . Sarcasm gone wrong on my parent, I meant there should be no surprise that Dr google didn't give me a straight answer smile .

Thanks everyone, I was just wondering about implantation bleeding as I think I had it last month with chem, but currently about 10dpo this cycle and I haven't seen anything, so I was wondering if lack of meant I was out the game this cycle as a result. I'm glad to hear it's not that common, fingers crossed smile . If you need a laugh, although not a nice surprise, it was funny anyway- I was waiting on a street corner outside a pub last night to meet a friend for dinner when a car pulled up. A man stuck his head out and shouted to me, "hey love, you busy?" When I told him to bugger off, he asked if I was waiting for a better offer! I had a good laugh at that.

Imaginary, sorry, but I had a good laugh at your tale. Not what you needed!

barmybunting Thu 16-Jan-14 19:01:30

And p.s. sazzle, I see you talking of poas on Monday. I'm trying to hold out until then, can I join you as a poas buddy for then to try to motivate me not to test this weekend?

Honeybear30 Thu 16-Jan-14 19:05:12

barmy that's so funny!! I can't believe that happened?! Surely it only happens in cheesy cop shows lol? Ha ha!

barmybunting Thu 16-Jan-14 19:07:25

honey goodness knows what they were doing! I don't know if he was just having me on or what, he sat in the car beside the pub after that and I walked away. It was in the centre of Edinburgh as well, hardly somewhere quiet to pick someone up!

barmybunting Thu 16-Jan-14 19:10:51

I wish mumsnet had a proof checker, I meant mistake on on part, not my parent!!

And you've got me thinking sazzle. Grammatically, should it be there's a surprise or theres a surprise? I think it should be there's as a contraction for there is but in that sentence, it doesn't look right. Confused now! Can any fellow teachers or grammar lovers shed any light?

mrsb87 Thu 16-Jan-14 19:16:44

Hehe barmy that made me chuckle!! Hope everyone has had a good day? Been an uber busy day at work with a few stressful elements!
Been having period type pains today but af not due til satursay next week, 6dpo. Hoping its a good sign!!

LittleMissSunshine33 Thu 16-Jan-14 19:27:35

Oh choccy hope you're ok sending lots of (((hugs))) your way!
LH fingers X if she's ruled out the others then I'm sure it's just early!!

I came home today to find OH laying on the floor he's hurt his back! Poor thing ... No DTD for us typical as still on flashing smileys!!

MrsExtraOrdinary Thu 16-Jan-14 19:31:53

grin Hi everyone, glad I'm in the right place. The wee sniffing made me laugh as my top symptom was baking! blush

Mind you I've nearly be headed my dh with what i would say is raving pmt. but I also cried today 3 times just because I'm tired?! shock Verging on the pathetic ness! Did think about knicker watch earlier but forgot I was wearing black pantshmm

missmrsmummy Thu 16-Jan-14 19:33:32

mrsb same cramps here today! not due til Fri next week.

barmy I'm a teacher and I love grammar! It's there's :-)

Honeybear30 Thu 16-Jan-14 19:34:10

Ladies I've just come across this if you need a giggle ...

I only got three pages in but it is BRILLIANT.

missmrsmummy Thu 16-Jan-14 19:34:19

I don't get what crotch watch is? Is it looking for AF?

Honeybear30 Thu 16-Jan-14 19:34:44
KittyVonCatsington Thu 16-Jan-14 19:45:56

Just had a quick glance,Honeybear and it made me chuckle! DH can in after work and I pounced on him even though he had just cycled home from work and was sweaty. Seems that TTC negates a preference for sex hygiene! Needs must grin

MrsExtraOrdinary Thu 16-Jan-14 19:49:56

Honeybear I'm on that thread!!blush

Mammy2Be Thu 16-Jan-14 19:52:29

Can I hop on board ladies? TTC#2, cycle #3.
BFP due 24th Jan-ish. Might try to wait until the following week to POAS as I have very irregular cycles and so would hate to get a disheartening BFN if I then get a BFP the following week.
Although I would say my chances of holding out another week are pretty slim

Onlymydogunderstandsme Thu 16-Jan-14 19:53:25

hi everyone, hope you all have had a good day.

had a bad start to the day when I had someone drive into the back of me on the way to work! luckily DS was absolutely fine, I seem to have some whiplash but got checked out by the doctor as wanted reassurance it wouldn't have hurt the little bean. Doctor said it would be fine but try to avoid painkillers this early in pregnancy so going for a bath in a min to try to relax!

Choccy I hope you are feeling better after seeing your friend.

After DTD anyone else struck by battle between the desperate need for a wee and wanting to keep swimmers in as long as possible! That's me right now! Legs crossed... Up in the air!!

sazzlehopes Thu 16-Jan-14 19:58:00

I notice MrsKoala aka chief peddler is first to comment on that thread! Amazing!!

mama31 Thu 16-Jan-14 19:58:35

Honeybear thanks for that!!! Hahaha!! Brightened up my day!!!! Only read a few pages but will be back for more, hilarious!!!! Who are these people?!!!!

mrsb87 Thu 16-Jan-14 20:01:53

Lol honeybear!!! That is all kinds of awesomeness. I've not cringed and laughed so hard for a long time!

mama31 Thu 16-Jan-14 20:02:20

Mrsextraordinary don't worry we share everything on these threads!!!! Haha!!!!

ImaginaryHat Thu 16-Jan-14 20:03:57

Oh my goodness I can't breathe. Literally crying so hard with laughing, tears rolling down my face, can't get my words out laughing. Dh thinks Ive officially lost it. Whenever I'm feeling down I'm going to read a bit of that thread. Thank you for sharing honeybear!

LittleMissSunshine33 Thu 16-Jan-14 20:08:05

OnlyMyDog hope you're ok!! Must have been scary?!

Honeybear that is so funny!!

English I'm exactly the same after DTD! And for some reason I've had the giggles after which doesn't help matters!!

Owlie84 Thu 16-Jan-14 20:08:21

MrsB, I'm having mild AF style pains too and I'm not due til next Sunday! Fingers crossed eh?!

KittyVonCatsington Thu 16-Jan-14 20:12:01

That's me right now! Legs crossed... Up in the air!!. That's my girl grin

I'm sometimes like that before DTD... Do I go to the loo or strike while the iron's hot??!!

sazzlehopes Thu 16-Jan-14 20:12:23

Barmy, yes be my poas buddy - i'm holding out til monday AT LEAST as that will be 10-12dpo as I'm not entirely sure when i ov. So if I can hold out further I'd be better but we will see how I feel!!!

Honeybear30 Thu 16-Jan-14 20:16:32

mrsextra I assume you are not the lady who chose to share what she does with toothpaste?! It was that part of the conversation that had me in absolute hysterics! You are all quite welcome for the giggles smile

Re: legs in the essential is this? I normally run straight to the loo after dtd but assuming af comes in the next couple of days I might try this. I wonder if maybe this is the problem as the swimmers come out so quickly! (Sorry waaaaaay tmi I know but who else can I discuss this with !)

mrsb87 Thu 16-Jan-14 20:27:38

Oh owlie I know im being completely daft but I can't help getting excited

mrsb87 Thu 16-Jan-14 20:31:05

I must admit ladies this is always a debate I have with myself after dtd but I dont want dh to laugh at me if I sit there for half an hour with my legs in the air!!

I lay for half an hour... Then had to dash for fear of peeing myself! I'm with you kitty... I sometimes have that dilemma before too! Do I kill the mood and dash or crack on and be even more desperate after!

Oh and that toothpaste on arsehole thread?! Jesus Christ! Are you lot trying to kill me off! Crying laughing! Trying to tell DH but can't spit my words out!! Hillarious!!

KittyVonCatsington Thu 16-Jan-14 20:42:10

I will never look at Roary the Racing Car toothpaste again...

barmybunting Thu 16-Jan-14 21:39:38

Thanks missmrs smile .

honey that thread is hilarious! Thanks for sharing! I'm staying with my parents for a few days and trying not to explain what I'm laughing at!

sazzle, I get why you are hoping to wait until later next week to poas. I'm not 100% sure on ov dates either so not sure what dpo Monday will be so waiting is a plan. Although I will admit that I have already poa ic on Tuesday but with valid reason, it was my Grandfather's 90th birthday so I thought it was worth a go! Oh the reasons we use to justify poas! Monday it is smile .

Gingerpanther27 Thu 16-Jan-14 23:46:47

Not read back yet just to pop on to say got results back. Not pregnant and thyroid is fine. If my period hasn't turned up next month they'll start investigating. Cd54 now.

LittleMissSunshine33 Fri 17-Jan-14 07:05:54

Ladies I finally have my constant smiley (peak fertility) but did not DTD last night or the night before because OH has hurt his back! Does this mean I should OV today? Am I too late now this month? confused

Ginger pleased you've got an answer now but sorry it's not a bfp. Hoping af arrives for you soonthanks

Fingers crossed for lots more bfp's on this busgrin

Still getting flashing smilies...I only have one stick left! Better get my fixed tomorrow otherwise I'm gonna have to just keep DTD everyday til DH goes away for a few days next thurs!
LittleMiss - def not out. This is the time to go for it. When you get the peak you will usually ovulate within the next 12-36 hours. Dtd the next 3 days! Good luck!

Oh and Ginger, I'm glad you finally got an answer, just sorry it's not the one you wanted. Hope AF comes soon so you won't need further investigation

Rubyshoe Fri 17-Jan-14 07:48:39

Ginger just wanted to say I'm glad you have an answer but sorry it isn't the one you wanted and we all wanted for you. Hope the witch turns up soon for you.

Honey personally I rate the legs in the styleeee. last few months have gone for the bum in the air on the pillow approach but this month when we got out BFp and the month we conceived our angel it was a legs up the wall thing.... Stats for anyone who likes that kind of thing (I do) CBfM, pregnacare tablets and preseed. Highs on CD 14, 15, 16 peaks on 17 & 18. DTD on 14,16,17 and 18.

Kittyrose1 Fri 17-Jan-14 07:52:42

Good morning everyone, I have not checked in for a few days as been away this week and see we are on thread 3! Congrats to the BFPs ladies, but sorry to those wih bfns sad

Today is cd32 my average cycle is 28days, if no sign of AF today then I will test tomorrow. Random question though, can I save FMU?

Only just read back through, sorry Ginger hope you get AF soon, the waiting is awful. Only hope you're ok today and your neck isn't too painful.
I'm on CD37 today and woke up in the night with period pains but no AF. No idea what's going on but will POAS tomorrow if she doesn't turn up today hmm
Good luck to any POASers today smile

kitty you can save fmu but makes sure it's room temp when you dip! I'll be your POAS buddy tomorrow x

sazzlehopes Fri 17-Jan-14 09:11:21

Ginger so sorry it wasn't the greatest of news, but at least you are clearer on one thing now. Hope af turns up pronto and saves you from further investigations x

Wineandchoccy Fri 17-Jan-14 09:19:36

I've had a stabby pain on my right side during the night, I've never noticed this before but could it be ovulation pain? I'm on cd 22 and cycles have been between 36 and 41 days.

I haven't got any opks so can't test, DH is home at 2.30 and I am working from home today so going to be waiting for him grin

Congrats to all those with BFP.

Unfortunately the witch turned up bang on time here this morning. Feeling absolutely gutted. Made worse by the fact my bro & SIL announced their pregnancy yesterday, complete with 12wk scan pics. Happy for them obviously but I won't lie, I'm very jealous too.

Good luck to everyone still on this bus. Hope not to see you on the next one!! X

ImaginaryHat Fri 17-Jan-14 10:08:44

Ginger sorry you didnt get the news you wanted, but i guess its a relief to know even if it wasn't the best news. Hope af turns up soon for you so you can get cracking again.

Polythene, sorry af got you, combined with other preg announcement it's pretty rough. Hope youre doing ok x

I found out late last night a friend of mine is expecting with his fiance. They've not been together long and she's quite very controlling, has pushed to get engaged quickly and now theyre expecting (hes lovely but a total pushover). Im ashamed to say my initial reaction (internally!) was 'oh fuck off'. Then my rational side kicked in and of course I'm happy for him, hes going to have a lovely baby, but its amazing how hearing other peoples news can change your mood immediately. I'm not a total bitch, honest!

LH1981 Fri 17-Jan-14 10:14:43

Ginger sorry the results weren't what you hoped for - silver lining though, I got pregnant without a period - just skipped one for some reason but obviously still ovulated, so there's still hope.

Hi all. Had scan, nothing wrong inside, but been advised to have a 'month off' and have been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic. Still not heard about bloods. Just thought I'd let you know.
Take care all xx

sazzlehopes Fri 17-Jan-14 10:53:54

Choccy - glad all is ok inside. Hope you have lovely things planned for your 'month off' as you deserve it. Good luck when you start again, and if you can bear to pop in from time to time to keep me and the other old timers up to date with how you are i'd like to know. Thinking of you, and hope you get the sticky one you deserve soon xx

ImaginaryHat Fri 17-Jan-14 10:59:15

That's good to hear choccy, and good that you've been referred too as they will be more specialist than your gp. Hoping that a month off is all you need and then you get your sticky one. Take care x

DoctorDonnaNoble Fri 17-Jan-14 11:09:45

Good luck Choccy!

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout Fri 17-Jan-14 11:28:27

Hi Choccy. Glad everything inside was okay. Enjoy your month off. Hope everything works out. xxx

Kittyrose1 Fri 17-Jan-14 11:32:27

Thanks Monday, so I can just leave it in a cup covered over at room temp for a few hours before testing? Pleased to have a pg test buddy smile fx hey !!

bellaboo88 Fri 17-Jan-14 11:40:08

Hi all, just got back, holiday was fantastic to take my mind off stuff!!

Sorry to all with AF & non sticky sad & congrats to those with bfps!

Predicted ov tomorrow (cd15) but last month I got it on cd17 I think (due to huge glob of ewcm)

Going to what someone said about fmu, it does say on packet about getting it at room temp, does any1 do this? I'm too impatient! X

BeatrixKidding Fri 17-Jan-14 11:54:54

IUI cycle 1, BFP was due 19th Jan.

Not wanting to wait, we used one of those mega-early predictor kits and it gave us a negative the day before yesterday. Which I was kind of expecting because surely to goodness they've got to be a bit vague if you're only a week from conception, right?

Sadly, wrong. Hello Auntie Flo. Bugger.

So we're back off to the clinic in Denmark again the weekend after next. Which, whilst quite exciting, is also a bloody long way to go for a little pipette of spunk...

mama31 Fri 17-Jan-14 12:05:38

Hey choccy, glad your scan showed no issues and good luck for rest of results. I really really hope you can plan a timetable of lovely things for your month off ie: massages/beauty treatments/manicures, lunches with Friends, dinner dates with DH and if possible a little wkend break away somewhere would do you the world of good....a spa break is what you need my love!!!! take care of yourself and let us know how your doing! Thinking of you xx

Thanks ladies. We've actually got a break planned mama for next mon-fri. Going back to bluestone in wales with my gorgeous man and beautiful boy with some friends. Just what I need tbh and it couldn't have come at a better time.

You have all been great and supportive and you will never realise how much being on here has helped. I don't have masses of friends in rl that I am offload to and for you all to be here to rant, cry and/or celebrate with has been wonderful.
Big hugs to you all.

I prob won't be on for a bit, but thank you all for everything and I wish you all and your eventual babies a very happy, healthy and wonderful future.
Lots of love xxxx

Ps I will miss your madness mama xx

Good luck Choccy. I'm glad that your scan showed no issues internally.
Enjoy your break with your family, you sure need it. I hope you do get to the bottom of things and wish you all the love and luck in the world that you do get your longed for sticky one. You really are incredibly strong and positive. Lots of love x

ItsChristmaass Fri 17-Jan-14 13:10:56

Congrats to all the latest a bfps.
And sorry to all those af has got.

Need a bit of advise..
Been having af type pains for the past 6 days (from cd15, on day 21 now) they can get quite strong from time to time. Spoke to my nurse today and thinks it's high levels of progesterone making the pains. Has anyone ever had this? I never have. I thought it may of been cuz of the clomid treatment. Any input welcomed lol smile

ItsChristmaass Fri 17-Jan-14 13:13:28

Also good luck Choccy. thanks
I hope you start to feel better soon and stay positive. I hope things work out for you. X

mama31 Fri 17-Jan-14 13:19:33

That's just what you need choccy!!!! Take care! Xx

Ps what! really?!! ;)

((Whispers)) I have just bought condoms shock. Me and dh have been together 16.5 years and we've NEVER used them, this'll be fun wink

MrsNelis Fri 17-Jan-14 13:55:06

Choccy, I've been following your story so sorry :'o(

TTC#1 Cycle#1 BFP due 19Jan

2WW is coming to an end, AF is due on Sunday/Monday. I have not had any symptoms and did not time DTD very well (DTD twice at either extreme of the fertile window). I'm pretty sure I ovulated on 15Jan but OPK was never positive. Somehow I still have a glimmer of hope at the possibility of a BFP and not looking forward to AF spoiling my day dreams.

In February there will be no OPKs and lots of DTD, I just want to get on with it grin)!

Blithereens Fri 17-Jan-14 14:14:34

AF turned up this morning. Alas. Weird one really - incredibly late and absolutely no symptoms or spotting, which I usually get.

Ah, well.

SparrowSG Fri 17-Jan-14 14:21:20

Newbie here smile

TTC #1, cycle 4. AF due yesterday, BFP today!

Giving hope (I hope) to the 'oldies' here as I am almost 39.

Good luck all.

MrsNelis Fri 17-Jan-14 14:28:22

Excellent news sparrow! I'm 36 and very concious about age. Your great news certainly makes me feel better.

onelifeonechance Fri 17-Jan-14 14:50:02

I've not been on for a couple of days and just want to say how sad I am for you Choccy, so sorry to read of what you're going through. Take care of yourself and follow everyone's very good advice, we're all thinking of you and rooting for you x

Ruby shoes, I am so very pleased to read of your bfp, wishing you lots of love and luck

Congrats to the other BFPs and so sorry spinning and those who af rudely got, best of luck for the Feb bus

4dpo here - NOTHING to report!!

Imaginary, you are def not a bitch and I admit to the 'well good for you' sarcastic little voice in my head happening when I first hear of BFPs despite how much I love or like the person saying it (apart from you guys on here!!) Hope it's not made you feel too meh, hang in there hon, we'll get there smile

Has anyone seen m33r? Hope you're ok! Lots of luck as always xx

mama31 Fri 17-Jan-14 15:55:28

Choccy....enjoy getting to grips with those!!! Haha!!!! Sure its good to try everything once!! ;)

Congrats sparrow! smile

sazzlehopes Fri 17-Jan-14 16:37:44

No symptoms today. No matter though ever hopeful I'm off to buy superdrug preggo tests tomorrow to use some point next week when my resolve not to poas until AFTER af is due fails!

MrsNelis Fri 17-Jan-14 16:43:24

I was determined not to obsess about all this, however after reading a week by week account of pregnancy this afternoon and then looking at the science of early pregnancy tests and discovering I am close to giving in. I want to poas! Its so hard keeping a level head.

I'm going to go home and try and talk myself out of it! confused

KittyVonCatsington Fri 17-Jan-14 17:17:11

Have a blast, Choccy!!

Its Christmaas, I have experienced what you have since coming off the Pill and is perfectly normal and yes, all done to those pesky hormones!

CD25 and STILL NO +VE OPK, GAAH! Still, DTD every other day is keeping DH extremely happy! Well done on the BFP, sparrow and harsh luck to all the BFNs. Going out tonight and going to be having to sneakily reduce the obvious signs I am not drinking, oh the joys!!

Happy Friday, Ladies grin

sazzlehopes Fri 17-Jan-14 17:50:45

MrsN I don't know what cycle you're on but I promise myself every time that I will not worry about the 2ww and every time I go crazy between 4dpo and 12dpo wondering if I've done it. And after 14 cycles I still haven't learnt my lesson and still disappoint myself with a bfn!!! Instead if just waiting for AF to show up! And I know already I'll be no different this cycle!!!

ImaginaryHat Fri 17-Jan-14 18:12:28

Lol Choccy have fun with the condoms!

Thanks onelife I dont feel like so much of a bitch now I know other people think it too! Not seen M33r post in a while, although I dont go on that many other threads, hope she's ok.

8dpo here I think, tested this am and obviously bfn. Feel justified testing early this month as after the 2 early mcs the last two months I want to keep an eye on what's happening in case it happens again. 8dpo is probably stupidly early though! Got a few potential symptoms, but I'm back on the b6 this month and that made me feel funny last time (taking a lower dose now) so it could just be that. Why does time go so slowly in the 2ww?!

Hope you get your +ve opks soon kitty, must be driving you mad!

How you doing mama? You back opk-ing this month or still going with the relaxed approach?

Treaclepie19 Fri 17-Jan-14 18:30:08

Trying to catch

Treaclepie19 Fri 17-Jan-14 18:30:55

I have no idea why that just posted :s stupid phone.

LittleMissSunshine33 Fri 17-Jan-14 19:04:33

Hope you have an amazing break choccy!

Thanks English that's very reassuring!!

I had cuddles with my friends three day old today!! OMG what a mix of emotions I felt.. Broody, tearful, happy, upset and jealous all in one! But glad I saw her, it makes what I'm doing and the crazy conception bubble I'm in so worth it!!! smile

MrsNelis Fri 17-Jan-14 19:10:54

BFN. However hard I strain my eyes and what ever angle I look at it, it's still a BFN. Still it's only cycle one and AF is not due to show her ugly face until at least Sunday. I still might test again with morning pee on Sunday or Monday if AF is not here on time.

mama31 Fri 17-Jan-14 19:54:28

Hi imaginary! No after 2 months of no opking I figured I'd like to know when I ov this month! Don't know why, I just think I end up guessing how many dpo I am anyway so I might as well get that bit right!! How are you doing? Opk is slightly stronger today but not positive so I'm thinking O day will be Monday....DH is off tomorrow and Sunday so planning a wkend of dtd ;) and will see where we can fit it in early next week also!

Well I just purchased Manuka honey....honestly didn't mean to....was in Holland and Barrett for something else and bumped in to a whole shelf of manuka honey staring at Koala Plan is fully in action now....Mrskoala where are you??? You should be so proud of me ;)

I took a tablespoon of it about an hour ago....boke!!!! but needs must ;) mrskoala I'm putting all my faith in this plan now.....hope it works!!!!!! smile

ItsChristmaass Fri 17-Jan-14 20:08:58

KittyVon thanks for replying. I've never had it before.. Been ttc for 13 months now and never had this pain this early before af. confused It's quite bad at times.

ImaginaryHat Fri 17-Jan-14 20:43:49

Hey mama, yeah am ok ta, just wishing time away to get the 2ww over and done with, hopefully without af putting in an appearance!

Yeah I had 1 month without opks and hated it, I feel a bit more in control knowing when Ive ov'd, at least you can count the 2ww down then and know if you end up being 'late'. You're just entering the good bit now though aren't you! Have a good weekend wink Never even heard of that honey before the koala plan, will let you be the guinea pig on that one!

mama31 Fri 17-Jan-14 20:47:33

I hope the 2ww goes quickly for you and you get your bfp!!!! Good luck! And you have a good wkend too!!! I'm pretty certain if the koala plan works for me that most ladies on here will be on it by next cycle! Hahaha!!!!

ImaginaryHat Fri 17-Jan-14 21:03:32

Lol, Ive done the pedalling, although after ov I think, if dont get bfp this month will adopt it in full next time, especially if it gives you your bfp!!

KittyVonCatsington Fri 17-Jan-14 22:25:13

ItsChristmaas - could it be <whisper> implantation pains? At the very least, is probably ovulation pains. FX!

Honeybear30 Fri 17-Jan-14 22:36:59

Evening all smile 13 DPO here. Was convinced yesterday that af would be here as I had really bad cramps on 11 and 12 DPO. But nothing! Normally af comes the day after the cramps. Hmmm. I have no other symptoms, like seriously nothing. Not tired, no sore nips, don't feel sick.

Keep fx for me that af doesn't appear tomorrow! If I'm feeling very brave I might be able to do my very first ever poas on Sunday!

mama31 Fri 17-Jan-14 22:50:00

Good luck honeybear!!!!

missmrsmummy Fri 17-Jan-14 23:15:17

Wah, I feel like I really don't know my body! OPK smiley on Sat, no ewcm to note but had quite a bit that 'normal'? I thought it was meant to come during ov

Kittyrose1 Sat 18-Jan-14 00:02:50

Hi ladies, I couldn't wait and so I poas tonight - it was a BFP!!! I can't quite believe it!!grin here's to hoping it is a nice sticky one that grows into a healthy bundle of joy.
Good luck everyone testing this weekend and chin up to those with AF visits x

Congratulations Kitty!! Gives me hope for tomorrow smile
So if you could give us your montly stats- DTD days, ov day, what dpo you are and all the symptoms so the rest of us can obsess!! Who will be my POAS buddy now?!? X

Kittyrose1 Sat 18-Jan-14 07:04:02

Thanks monday sorry for standing you up as your poas buddy! Fx for your bfp smile

Stats -
Kittyrose1 ttc #1 cycle #2 BFP 17th jan
~ DTD - cd6,8,9,10,11,13,14,15, 16, 18, 21.
~ Ov'd - no idea as no positive opk but did get slightly increased cm (no ewcm though) from cd10 - 15.
~ DPO therefore approx16/17 days (fertility app says 17dpo)
~ symptoms have included a couple of fleeting waves of nausea and also feeling dizzy, but they quickly pass. My skin has gotten really oily, to the point my fringe is mega greasy after just one day , also heaps of spots over my back (which I haven't has since a teenager). I also have been getting weird little twinges that feel like they are in the uterus area.
~ tips/tricks I followed included taking Robitussin Chesty Cough medicine x2 5ml everyday from cd 6 to 16, as well as EPO x2 1000mg. I did NUDP after most BD sessions.

I think that's about it... Hopefully something here will help someone else, fx.

Fivemoreminutesmummy Sat 18-Jan-14 07:06:39

I'm out. AF arrived yesterday. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

Treaclepie19 Sat 18-Jan-14 07:22:34

Congrats kitty!
Sorry to those AF got.

I'm getting the urge to POAS now at around 9DPO argh...

Congrats Kitty!! And great that despite no positive OPK you still got your BFP!!

I'm on cd 19 now. Run out of OPKs now too. Still no fixed smiley so I'm goin to have to keep DTD! I'm temping but that appears to be showing me bugger all either!
DH goes away on Thursday so I think I'm gonna have to just pinned him down every night between now and then!

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 07:46:40

Will done you, KittyRose1! You give me hope seeing as you didn't get a positive OPK either <FX>

Quick question, what's EPO and NUDP (and why does cough medicine help)?

DoctorDonnaNoble Sat 18-Jan-14 07:50:13

I'm out. It's been a really difficult month. My hormones have clearly been all over the place and my PMS symptoms have now changed - they are now even more like pregnancy symptoms - goody. I'm over to February now. Hopefully won't see too many of you there!

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 07:54:52

Oh, DoctorDonnaNoble-lots of virtual hugs here. Does that at least mean that AF has arrived and are no longer in limbo land? I'll keep up with your news on the Feb bus as I have been following your story since I arrived on here and would like you to have a BFP so much!

Kittyrose1 Sat 18-Jan-14 07:55:30

Thanks girls still feels pretty surreal!
Kittyvon and English I did ic OPKs from amazon and I did them all different times of day and I'm not sure I gave them the best go as I think you should do them the same time everyday? Still all the ones I did do were negative.
kittyvon EPO is evening primrose oil (suppose to be good for producing ewcm) and NUDP is naked upside down pedalling lol!
The reason I took the cough medicine is because I read last month that it contains the ingredient guaifenesin which for coughs thins out the mucus to make a more productive cough but it also does this to mucus throughout the body including cervical mucus which helps the swimmers along their way!

Kittyrose1 Sat 18-Jan-14 07:59:04

Sorry ladies with AF sad fx and tx for a feb bfp

DoctorDonnaNoble Sat 18-Jan-14 08:00:07

Where's the February thread? I can't find it hmm

DoctorDonnaNoble Sat 18-Jan-14 08:03:46

Kitty - yup, witch is here! I'm in Wales as DH is running up and down Pen Y Fan carrying 35lb on his back today. Going to treat myself this weekend, and get back on it as soon as possible. Let myself think it could happen this month. So sad at the minute as my best RL friend (who had multiple miscarriages and would be a fab support) is on adoption leave at the minute.

amy246 Sat 18-Jan-14 08:09:46

Just tested on CD32 and got my BFPgrin! Wasn't expecting it as symptoms haven't been that obvious: a bit tired, bit hungry, period pains but no period, sore boobs. Let's hope this bus is lucky for everyone else too, fx

mrsb87 Sat 18-Jan-14 08:11:39

Oooh sorry guys that af got, evil moo!
Congrats kitty sounds like you really put the effort in! I hope the little bean sticks.

I am still very much in the game, been completely off my food for 3 days, cramps like af is coming but in not due on til next Saturday? ! Ben uber tired and sleep, actually went to bed at 9 last night. 7 dpso. Want to peos now!!

Kittyrose1 Sat 18-Jan-14 08:20:57

Congrats Amy! Mine was on cd32 as well, how exciting. Mrsb87 I have been shattered this week thinking about y,
I had to have a nap yesterday afternoon! Fx

missmrsmummy Sat 18-Jan-14 08:27:38

Yay Kitty and well done for Dtd so much - good work!

Fx for everyone. I have 6 more days to wait BUT AF came tomorrow last cycle so every day that passes from tomo to Fri is another step closer to my BFP!

I don't feel pg. I have sore boobs (but had that last month) and AF style cramps but only mild. Also lots if ewcm yesterday and today.

Anyone poas today?

Sorry for those who are off the bus :-(

Congrats Amy!! smile

Honeybear30 Sat 18-Jan-14 08:56:11

So it turns out those cramps must have been implantation cramps since I got a bfp this morning! Dh convinced me to be brave and do my first test so that we would just know. I'm very happy but also cautious as this is pg #1, baby #1.

Just to reassure you all, other than cramps on 11 and 12 DPO I have no symptoms. Nothing at all out of the ordinary. I was convinced on those days it was over. And then I just felt like af wasn't coming which is why I did the test. But honestly I feel completely normal. So there is always hope!!

MrsExtraOrdinary Sat 18-Jan-14 08:57:52

Can I ask what evening primrose oil is good for in pg? I used to take it for pmt but stopped as it said not advised if ttc.
I'm currently taking a concoction:
Thyroxine, iron, folicacid, calcium & magnesium.

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 08:58:36

Explains why I didn't get any luck Googling NUDP-forgot it was part of the Koala plan!

MrsExtraOrdinary Sat 18-Jan-14 08:59:03

Ewcm? Sorry I AM a newbie!

missmrsmummy Sat 18-Jan-14 09:08:38

Yay Honey!

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 09:22:41

Very happy for, you, Honeybear! -fantastic news! You must be on cloud nine grin

MrsE, EWCM is the 'mucus' or discharge that is quite clear and stretchy and best for all the little, swimmers and peaks around the time of ovulation.

ImaginaryHat Sat 18-Jan-14 09:23:02

Wow congrats kitty, Amy and honey, what a great start to the weekend for the Jan bus!!

MrsExtra ewcm is egg white cervical mucus. Its when your cervical mucus goes thin and stretchy, like an egg white consistency. It happens around the time of ovulation and helps the sperm reach their destination. However, not everyone gets it (I get a bit but not a lot), so there are a few tricks rumoured to help, like the cough medicine or various supplements. I usually use preseed which mimics it, used cough medicine early this cycle too.

ImaginaryHat Sat 18-Jan-14 09:23:50

Whoops x post with kitty on ewcm!

ImaginaryHat Sat 18-Jan-14 09:30:39

Whoops x post with kitty on ewcm!

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 09:35:04

Your explanation is better, ImaginaryHat wink

LittleMissSunshine33 Sat 18-Jan-14 09:40:33

Congratulations kitty any and honey!! Here's hoping to healthy sticky happy pregnancies!

Sorry all BFNshmm

Are there many people left on the Jan bus?? My AF/BFB isn't due til 30th?

ImaginaryHat Sat 18-Jan-14 09:40:38

Lol I think we gave pretty much identical explanations, I just used more words haha!

missmrsmummy Sat 18-Jan-14 09:50:00

We could do with an update! So many BFPs but quite a few gone to Feb bus.
I'm still here! BFP due 24th

But now I feel like AF is coming to get me! Was cd 24 last time and that's tomorrow for me.

Owlie84 Sat 18-Jan-14 10:02:43

I'm still here! AF/BFP due next Sunday smile I'm on 8dpo and feel annoyingly normal. and it's my 30th birthday today! Boooo sad

Congrats to all the new BFPs!!! And sorry to the others for the cruel arrival of AF sad

Congratulations Honey and Amy- this bus seems to be getting very lucky!
CD38 here and a BFN for me sad huge temp spike today and still have that heavy feeling but STILL no AF. I don't like limbo land but maybe I ovulated later??
Good luck on the Feb bus Donna, FX you get your sticky bean soon x

Wineandchoccy Sat 18-Jan-14 10:12:39

I'm still here as well, I'm on cd23 and cycles have been around 40 days.
dtd last night and nearly fell off the bed trying to get my legs up the wall grin DH thinks I gave gone mad!

Congratulations to all the BFP.

Sorry for those that AF has got

Happy Birthday to Owlie cake

Congrats honey!! Lots of BFPs today!! grin

I'm still here, haven't idea when AF will come. Still don't think I've ovulated. Think this is going to be a long post mc cycle! FFS! So I'll prob be here til the end then hop on over to feb!

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 10:25:04

Happy Birthday, Owlie! I'll be celebrating a third of a century on the 28th Jan-hoping to get my BFP before then smile

So, still on the Jan Bus too and getting impatient, Grrr

missmrsmummy Sat 18-Jan-14 10:30:35

Happy birthday Owlie!

ImaginaryHat Sat 18-Jan-14 10:40:49

Happy birthday owlie!

Just tested fmu with an ic and bfn, and then spotting when I wiped so looks like I'm on my way out. 9dpo ffs. Gutted. Will stay on board until af comes properly, probably in a few days but pretty much lost hope for this month now.

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 10:46:31

9dpo is still pretty early and lots of women have spotting throughout pregnancy so don't give up hope yet!

ImaginaryHat Sat 18-Jan-14 10:55:58

Thanks kitty smile. However, this is pretty standard for me. Thought after the 2 chemicals Ive just had it might have at least shaken my cycle up a bit but looks like its reverting back to exactly what was happening before -lateish ovulation and early spotting. I suppose theres still a slim chance but going off my track record I think I pretty much know how its gonna go. Sorry to sound so negative. I think I'd been pinning my hopes on this cycle more than I realised and now feeling at a loss as how to 'fix' it.

MrsExtraOrdinary Sat 18-Jan-14 11:01:30

Imaginary I was 18 mts ttc last time after mc, prior to that I'd always fallen at drop of a hat, so I may be around sometime. Im so sorry I know some months were worse than others for me last time too.

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 11:06:31

It's hard to admit that we really have little control over our bodies as opposed to other areas of our lives. I must admit that if AF arrives, I will feel better knowing I did everything I could and will feel it was a waste if I missed just one DTD session or tested OPK at the right time etc. In reality though, we really shouldn't beat ourselves up over it but easier said than done, huh?! Maybe this is Fate's way of saying enjoy the Koala Plan next month grin

ImaginaryHat Sat 18-Jan-14 11:35:19

Thanks ladies. Just hits hard sometimes. Will have a good cry under the fluffy blanket then pull myself together for the koala plan next month. I know we might have missed ov day this month but dtd a lot in the run up so was hoping that would be enough. Anyway enough of my moaning, what's everyone up to this weekend? Not got anything on today but off out for sunday dinner and cinema with a chum tonorrrow, so that should be nice.

htbftm Sat 18-Jan-14 12:02:03

AF got me earlier his week, but first AF since coming off cerazette I December, so being positive it means my body is ready to go! Fab news on all the BFPs - there are loads!!!!! Will see yous on the Feb bus! xx

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 12:22:11

Nothing exciting for me, ImaginaryHat! Sitting at laptop in dining room planning lessons for next week (in between MNEtting!) Hope the Feb bus brings you lots of 'love' in more ways than one, htbftm!

BingoBango85 Sat 18-Jan-14 12:31:51

hello....may I buy a ticket for the bus? New to using forums, but DH getting bored of baby talk

htbftm Sat 18-Jan-14 12:41:14

Hi BingoBango! Think the tickets are free, so hop on lol! Are yu trying for your first? x

BingoBango85 Sat 18-Jan-14 12:59:06

Yes 1st. Been TTC 3 months, which I realise is nothing. Patience has never been my strong point lol.

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 13:00:56

Welcome BingoBango! 3 months is still longer than me so kudos. We will never get tired of baby/ttc talk so you are in a good place grin

BingoBango85 Sat 18-Jan-14 13:05:03

Thank you. Always cautious of tinternet; some TTC pages make you doubt how anyone manages to get pregnant. Hoping for positivitygrin

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 13:46:43

We try to keep it real wink

Are you doing anything specific, BingoBango such as using ovulation predictors or temp charting and the like?

Hi bingo!! Welcome!! We're a good bunch!! When's your BFP due?

BingoBango85 Sat 18-Jan-14 14:30:29

BFP 27th Jan so a while yet. Trying not to use any particular devices/charting yet other than a general conception calculator app wotsit. We've both been so full of a cold this month it would need to be a miracle conception wink How are you all managing things?

bellaboo88 Sat 18-Jan-14 15:27:20

Littlemisssunshine, I'm still sat here patiently...I'm testing around same time as you I hope, predicted ovulation today but no ewcm yet & only DTD once this cycle...done everything wrong, drank my bodyweight in soda in new York and ate a million burgers too! Not taken my trying for a baby tablets either!!

Also doing koala plan but peddling is hard! I can't do uncaffinated tea so sod it! This is my first cycle but came but didn't prevent last month whilst coming off pill, think I missed of tho!

Does anyone else get a huge glob of ewcm & does it happen as your oving or afterwards?? X

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 15:35:48

Well, this is a bit the middle of finishing off a lesson plan, I had to run to the bathroom to throw up. Now, either this is good news or I really just wrote the most awful lesson plan! Shame it is really to early to test - I got as far as looking at my ClearBlue pregnancy test packet and panicked when it said it was not that accurate before the first day period is due and promptly put it back on the bathroom shelf. angry

BingoBango, I started off this month with good intentions of the SMEP Plan but I never got a positive OPK result (am still not!) so have been DTD every other day since CD8. I am now on CD26. Have done some cycle peddling after a few of the last DTDs (see Koala Plan from Jan Bus Part 2) so hoping all that hard work did the trick!

bellaboo - I have really struggled to notice anything regarding ewcm and what's what 'down there' - and there was me thinking I knew my body really well grin

BingoBango85 Sat 18-Jan-14 15:50:17

Thanks for the link. I'm in two minds about OPKs at the mo.....trying to focus on DTD in my presumed 'window' instead, but well aware curiosity will get the better of me if this is a fruitless cycle.

missmrsmummy Sat 18-Jan-14 16:03:55

Oh no KittyVon (or should it be yay?!) how yucky! Are you ok now? Lesson planning is rather sickening, I have to agree!

Could be a good sign... Any other symptoms to note?

When is your BFP due again?

Writerwannabe83 Sat 18-Jan-14 16:14:53

Congratulations to all the BFPs today smile

mama31 Sat 18-Jan-14 16:24:54

Congrats Amy and honey! Great news!

Well koala plan was put in to action this morning!!! Needless to say DH face was a picture when I started cycling!!! I had to get him to leave the room, I just couldn't do it with him being hysterical!!! So I think from here on in, the plan is for him to leave for a few mins til I get the cycling over with then he can come back in!!! Haha!

With regard to orgasm after DH, we did manage this but I must just wasn't the same for me :/ but needs must....i will carry on with whatever it takes! oh and that manuka honey....well a spoon of that was tough to get down this morning....thought I was going to barf!!!!! :/

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 16:35:07

Can't believe I am still lesson planning; 6 hours on a Sat is a killer! If I had a 28 day cycle, I could test Monday but I haven't been off the Pill long enough to know what my cycle is exactly. So, missmrsmummy, was going to test on 24th Jan as per the SMEP Plan. Nausea has subsided at least. Feels annoying waiting till next Friday to test, but I have teacher training to deliver and another Parents Evening before then, so it will give me something to look forward to, I suppose smile

Mama, I've read other things online that say the order of big o doesn't really matter. Your uterus will make little contractions regardless. good luck with the koala plan! hope it works for you!

Honeybear30 Sat 18-Jan-14 16:59:23

Afternoon all, thought you might want my stats (I know I was always interested!)...

So TTC #1, cycle 3 after stopping microgynon at the end of October. My cycle lengths were 28 and then 26. We dtd on cd 10, 12, 13, 15 and 17. I had ovulation pain on cd 13 and ewcm. On cd 24 I had bad lower back ache followed by what I thought were ov cramps on cd 25 and 26. Did a frer this morning, cd 28 and it came up within seconds. Couldn't believe it. And I feel normal, a bit crampy but that's all.

It still hasn't sunk in. I've been wandering around the house all day with the frer so I can keep checking it?!

Honeybear30 Sat 18-Jan-14 17:00:04

Af cramps not ov cramps! D'oh!

Lovecuppy Sat 18-Jan-14 17:00:10

I'm still here too! AF due 28/29th jan and currently 2 DPO!! Roll on the end of jan :-)

Congratulations to all the BFPs and sorry for those who have been visited by AF. I'm sure I'll be joining you on the fen bus anyway as the planned DTD marathon didn't happen due to a poorly DP... Grrrr (oops wasn't very sympathetic!!)

Lovecuppy Sat 18-Jan-14 17:02:39

babytinks89 Sat 18-Jan-14 17:03:39

Can i join smile

Firstly congrats all you BFP's!!! So happy for you all, and sorry for the BFN this is me again sadly for now.....
Had 10 weeks MMC mid November, received first cycle 17th-23rd december.... But no AF since that's 33 days past now, and no sign of it and no sign of a BFP for me sad

Reading a few posts think i may try the sperm meets egg plan if my AF wants to hurry it's littleself up so we can try again lol!

Why is it such a long painful waiting game, not fair!

sending hugs to you all!!

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 17:19:11

It must be horrible being in limbo land, babytinks especially after your MMC - very sorry to hear that. The SMEP plan helped me to focus on something at least. I haven't got a +ve OPK yet so have been exhausting each other DTD every other day - at least DH has been game!

Sorry you are still here, Lovecuppy - we can wait together over the next week to poas smile

mama31 Sat 18-Jan-14 17:20:17

English I know what you mean! Lol but I'm just trying out new things this cycle....that I've not been doing last 7 cycles...will try anything!! smile

Treaclepie19 Sat 18-Jan-14 17:24:12

Arrrggghh. Think i may be out... 9DPO and started having pale pink blood. Would be very odd to be AF now as I'm pretty regular so hoping its implantation bleeding but still.

Lovecuppy Sat 18-Jan-14 17:30:57

Thanks kitty :-)

missmrsmummy Sat 18-Jan-14 17:35:12

Treacle I read somewhere that 9dpo is most common day for ib!

KittyVon I'm testing Fri too (now I think we may have already discussed this!) fx... Glad no more nausea! So hard working on the weekend. I've been APPing today!

missmrsmummy Sat 18-Jan-14 17:35:38

Do you think there are more acronyms on mn or in teaching?! Lol

Treaclepie19 Sat 18-Jan-14 17:55:55

Ooo thats a good sign then. Thanks missmrs
Haha I think its a close one with the acronyms :p

babytinks89 Sat 18-Jan-14 18:11:24

Thanks Kitty... Now it's just the waiting game for me.. Where are when we fell pregnant in aug last year it wasnt planned it happened right away with missing one of my pills.. Now its having to play the game to wait for it to happen again sad its super hard!

How are you getting on? Sorry haven't read all the posts, you have a BFP yet? Or is it still the waiting game for you too?

icy121 Sat 18-Jan-14 18:17:26

I love reading this thread and seeing I'm not alone in being conception-mad. I think my bosses may sack me, my productivity has stuttered to zero and I sit on my phone all day googling baby making info (obviously not going to use the work computer for that - and give them a chance to bin me off before I get pregnant and 'difficult' HA! Fuckers)

Anyway, on Cd21 - and fuck me it seems like cd 2001 - but finally got a positive line on opk. Skin is abysmal and lower abdomen is agony. I used to have eating 'issues' and would take herbal laxatives - similar sort of cramping. It is incredible having hormones again! Have had a sort of low-level nausea for the past 3 days, so got all excited but if I'm only ovulating now then pregnant I'm not. Jumped OH yesterday anyway so all good.

Really pleasing to read the good news stories in here and heart wrenching to read the sadder stories, but so glad everyone is posting away on here. I guess it's the point of the boards, but i think it's wonderful anyway. Thank you for all sharing so much of your lives and in doing so making the days a bit easier to get through!!

babytinks89 Sat 18-Jan-14 18:20:18

Hi icy, don't worry you are not the only one ha, although i do use my work pc ooops!
My health is more important so i'll blame it on that if it ever crops up!!

Good luck, how long ago was your last AF?

KittyVonCatsington Sat 18-Jan-14 18:20:45

still a waiting game for me grin

barmybunting Sat 18-Jan-14 18:41:54

Congratulations on the new bfps! It was lovely to read that good news this morning.

I am just cross with this ttc process today, I may be having a symptom spotting day as it's about 12dpo I think but ewcm has gone mad over the last two days, piles of it, so I'm now worried I didn't ov after all and my cycles are screwed up again. Oh what a joyous process this is. Please can someone give me a kick up the bum and tell me to stop obsessing?!

mrsb87 Sat 18-Jan-14 19:28:29

Evening guys, I'm still here on the bus! Bfpa/af due next week. Symptom crazy today, been really sleepy, to the point I even had an afternoon nap! Lower tummy cramps and tonight we ordered our favourite chinese, was really looking forward to this as I have been off my food for 2/3days, it really just didnt taste right, dh husband had the same and we tried ea hothers they tasted exactly the same! He was convinced they tasted the same as normal but I couldnt eat it sad
this had better be pg symptoms or I will be mega upset!

Sleepingstarsmommy Sat 18-Jan-14 19:59:12

Evening ladies.

Congrats to BFPs and sorry to those AF has caught.

I'm currently 8dpo and know that tomorrow I will be POAS because I am a POAS addict. I know I have seen a website giving stats on % of BFPs on the days post ov but can't seem to find it. Has anyone got the link??

mrsb87 Sat 18-Jan-14 20:04:47
Lovecuppy Sat 18-Jan-14 20:05:52
Sleepingstarsmommy Sat 18-Jan-14 21:16:31

Thanks ladies. According to one of those links it says testing tomorrow is tempting but still best to wait!! Never going to happen - my ICs are ready and waiting for me grin

Treaclepie19 Sat 18-Jan-14 21:26:40

I'm testing tomorrow too! Unless this is AF not IB. I know its too early but still. It says on that site to "hold off if you can" haha.

please let this be implantation bleeding

Jo178 Sat 18-Jan-14 21:46:58

Hi all, CD18 and still no positive opk. hmm The past couple of days have had faint lines to the point where I'm wondering if I'm imagining it DH goes away for work on Monday til Wednesday so I'm hopeful it comes tomorrow to give us one chance. Beginning to wonder if I've missed it.

missmrsmummy Sun 19-Jan-14 01:28:13

Barmy I have lots of ewcm too... I have read this is a pg symptom and obviously the internet is gospel so fx it's a good sign for both of us!

Sleepingstarsmommy Sun 19-Jan-14 07:02:32

BFN. Not surprised as AF not due until Friday. Will try again tomorrow and everyday after that until I get a BFP or AF gets me

bumpbangbump Sun 19-Jan-14 07:59:16

Just checking in to say congratulations for the bfps and commiserations to those that witch got. AF due next Sunday and no symptoms yet. Although I do have a chin full off spots which I got last month, so funily enough I'm not feeling positive!

barmybunting Sun 19-Jan-14 08:03:59

MissMrs, I like the internet today when it tells you that smile . It is of course totally wrong when it doesn't agree with us! Are you planning to test sometime soon?

Something is up anyway, if af is on the way she is giving me a hell of a lead up to her arrival. TMI probably, but my nipples have been erect for about three days and my breasts suddenly feel like inflating balloons so goodness knows what that's about!

bellaboo88 Sun 19-Jan-14 08:23:01

Fx barmy, sounds painful but promising!!!!

Wow bus is really emptying now, lots of bfps tho!!

I'm thinking of transferring as I think I'm on the wrong bus but I'll wait & see if it diverts to my stop yet....still no ov (by ewcm monitoring) so will see if I get another shot at peeing in a pot or witch yet!

Feeling rubbish, was jet lagged from NY but my timezones reset to 'teenager', wide awake till gone 4am sad x

barmybunting Sun 19-Jan-14 08:23:07

I have fallen to the POAS addiction this morning and used a sainsburys test. it has given me a very faint cross line at about 8 mins but it doesn't go fully across the window, it fades to nothing in the middle. It's also one of those dreaded blue dye tests. I think I need to take myself to superdrug today!

ItsChristmaass Sun 19-Jan-14 08:34:16

Barmy I've heard sainsburys ones aren't very good cuz of the dye, and also I used one a few months back and it showed a faint positive when I wasn't pregnant. I try stick to frer or super drug now.
I'm still clutching my seat on this bus, cd23 today about 9/10 dpo. Still having the cramping and lots of milky type cm (sorry tmi). Holding off testing for as long as I can confused
Trying to stay positive and my poor dh is so excited and convinced this is our month, I hope we're both not disappointed. FX!

mrsb87 Sun 19-Jan-14 08:37:33

Ah barmy me too! Very faint line (I'm convinced anyway!!) But will hold off testing for a couple of days to confirn my suspicions

sazzlehopes Sun 19-Jan-14 08:40:29

Hi all, Still here but keeping quiet(ish) so as not to get myself into a poas frenzy as usual!! I have a pretty busy week ahead which is good and may mean I can hold off until af will be late which is fri with i think kitty and missmrs as poas testing buddies? The 2 superdrug tests i bought yesterday are burning a hole in my cupboard but i really hope i don't break and use them early.....

Congrats to kitty, amy and honey on your bfp. Great news and thanks for all the details. posting on my phone (computer is playing games with me and the internet...) and can't update the stats so if someone else can be the conductor for a bit that'd be great!!

Barmy, sounds sort of promising - symptoms and semi failed test. buy a frer or superdrug and maybe try again later or tomorrow with fmu? fx.

LittleMissSunshine33 Sun 19-Jan-14 08:44:26

Hey all! Happy Sundays!

Glad to see there's still some on the bus! I have fingers x for all of you!

I'm now on the 2ww low fertile circle on my OPK and already wondering if the niggling in my stomach is a symptom ... It's going to be a long 2 weeks!

Just going to check out the recommended websites!

Treaclepie19 Sun 19-Jan-14 08:47:26

I don't know what to think, thought AF was here cus of more normal blood in the night (had to go to the toilet at 4am, none on pad).
Woke up this morning expecting not to test but there wasnt as much blood as I'd have thought by now so tested and BFN(but I should only be 10DPO).
If this is AF then it means my luteal phase was too short. I've always had regular cycles so its really odd.

barmybunting Sun 19-Jan-14 08:47:31

ItsChristmas that creamy cm is what I was wondering about as well a few days ago, copious amounts of it. I reckon it's a good sign!

I have heard similar things about sainsburys tests, I am not taking this one as anything but a reason to test again smile . I'm off to superdrug later today and will test in the morn (if I can hold off!).

Fingers crossed for you, I hope this is it for you and your dh! it certainly sounds promising.

barmybunting Sun 19-Jan-14 08:52:26

sazzle, fingers crossed for you! Good luck with holding off testing until later in the week. I'll be thinking of you!

treacle if the bleeding is implantation bleed, I think it would be a bit early to get a bfp just now so I would give it a day or two then test again depending on whether you think it's af or not. Fingers crossed for you!

barmybunting Sun 19-Jan-14 08:53:52

Mrsb87, looking promising for you! Good luck!

Treaclepie19 Sun 19-Jan-14 08:55:53

Thanks barmy
It seemed a bit too heavy for IB earlier but I rarely have AF early. I'll have to wait and see.

MrsF2510 Sun 19-Jan-14 09:30:37

Bumpbangbump - I'm not sure the spots thing would be related to AF. I am about 2dpo bit have a huge spot (unusual for me) but I would assume it's the surge in eostrogen linked to OV rather than AF x

missmrsmummy Sun 19-Jan-14 10:20:15

Hi sazzle! Yep, you me and Kitty - it's a poas date!

missmrsmummy Sun 19-Jan-14 10:21:21

DH is trying to hard not to get excited but keeps asking if I have AF pains... He could become as obsessive as us soon!

sazzlehopes Sun 19-Jan-14 10:43:59

missmrs - hooray poas buddies! i'll do my best to hold off til then. to be honest if i do get that far, it will mean i'm actually one day late, and i haven't been late i don't think for the last 14 cycles! eeeekkkkk exciting! this week is going to be killer, from wednesday major knicker watch!! oh god those damn tests are calling out to me!!

missmrsmummy Sun 19-Jan-14 10:46:58

sazzle I hope we can survive AF til then! I have never been late either, in fact last months AF gig me today so my cycle was only 23 days. If I get to Fri it'll be 28 days

KittyVonCatsington Sun 19-Jan-14 11:40:47

Friday it is then grin

No nausea today. Reading back over others' symptoms, I had the milky white discharge a few days ago too. Was good last night at an engagement party and had virgin cocktails-no one noticed! Let's help us get through the next few days together. <FX>

Writerwannabe83 Sun 19-Jan-14 11:59:10

sazzle - I don't mind being conductor for you if you'd like??

It will probably be a lot easier for me seeing as I'm signed off sick so not only will it give me something productive to do each day (and I have the time to do it) it also gives me a reason to stick around and watch all the BFP's come rolling in!!! At least if I have a role of doing the Stats I'm not just the crazy pregnant lady who stalks you all grin It means you lot can all just focus on Symptom Spotting and POAS and leave the rest to me smile

Treaclepie19 Sun 19-Jan-14 12:10:32

I think I'm probably off the bus early as blood seems to have increased. Good luck everyone!

Will stay lurking but going to hop on the Feb bus now.

KittyVonCatsington Sun 19-Jan-14 12:25:33

Oh no! So sorry Treaclepie very cross on your behalf! The Feb bus is going to be your lucky one grin

missmrsmummy Sun 19-Jan-14 12:26:13

Oh no, Treacle! Keep us updated though, just in case!

Thanks Writer I'm excited to see the updated stats! Hope you are ok x

Good work on the virgin cocktails Kitty! I drove last night so I didn't drink and I had a good excuse. I'm driving to a family lunch today but they won't have that as an excuse as I'd usually have a small glass of wine... just a shame they will assume I'm actually pregnant rather than just ttc and get all excited :-/

DH has asked again if any sign of AF and how am I feeling! Really hoping for BFP for his sake!

Writerwannabe83 Sun 19-Jan-14 12:31:08

Me and DH are going accessory shopping soon for our new kitchen and nursery stuff so will be out for most of the day but I promise to work on the Stats as soon as I get back smile

missmrsmummy Sun 19-Jan-14 12:33:20

How lovely, Writer! How many weeks are you?

sazzlehopes Sun 19-Jan-14 12:33:51

Write, you are an absolute love, thank you that would be so helpful! I have a big work week ahead and working from home is very distracting! I like doing the stats but it takes up time and mean i get even more distracted by reading back through pages and pages of symptoms for me to obsess over!
I love that you hanging around with us, it's lovely to have you here! grin xxx

LittleMissSunshine33 Sun 19-Jan-14 12:36:49

Sorry to hear that treacle hope you're ok!

How early is too early to POAS? 2dpo?? wink

Writerwannabe83 Sun 19-Jan-14 12:37:28

No problem sazzle I promise to try and do as good a job as you have!!

mrsmummy - I'm just over 30 weeks now. I'm not a mad bus stalker honestly, it's just that I find myself keep hanging around to watch previous fellow passengers get their BFPs!!! Plus, these bus threads are always full of so much positivity, fun and support that I could read them for hours! Being on the bus (even in a 'just watching' capacity) is the nicest place to be on the entire MN forum smile

missmrsmummy Sun 19-Jan-14 12:51:00

Aw how lovely Writer! I am enjoying being on the bus.. makes the whole journey of ttc so much more enjoyable (journey - get it? lol)

I'm nervous of getting bfp and having to move to a new thread! I hope our Jan bus friends will be there!

Treaclepie19 Sun 19-Jan-14 12:53:24

Thanks everyone!
I will keep you updated but must be my cycles playing tricks on me.
Thanks Littlemiss, I'm ok just feeling sorry for myself and annoyed my cycle has changed!
Fx for you all smile

ItsChristmaass Sun 19-Jan-14 13:07:34

Hmm, is constipation a symptom? confused
Also boobs are so sore today. Really hope is all for good reason!

KittyVonCatsington Sun 19-Jan-14 13:10:21

DH has asked again if any sign of AF and how am I feeling! Really hoping for BFP for his sake!

Wish my DH was that interested sad Even when I mentioned throwing up yesterday (he was round at a property doing it up all day) he didn't say anything and had two occasions last night of him snapping at me which rarely happens (first time: I couldn't decide on which virgin cocktail to have so was waiting at the bar ready to ask the barman, but DH snapped and said "so you expect me to guess?" when I said I wanted a virgin cocktail but didn't finish my sentence which was going to say, I'll ask the barman for recommendations and the other time was driving, when I went in the wrong direction home, well not the quickest way anyway.) I'm hoping it doesn't mean he is having second thoughts - still wanted to DTD this morning wink

mrsb87 Sun 19-Jan-14 13:13:35

Aww sorry treacle. Fx for a bfp for you in feb!

Nice one kitty on the cocktails! Told you they were yummy wink surely a small glass of wine will be ok?

Hi writer what are you upto with stats? Im fairly new to the bus.

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday!

KittyVonCatsington Sun 19-Jan-14 13:31:31

surely a small glass of wine will be ok?

Funnily enough, on Friday, I did buy a small bottle of a 2.9% vol posh beer and three sips in, got sharp stabbing pains on my left side, so I stopped and gave it to my DH to finish. All very wierd as I always enjoy a nice drink on a Friday confused either that, or I am so much of an alcoholic that my body was saying, "no!" after two weeks off drinking since New Year! I find it odd as a lot of people I know with children were blind drunk when conceived grin

Writerwannabe83 Sun 19-Jan-14 13:42:28

MrsB - I will just be updating the list of all the passengers who are on the bus and who has got their BFPs so far. If you are new to the bus have you wrote down your stats?? These include what number child you are trying to conceive, what cycle you are on and when your period is due. I will be doing the list throughout the day - it may take some time to complete because I will probably have to read back through a lot of pages to make sure it's up to date. If you have already posted with your stats then I should be able to find them smile

KittyVonCatsington Sun 19-Jan-14 13:50:32

You're the best, Writerwannabe!!!

mrsb87 Sun 19-Jan-14 13:51:12

writer I think I did but will do another just in case?!

Name: mrsb
Ttc#1 cycle 1
Af/bfp Saturday 25th (ish!)

LittleMissSunshine33 Sun 19-Jan-14 13:52:43

My stats are ttc#1 Cycle 2 AF/BFP due 30th Jan smile

missmrsmummy Sun 19-Jan-14 14:04:40

Ok I'm thinking a Prosecco would be ok.... If anything goes wrong though I'll always think it was because of that! :-/

MrsExtraOrdinary Sun 19-Jan-14 14:31:57

Af or bfp due Wednesday, but I've got the rage! This is not a good sign is it?! angry

mrsb87 Sun 19-Jan-14 14:40:59

missmrs why don't you have a spritzer? Diluted and will last you longer too wink

KittyVonCatsington Sun 19-Jan-14 14:47:29

Ok I'm thinking a Prosecco would be ok...

Good choice! wine

LittleMissSunshine33 Sun 19-Jan-14 15:31:35

I had a couple of glasses of prose co last night felt a little bit tipsy after two! Think it's because I haven't been drinking lately!

Finding planning really hard today I keep wondering onto baby websites instead!! Oops!

Afternoon all. Firstly Writer thanks for stepping into the conductor outfit. How's the bump? Not long left for you now smile
I know how everyone's feeling about alcohol, I'm usually the designated driver as we live about 5 miles away from most of our friends. However last night 2 of my friends went "ooh not drinking tonight?" Wink wink. I guess being married 9 months everyone's waiting for the big announcement!!
Hopefully won't have to wait too much longer hmm

sazzlehopes Sun 19-Jan-14 15:57:19

Thanks Writer, we probably best make use of your free time for the next 12 weeks before you have that babe of yours! Excited for you!! xx

Thanks for stepping in Writer! I think I'll keep popping back as well if and when I do get my BFP!
We all egg each other on so much, you want a BFP for everyone else nearly as much as yourself!

I'm def goin to be on the feb bus I think... My body's all over the show. Temps are up and down like a yoyo and cm is a bit weird too... In fact pretty much non existent. Even the cough medicine trick failed!

Writerwannabe83 Sun 19-Jan-14 16:22:28

sazzle - baby will be here 9 weeks tomorrow grin
munday - bump is getting very big now - I love it smile

I've just got back from my shopping trip so I'll start on the Stats now - see you in a few hours, lol grin

Jo178 Sun 19-Jan-14 17:13:47

My stats are: ttc#2
Cycle 1
AF/BFP due 29th Jan (according to period app) but since I've only recorded one period since coming off cerazette early December, I'm not convinced of its accuracy.
Still no positive opk, cd 19 so will probably be on the Feb bus too!

Writerwannabe83 Sun 19-Jan-14 17:51:57

STATS updates and requests

Hello all, after spending ages reading through old threads I have updated as best I can smile.

There was a list of names as long as my arm of passengers whose AF due dates have long since been and gone yet there has been no update from them (that I could see anyway) and as a result I have removed all the names.

For anyone who is missing off the BFP list just let me know your stats again and I'll add you smile

There is also a list of names whose BFP could have been expected over the last few days but there has been no news yet and no recent posts from the members. Can people check if your name is on this list and then update me as necessary?

There are also a list of passengers where various details are missing and no updates have been given so can these please be checked too? And if anyone has any news on any other members just let me know and I can amend as necessary.

If you are a passenger whose details are not on any of the lists (be it BFP or still waiting) then just message me and I'll add you smile

Do I sound really anal and annoying??? haha grin
I just want it to be perfect!!! smile

I will put the new stats up in a few minutes, I will have one last quick skim through the latest bus just to make sure I haven't missed anything obvious smile

mrsb87 Sun 19-Jan-14 18:08:23

Wow that sounds complicated!

i'm impressed with your commitment to the stats writer!!

babytinks89 Sun 19-Jan-14 18:15:11

My AF came today after a long 34 days cycle! Boooo
Trying again #3 end Jan/Feb! Drained......

missmrsmummy Sun 19-Jan-14 18:15:24

Littlemiss I'm finding it hard to concentrate on planning/marking too! All I have to do is adapt last year's English for this week and it's taking me hours! Also APPing writing as well.. but DH and I keep having baby conversations now so my mind is wandering! He's the one who's supposed to be keeping cool about the whole thing! We have basically decided upon baby names now and how we will decorate the nursery!

Wow, well done Writer! You don't seem anal at all, just an extremely professional conductor who takes her job seriously!

Right, I'm symptom spotting more than ever not symptom spotting at all but seriously, lots of cm here (TMI but it feels like an AF 'flood' so I keep rushing to the loo thinking the old hag has arrived but it's just cm) and I just had a rather strong wave of nausea. Could it be (a) the fact I don't want to go to school tomorrow (b) the burger, chips, chocolate brownie and ice cream I just ate at the pub or (c) BFP.....

I didn't drink in the end! Had a ginger beer :-D

BingoBango85 Sun 19-Jan-14 18:20:34

#TTC 1 cycle 3
BFP due 27th Jan

It's interesting to hear others' other halves are fairly disinterested too. DH is more of the laid back variety; less inclined to worry about days, healthy body etc. Thinks I get het over nothing.....wink

Work tomorrow...booooo! But at least it'll take our mind off of watching our bodies for baby signs x

Thank you so much Writer! You have even put all the BFP dates in order! Amazing thanks

Hi writer - I'm TTC#1 Cycle 4 (1st post mc).
Unsure when bfp is due as its likely to be screwed due to mc. Put it down as 31st. But sure its more likely to go into feb.
Thanks hun [smiley]

mrsb87 Sun 19-Jan-14 18:37:05

My dh has been really stressed with work this week so baby talk just hasn't happened and I understand why but it would be nice if he just asked how I felt about it ya know? Just feel like he isn't interested sad

BingoBango85 Sun 19-Jan-14 18:39:52

Wow.....when you look at those stats life feels much more optimistic! What a lot of BFPs!!!

Thanks for your hard work Writer x

Writerwannabe83 Sun 19-Jan-14 18:41:00

missmrsmummy - the previous conductor had the brainwave of putting the BFPs in order so I won't take the credit - I also thought it was brilliant when I first saw it!! grin

Thanks for your update English - I will wait to hear from others and then completely update the list tomorrow smile

babytinks89 Sun 19-Jan-14 18:45:49

Hi writer! Stats for me.... Cycle #2 started today. #1 MC November, TTC #2 but #3 after this cycle. smile

Writerwannabe83 Sun 19-Jan-14 18:50:18

So when is your AF due babytinks - are you going to be on the February bus now?

Thanks Writer that's a brilliant effort! My BFP/ AF is MIA, think this is called limbo land. So think my AF could be 23rd Jan which would be 43 days, longer than any other!

MrsExtraOrdinary Sun 19-Jan-14 19:20:15

I'm only on cycle 1 currently. Thankyou

LePetitPont Sun 19-Jan-14 19:33:52

I think I forgot to buy my ticket for the Jan bus (got in a sulk ttc cycle 5) but.... I got a bfp this morning!!!!! Cycle 6 is clearly the winner.

Fingers and toes crossed for lots of others to also get ther two little lines smile
